first day of uni and I’m already frustrated at the treatment of neuodivergent kids by ppl in a position of power over them !!
#a girl said shes a swim coach n works with autistic kids a lot n ‘its hard bc they wont let u touch them’#im 99% sure if u asked before u did they’d be okay with it#ive coached kids with sensory problems like that n if u warn them theyre okay#or if u like ask them n they say no n u have to help them u can explain why#im so sick of ppl thinking that verbal communication is the only valid form#like no and no one actually thinks it is#but thats it if u cant talk ppl complain that they cant interact with u#i hate it !!
