10 Top-Rated Attractions & Things to Do in Fujairah
Tumblr media
The majority of the UAE's (United Arab Emirates) eastern coast and the Hajar Mountain region are both included in the Emirate of Fujairah. Fujairah City, a contemporary industrial town with few tourist attractions, serves as its primary hub.
The emirate has a lot to offer, even though you might not want to stay too long in the town itself, which is separated from Fujairah city's grid pattern of high-rise office buildings. The beaches of Fujairah Emirate in the north draw a regular stream of tourists seeking a less hectic sun and sand getaway than Dubai has to offer. One of the best areas to go scuba diving in the UAE is along this stretch of beach.
The Emirate of Fujairah's part of the Hajar Mountains offers hiking in the rough desert mountain highlands as well as scenic road trips, even if the sand is the main point of interest for tourists. Use an emirates visa for South African citizens for the top attractions and things to do in Fujairah to get an idea of what this less-traveled emirate has to offer.
1. Beach Time & Diving in Al Aqah
Tumblr media
Most visitors seeking sun and sand in the Emirate of Fujairah make their way to Al Aqah, where a lengthy beach encircles the coastline and Snoopy Island dominates the view of the Gulf of Oman from the sun loungers. Al Aqah, which is 45 kilometers north of Fujairah City, is one of the UAE's less-developed resort locations. There are just a few five-star hotels scattered along the coastline, but much more development is anticipated in the near future. For the time being, this is still the place to go if you want a peaceful beach vacation away from Dubai's packed beaches.
2. Road-Trip to the Hajar Mountains
Tumblr media
The UAE's northern interior is traversed by the Hajar Mountains. The landscape of sharp mountain peaks is unrecognizable from what most people connect with the nation and is a popular destination for road trips. Even on a brief journey from the west coast to the east, you may see a glimpse of the magnificent mountain views. Officially, distinct areas of the Hajar belong to the Fujairah, Ras Al-Khaimah, and Sharjah emirates. The important connecting roads that travel inland, such as the E18 and E87 that connect Ras Al-Khaimah to the east coast and the especially stunning E89 that runs from Masafi to Dibba Al-Fujairah in the north, provide a feast of views.
3. Visit Al-Bidyah Mosque
Tumblr media
The mud-brick Al-Bidyah Mosque, which is the oldest in the United Arab Emirates and was named after the community that once surrounded it, is located about 35 kilometers north of Fujairah City. The engineering elements represent a significant achievement for the construction time. The mosque has a prayer hall with a mihrab and ventilation apertures that are adorned with arches (prayer niche pointing to Mecca). The interior is divided into four similar-sized squares by a central pillar and has dome-shaped ceilings in each of them. Excavations in the mosque's vicinity have shown that the area has been occupied for 4,000 years.
4. Explore the Hajar Mountain Wadis
One of the top activities in Fujairah for hikers and climbers is to explore the wadis of the Hajar Mountain. A wadi is primarily a dry riverbed that can hold water after significant rain, but it can also refer to any valley oasis.
Tumblr media
Wadi Siji, Wadi Saham, and Wadi Maidaq are some of the most stunning wadis in the region.
The longest valley is Wadi Ham, which extends from Ras Al-Khaimah in the north to Fujairah in the south. Wadi Al Taiwan is a beautiful site to visit because of the breathtaking hilly route that leads there.
5. Visit Fujairah Fort in Fujairah City
The 1670-built Fujairah Fort suffered significant damage as a result of a British attack in the early 20th century. It is thought to be the oldest fort in the United Arab Emirates and has previously served as both a defensive structure and the residence of the royal dynasty. It served as the sole stone structure along the Fujairah coast for many years.
Tumblr media
The fort consists of one square tower, two round towers, multiple halls, and three main parts. It has recently been completely restored to its previous splendor. The Department of Archaeology and Heritage in Fujairah created a tiny Heritage Village that includes the area around the fort. Apply emirates visa for South African nationals and get your chance to visit this emirate.
6. See Khor Fakkan Waterfall & Theater
Along with Dibba and Kalba, Khor Fakkan is one of the three eastern coast exclaves of the Sharjah Emirate, however, most travelers will pass through Fujairah Emirate instead because Khor Fakkan is only 30 kilometers from Fujairah city.
Tumblr media
An artificial 43-meter-high waterfall tumbling down a purpose-built rocky cliff face can be seen in central Khor Fakkan town, right on the main north-south route overlooking the beach, as well as a sizable modern theatre constructed in Classical-Roman style.
Since it was established in 2020, it has grown to be a well-liked stop for travelers looking to get some exercise and snap a few pictures of the route connecting Al Aqah and Fujairah.
7. Kayak on Al-Rafisah Dam
The Al-Rafisah Dam is located 30 kilometers north of Fujairah city and six kilometers inland from Khor Fakkan town, an exclave of Sharjah on the east coast. The Dam is a well-liked vacation spot for families who wish to spend a laid-back day outside of the city, surrounded by nature. It is surrounded by scenery of ragged, dark mountain peaks and is home to a variety of birds.
Tumblr media
A restaurant, a café, a few stores, a sizable children's playground, and lots of room for picnicking are among the good amenities on the shorefront. You may rent kayaks and pedal boats if you want to get out on the water itself.
8. Stop by Bithnah
Make sure to stop at Bithnah if you plan to tour the Hajar Mountains. This little town in Wadi Ham, only 13 kilometers west of Fujairah city, served as a crucial stopping point for centuries on the trade routes connecting the west and east coasts.
Tumblr media
The Bithnah Fort, which was constructed in 1735 and serves as the area's principal tourist attraction, was seen to be essential to the protection of this region of the Arabian Peninsula's eastern shore. The fort's massive frame of thick golden-stoned walls, bordered by a substantial circular watch tower, makes it exceptionally photogenic, and the views over the surrounding landscape of palm groves and craggy mountains from the ramparts are breathtaking.
9. View Fujairah City's Sheikh Zayed Mosque
The contemporary Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah has six 100-meter-tall minarets on a site the size of three football fields. There is a capacity of 32,000 worshippers in the enormous prayer hall.
Tumblr media
The traditional Ottoman-style mosque, which was completed in 2015 and is now the second-largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates after the more well-known Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, has become a prominent landmark in Fujairah. Between 9 am and noon on Saturday through Thursday, non-Muslim tourists can enter the mosque to see its opulent interior, which includes opulent chandeliers and arches in the Moorish style. Visitors can have a free tour of the mosque at this time.
10. Explore Local History at Fujairah Museum
Tumblr media
The Fujairah Museum, which is close to Fujairah Fort, has a fantastic collection of early Bronze Age artifacts that were discovered during excavations at Qidfa and Bithnah. Weapons from the Bronze and Iron Ages, decorated ceramics, carved soapstone pots, and pre-Islamic silver coins are among the on display items. A valued object at the museum is a 2,200-year-old dish made of ostrich egg that was unearthed at Qidfa. A strong ethnography area is also present, featuring examples of customary emirates visa for South African passport holders everyday life and handicrafts.

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside!
70th anniversary of Julie Andrews’ three-month run in “Coconut Grove” at the Blackpool Hippodrome  (26 June - 1 October 1949)
When discussing her long and varied career, Julie Andrews is fond of representing it as a series of fortuitous “stepping stones,” “great, wonderful bursts of good fortune [that] I would race to be worthy of" (Brockes 2004).
The first of these auspicious breaks was Starlight Roof, the up-scale London variety revue that marked Julie’s professional debut in late-1947. At the end of her one year run in the show –– limited to a strict twelve month maximum by council laws governing theatrical employment of minors –– Julie recounts that she was awash with tears. “I honestly thought that was the end of my career, the end of all the fun, and that I would never work again” (Andrews, 2008: 88).
Such was the impact of Starlight Roof, however –– and such the ambitious management of those around her, perhaps –– that the pint-sized soprano was quickly launched into a series of follow-up engagements that further advanced her budding celebrity. From singing on the radio to appearing in big London pantos and even performing for royalty, the young Julie Andrews carved out a solid career as post-war Britain’s singing child wonder, a virtuosic “prima donna in pigtails” (Pearce: 3).
Most of these early performances were patterned more or less directly on the Starlight Roof novelty theme with Julie appearing as the unassuming little girl from Walton-on-Thames –– complete with white smock dress, ankle socks and  Dolly shoes –– who would gaily skip onto the stage and let forth with this phenomenal coloratura singing voice. Touring the British variety circuit, often on the same bill as her parents, Julie typically stole the show...and the notices! “Julie Andrews...provides the highlight of the evening,” enthused one review of an appearance at the Hackney Empire in May 1949. Her “[o]peratic selections and ballad numbers, with excellent pianoforte accompaniment, are enjoyed in an all-too-brief appearance” (’Round the Halls’: 5).
Before long, Julie emerged as the star in the family with theatrical billing shifting from ‘Ted and Barbara Andrews with Julie’ to ‘Julie Andrews with Ted and Barbara’. “That was not a very happy state of affairs,” Julie later recalled, “certainly not for my stepfather who had an ego to think about” (Moir: 17). The growing disparity of professional fortunes became plainly apparent in the summer of 1949 when Julie and her parents were contracted to perform in the northern English town of Blackpool.
The largest seaside resort in the UK, Blackpool has been a longstanding epicentre for domestic British tourism and, with it, summertime entertainment (Brodie and Whitfield, 2014). Widely lampooned today as down-market and a little seedy, the Blackpool entertainment industry in its heyday was hugely vibrant. Theatres, opera houses, ballrooms, winter gardens and a whole multiform “infrastructure of fun” sprang up to service the town’s massive seasonal market of family holidaymakers with something for everyone from grandparents to children (ibid: 51ff).
By the 1940s, Blackpool was at its peak as the British capital of summertime entertainment. Boasting fourteen live theatres and eighteen picture theatres, it was reputed to offer “the biggest show biz in the world for the size of the town” (Regensberg: 52).  These venues provided “a flow of entertainment comprising revue, vaudeville, ice and water spectacles and circus to millions of visitors and locals,” offering lucrative opportunities for performing talent “with the season absorbing some of the biggest radio and vaude[ville] names” (ibid.).
It was in this context that, in the summer of 1949, the Andrews family was placed under three-month contract by Tom Arnold and Jack Taylor, a pair of seasoned theatre producers who had recently set up as independents after years of supplying shows for the Blackpool Tower Company (Regensberg: 52). Following initial success in the 1948 season, Arnold and Taylor went all out in 1949 mounting three big shows: Water Follies, an aquatic spectacular housed at the Derby Baths with Johnny ‘Tarzan’ Weissmuller flown in from Hollywood as star attraction; Coconut Grove, a lavish Hollywood-style revue at the Blackpool Hippodrome, a 2500-seat theatre in the heart of town; and Orchid Room, a slightly more modest variety show at the smaller Central Pier Pavilion on the seafront (Band, 2018).
Barbara and Ted Andrews were placed on the bill of the Orchid Room, playing support to the comedian Frankie Howerd as headliner, while Julie appeared as part of the Coconut Grove line-up. The latter owed more than a passing nod to Starlight Roof. Alongside Julie, it featured several other Starlight alumni including balloon-man Wally Boag and singer Jean Carson. A glowing report in the British show biz paper, The Stage gives a sense of the revue’s opulence:
“The whole theatre is converted into a lavish auditorium, with bands on either side of the stage and another playing in the vestibule. Silver decorations seem to dominate the scene, and some of the spectacular ensembles are beautiful. One, in which the whole stage is starlit, is extended to the theatre itself, with the chorus coming out into the auditorium carrying lighted trees, and is particularly effective (”Summer Entertainment”: 5).
The Yorkshire Post was equally rhapsodic, describing how “the unstinted lavishness of costumes, scenery and effects give the show an overwhelming appearance of magnificence” (“Blackpool’s Square Mile”: 6). Coconut Grove even garnered international attention with US entertainment bible, Variety running an extended profile on Blackpool’s bumper season, noting that “Julie Andrews, a kid protegee, whams ‘em” (Regensburg: 52).
Behind the glitter, though, the summer was not a happy one for the Andrews clan with problems in Ted and Barbara’s relationship coming to the fore. As early as her 1958 serialised memoir for Woman magazine, written barely nine years after the fact, Julie admitted that the “summer season in Blackpool...should have been lovely, but there was some strange atmosphere at home which I kept trying not to notice––and couldn’t help noticing more each day” (Andrews 1958: 45). In keeping with the era’s culture of circumspection about such matters, the 1958 Julie gingerly glossed the familial unease as a case of marital tensions due to financial stress. But fifty years later in her 2008 autobiography, she would be much more forthright with details about Ted’s chronic problem drinking, her mother’s own developing co-dependent alcoholism, and a domestic environment of sporadic violence (Andrews 2008: 104-106). With a degree of melancholic irony, she writes:
“There was a publicity photo taken during this period of the family walking together along the front at Blackpool, looking very happy. These days, my brothers and I marvel at how far removed that photograph was from the reality of what was actually going on” (ibid: 106).
A painful time for all, no doubt, but the summer at Blackpool was an important one in the professional and, one suspects, personal life of Julie Andrews. It consolidated her breakout performance in Starlight Roof, bringing her to the attention of an expanded audience, as well as further cultivating professional networks that would prove valuable in coming years. By Julie’s own reckoning, it also firmed her renowned sense of personal discipline and dutiful resolve as she recognised the need to step to the fore and fill the void as the family’s main emotional support and breadwinner. “I felt extremely responsible,” she recalls,
“felt that I had to take care of the whole family, that it was only me being an adult around the place. So I [tried] to preserve what was good, being cheerful, and saying, ‘Things aren't so bad. We'll manage.’ And, of course, we did” (Meryman: 87).

Most Recommended north cyprus Properties In this article, we have collected some of the most desirable and recommended houses that we and other companies are offering in North Cyprus. So what is so special about this village?Extra Benefits!
Why did we do this? We wanted to give you a sense of the diversity of properties in this amazingly unique area.
First of all, the villas.
One of Kensington’s most successful projects is Savyon Village. Savyon Village is a beautiful area for those who are looking for a substantial holiday or full-time home in Northern Cyprus. Perched high in the mountain to the east of  Girne (Kyrenia), from this village it is possible to observe the spectacular coastline of North Cyprus. Several plots in this village are still available, for anyone who is looking for a luxury vacation villa, and even for a home to live in.
The second village we would recommend is Turtle Bay Village, again both a full-time residential development for some and pleasant holiday homes for others.  Unfortunately, Turtle Bay Village has been so popular it has now recently sold out.
So why are we presenting this project for you? Because we still want to show you the diversity of Northern Cyprus. It’s true, Turtle Bay Village is very special, but it’s not the only place with this unique style.
You probably guessed it by the name –Turtle Bay Village is known due to the proximity of the local beaches which are host to these wonderful creatures who come each year to hatch their eggs.
This village is located near one of the best public beaches in North Cyprus, Alagadi Beach, where not just tourists come to sun themselves but where you can also witness turtle excavations and watch the new hatchlings begin their journey from their nest to the sea.  It is a magical experience and with the help of the local project which runs each year, has proven to be an absolute must-see event when on holiday in North Cyprus.
Turtle Bay Village is not only a tourist destination.  It enjoys great community spirit, with on-site facilities for children and adults alike, and has a thriving community serviced by local restaurants and supermarkets. Escaping the hustle and bustle of city life is easy at Turtle Bay Village.
The time has now come to speak about our Thalassa Beach Resort & Spa project, which is probably the most successful of them all.
The largest and most prestigious beachfront development in North Cyprus offers the opportunity to purchase a realistically priced home in the Mediterranean.
Within this magnificent project, you will be able to find studio apartments, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom luxury apartments, and penthouses. In an unparalleled location with spectacular views of the Mediterranean, the layout of each apartment blends comfort with contemporary living, providing a uniquely comfortable, stylish, and convenient living environment.

🌍 What makes #Santorini as one of the best islands in #Greece 🇬🇷
and why it should be your next Beach 🏖 Holiday.
Santorini is traditional Greece 🇬🇷 at its very best while still offering a high level of cosmopolitanism that gives the island a head-turning advantage that attracts visitors from all over the world. Romantic and playful, family-friendly and everything in between, World Lifetime Journeys is on hand to help you discover why Santorini is one of the best Greek islands. 🌍
🌟 Prices from £350pp* for 7 Nights. Prices will vary according to your details and preferences
Any destinations in #Europe and beyond are available. Please ask
👉 1. One of the best Sunsets:
The legendary Santorini sunset is unlike any other evening show you’ve ever experienced – it truly has to be seen to be believed. With a volcanic past and a unique geological make-up, a caldera has been formed on the island which is a large cauldron-like hollow that forms shortly after the emptying of a magma chamber in a volcanic eruption. This steep-edged crater peeps above the waves, and the natural disaster has now become the cause for one of the world’s most spectacular sights from the island’s hilltops. Oia takes pride of place on the caldera, an opulent northern town which is undoubtedly the best place to view the sunset in all its glory. When the sky begins to dim, take a stroll along the cliff path which sits 700 feet above sea level and admire the cascade of oranges, pinks and lilacs as the sun seemingly begins to dip in the ocean and the twinkling stars slowly begin to gently illuminate the town. Or, indulge in a delicious meal between 5pm and 7pm at one of Oia’s traditional tavernas on the clifftop with the sunset as the perfect backdrop – a feast for all the senses.
👉 2. Black sand Beaches:
Black is the new yellow! Say goodbye to traditional talcum powder sands and make your Greek beach holiday one that you’ll never forget. Santorini, thanks to its volcanic past, boasts beaches with sands that vary in colour from burnt orange to black. These dramatic beaches are nothing short of paradise with tranquil seas bordered by striking backdrops of jagged cliffs which make them the perfectly picturesque locations for swimming and sunbathing. Kamari and Perissa are lined with some of the best stretches of sand on the island, with Blue Flag statuses and some that are perfect for watersports. Don’t forget to pack your flip-flops – the dark sands and the beaming summer heat means that the surface can get very hot in the midday sun.
👉 3. Diversity and mixed villages:
Each and every village in Santorini is as spectacular as the last so you can imagine it’s a difficult feat to choose where to reside. On the east coast, Kamari is one of the most popular places to stay and is the largest resort on the island. A busy cosmopolitan town, although the area doesn’t face the sunset, you’ll be able to keep yourself occupied from morning until night with the likes of the black-sand beaches, mini-golf, an open-air cinema and plenty of restaurants varying in cuisines including traditional Greek to exotic Thai. Perissa is also on the east of the island, and has more of a laidback atmosphere. This beachfront resort is where you come to forget your troubles, lay back on a hammock and simply soak up the sun. A motorised land train whisks guests along the seafront where the beach gets increasingly quiet, so a perfect piece of Perissa paradise can always be found.
Just 20-minutes away from Perissa and Kamari lies Thira, and here is where the fun truly begins. The Santorini capital is more centrally located, a melting pot of sights, smells and sounds with all the comforts and excitement that a large holiday town has to offer. Peruse the museums, art galleries and churches by day and take a ride on the cable car down to the old port, and by night, join the masses of visitors navigating the streets of Thira to enjoy laidback shisha bars, bustling clubs and live music venues. In the mood for utter opulence on your Santorini holiday? Oia ticks all the boxes – and then some. With streets paved with marble and lined with bespoke boutiques, contemporary restaurants and exclusive cocktail loungers, here is where you can expect to rub shoulders with the rich and famous and walk around the picturesque Ammoudi Bay as if you’re the star in your very own movie.
👉 4. Food and Drinks:
Everything about Santorini is utterly majestic and beautifully indulgent, and what’s more indulgent than food and wine? With calories not counting on holiday, Santorini’s exceptional wineries and the proximity to the water resulting in delicious fresh seafood, it’s a miracle if you spend any time of your getaway outside of the tavernas. For the widest range of restaurants and bars, head to Thira, the island’s capital. The bustling square and the vibrant caldera are where you’ll find some of your new favourite establishments, but don’t leave without trying some of the local wines. Asyrtiko, Athiri and Aidani are crisp, dry white wines and the three most-loved varieties, paired dreamily with the delectable cuisine on offer throughout the region. Head to a waterside taverna for the very best of Santorini’s fish and seafood dishes, showcasing the likes of lobster pasta, grilled octopus and lemony garlicky shrimp while fresh produce is always used to create dishes such as pomegranate salads and stuffed aubergines. Oh, and if you’re a true budding sommelier, Santo Winery is the place to be. Located just on the outskirts of Pyrgos, embark on a guided tour of the property before savouring some samples along with a platter of complimentary cheese and olives. Santo Winery is perched right at the top of the caldera, so you guessed it – try to visit during the early evening so you can sit on the terrace, split a bottle of your new-found favourite wine and watch the spectacular sunset view across the sparkling waters of the Aegean.
👉 5. Romantic Holiday:
Falling in love with Santorini is inevitable, so a holiday here is perfect for those seeking a romantic getaway. The beautiful backdrops and spine-tingling sunsets provide the ideal location for weddings, honeymoons and vow renewals, or simply to rekindle the love with your significant other. The Santo Winery we mentioned earlier? It’s not just a place to sip your favourite tipple, but it’s also brilliantly catered for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. Heartfelt vows can be exchanged in direct view of the stunning volcano and striking Aegean Sea and your guests can celebrate your nuptials by dancing the night away in the illuminating light of the fiery sunset. If your wedding party is slightly smaller, the gorgeous Irini Church can cater for up to 25 guests and is located on the cliff edge of Thira. Cherish your wedding photos forever as you tie the knot in the gorgeous courtyard which is abundant with magical archways, neck-craning steeples and breath-taking features. Santorini also boasts plenty of high-end boutique hotels with beautiful architecture in-keeping with the vibrant white and blue palette of the island. Adults-only options also aren’t hard to come by – Santorini Secret Suites & Spa, Carpe Diem Santorini and San Antonio Hotel are among some of the finest establishments around, perfect for a heavenly stay in the most elegant and relaxing settings.
Santorini isn’t just a holiday – it’s an experience. An utterly out-of-this-world island where dark-as-night shores and whitewashed towns meet a spine-tingling sunset and a vibrant atmosphere, this is one getaway that you won’t forget in a hurry. Whether you’re embarking on a romantic Grecian escape, a holiday with a touch of luxury, or even a spectacular wedding day organised down to every detail, World Lifetime Journeys is where all your desires will be fulfilled at just the click of a button.

Located in the warm Caribbean Sea, the island of Cuba is a major tourist destination, where Havana and Varadero, share almost half of the visitors who arrive each year. However there are other places that stand out, today I will show you how to travel to Holguin and what you will find in 2021. You will discover a region that has everything to satisfy the most diverse tastes: beautiful beaches, excellent hotels, biodiversity, history, culture, safety (childproof), and a friendly and polite population. That magical town is called Holguín, and it is located in the northeastern part of Cuba. Although it does not have the glamour of Havana, the history of Santiago de Cuba, or the exclusivity of the beaches of Varadero and Cayo Largo, little by little it has been positioning itself as the third most important Cuban tourist destination.
Tumblr media
Holguín Boulevard, one of the most popular sites in the city. Photo credit: Manuel de Nacimiento. According to the Statistical Yearbook of Holguín, published by the National Statistics and Information Office (ONEI), a total of 439,464 tourists travelled to Holguin in 2019. Let's close our eyes and take an imaginary journey through the region. This way you can find the answer to the question that gives this article its name. Related link: - Best rated experiences in Holguín - Get Your Guide. Interesting:On January 18, 1752, in the presence of all the neighbors the Marshal Arcos and Moreno made to record in order of date and years indicated that obeying to orders of the King of Spain he gave the title of City to San Isidoro de Holguín, being able to enjoy in front of all the privileges, honors and proper franchises of these institutions.
Travel to Holguin: how to get there
Frank País International Airport is only 10 kilometers from the city, and also has a terminal for domestic flights to Havana and Santiago de Cuba. Built in 1996, it is considered a medium-sized airport, capable of handling a flow of up to 1,000 incoming and outgoing passengers. In 2020, the runway was resurfaced to receive large aircraft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkhEXpJvJ84 It offers car rental services, cafeterias, travel agencies, medical and currency exchange services, specialized services for the handicapped, duty free stores and VIP lounge. A total of 13 airlines connect Holguín with cities in all continents except Asia and Africa. Among them are: Jet Blue, Air Canada, Arkefly, Belair, Blue Panorama, Condor, Monarch, and Neos. To get to the main city, cabs are readily available at a cost of approximately 15 USD. But if you are a sailor in search of adventure, Holguín offers you the Marina Internacional Puerto de Vita. This port, located only 40 kilometers from the city, has 38 berths and all the necessary amenities. It is also the starting point for catamaran excursions, fishing trips, diving and jet ski rides.
Tumblr media
Loma de la Cruz, in Holguín, is a viewpoint of important tourist interest.
Holguin, the City of Parks
The existence of more than 70 parks in the perimeter of the city has earned it that title and is the first thing you will notice when you travel to Holguin. Although if you ask any Cuban, or a foreigner who knows the city well, he or she will surely tell you that its main distinguishing feature, besides the Loma de la Cruz, is the cleanliness and straightness of its streets. They will also tell you that in spite of the distance that separates it from the capital, its inhabitants are lovers of good art and that they have the privilege of having one of the three Lyric Theaters of Cuba, the famous Rodrigo Prats, one of the best dance companies, Codanza, and the Chamber Ballet of Holguín. So, if you wish to enjoy lyrical singing, contemporary dance or ballet, in Holguín you will not lack options. The presentations take place mainly in the beautiful Eddy Suñol Theater and in the different hotels of the northern coast.
Tumblr media
The city's ancient architecture is one of its greatest charms. However, if your thing is not classic, don't worry, we also have Discotheques, Cabarets, Bars, Cafes and Night Clubs. The city's nights are very lively, especially between Friday and Sunday. Names such as El Nocturno and Bariay, open-air cabarets in the style of the world-famous Tropicana, as well as El Pétalo, Shambalá, El Benny, Pico Cristal, El Siboney, Jazz Club, Piano Bar or Las Tres Lucias, are widely known nationwide. There are cultural events that have acquired international renown: the May Pilgrimages and the Vladimir Malakhov Dance Competition and Grand Prix of the North Atlantic. Related link: - Top 5 experiences in Holguín - Get Your Guide. - What to do in Holguín - Vigorous Ways.
Tumblr media
The Romerías de Mayo is an important traditional popular festival. The Romerías are celebrated at the beginning of May, and although originally a religious festivity, they have become an international Youth Festival. Concerts, street theater, photographic exhibitions and works of art, dance shows, and poetry are continuously happening during a fun week. Moreover, since 2014, the famous Ukrainian dancer Vladimir Malakhov (First Dancer and Director of the Berlin Opera Ballet), has established together with the local dance company Codanza, an International Ballet and Dance Competition that attracts numerous visitors from abroad and from other cities of the island. This year, it will be held in September, albeit virtually due to the presence of COVID 19.
Gastronomy, Habanos and cycle tourism on your travel to Holguin
Tumblr media
Hotel Iberostar Selection is a popular accommodation in Holguín. Gastronomy in Holguin To taste the local flavors, the city has about 30 restaurants that offer delicious dishes of Creole and international cuisine. Prices range from 10 to 20 USD in private establishments. Keep in mind that 1 U.S. dollar is currently traded in the informal market for 50 Cuban pesos.Tweet State-owned establishments are more economical, although they generally have less variety and quality in their offerings. Payment is made in local currency. Based on Tripadvisor surveys, popular opinion, and my personal experience, I have compiled a list of the 10 best restaurants in Holguin in 2020: - Restaurante Bar 1910 - La Pasión - Delicias Cubanas - Ranchón Los Almendros - Maragato - Restaurante Bar Parrillada San José - La Torre - La Bodeguita del Medio - Avilés - Noi Due https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aubiEDB5LPM Habanos Cigars in Holguin Inhaling the smoke of the famous Cuban cigars can be harmful, but it is the ambition of many tourists. In Holguín, it is possible to visit an important cigar factory located in the center of the city. In addition to seeing how they are manufactured, you can also buy them at advantageous prices. There is no shortage of major brands: Cohiba, Romeo y Julieta, Montecristo, Partagás and Hoyo de Monterrey. The factory produces 16 million units annually and uses as raw material the leaves harvested in Pinar del Rio, the mecca of Havana cigars. Related link: - Top 5 experiences in Holguín - Get Your Guide. - What to do in Holguín - Vigorous Ways. Cycling when you travel to Holguin A tourist sport activity that has developed rapidly in the region is bicycle tourism. The well-asphalted road that links Holguín with the seaside resort of Guardalavaca guarantees a safe trip full of beautiful landscapes. The 54 kilometers of mostly straight and flat roads lead to the paradisiacal beaches of the north-eastern coast, famous for their white sands, warm waters and all-inclusive hotels.
Tumblr media
The beautiful Pesquero Beach should be one of the places you cannot miss on your trip to Holguín. The town of Sao Arriba is located just 11 kilometers from the start of the trip. If you are passionate about mountain biking, you will find trails and paths that cross the picturesque region: hills, rivers, caves, pure nature. After traveling the first 30 kilometers, and always turning off to the left side of the road, we will first find Playa Blanca, famous for witnessing the arrival of Admiral Christopher Columbus to Cuba, Don Lino, Vita Bay, Playa Pesquero, Naranjo Bay, and Playa Esmeralda.
Beaches and All Inclusive Hotels in Holguin
If there is something that differentiates hotels in Holguín from those in the rest of the country, it is the quality of service. Professionalism, responsibility and experience are evident as soon as you arrive: speed, command of several foreign languages, friendliness and empathy towards the client. You can choose among the 14 hotels that serve the region's beaches. Four of them are 5-star hotels: Paradisus Rio de Oro (for couples only), Playa Pesquero (the largest hotel in Cuba), the brand-new Iberostar Selection and the recently built Hotel Almirante. The rest are 4 stars except Villa Don Lino with 3 stars.
Tumblr media
Hotel Paradisus Rios de Oro, in Holguin, Cuba. Interesting:With a cost of only 2.00 USD per pax, and three daily frequencies, comfortable buses travel between the different hotels, Guardalavaca, La Aldea Taina, and the Naranjo Bay Dolphinarium. A must visit site is the Aboriginal Cemetery and the Taino Village. There you can discover our pre-Columbian history in a museum located on the remains of an ancient indigenous cemetery. It exhibits 56 of the 180 skeletons found to date. The village recreates the environment of an aboriginal tribe from 5 centuries ago: dwellings, 38 human sculptures, work tools, recreational objects, clothing, etc. Are you bored spending all your time at the hotel? No problem, the different Travel Agencies propose excursions through sales points in each establishment. Don't forget that the province has a total of 17 protected natural areas, including two national parks: Bahía de Naranjo and La Mensura.
Tumblr media
Jeep Safari Adventour is one of the best-selling excursions. These are 10 of the most popular excursions: - Jeep Safari Adventour - Crucero del Sol - Catamarán Gibara - Cayo Saetía en Catamarán - Baño con Delfines en el Acuario Bahía de Naranjo - Cayo Bariay - Aldea Taina - Island Paradise - Ocean Paradise - Jeep Safari Salto del Guayabo. These and other excursions may be available through Get Your Guide, a secure site where you can book quality experiences.
Tumblr media
Although we are discovering the beach hotels, it is worth mentioning that there are three very good hotels in the city, located in old and centrally located buildings that have been very well restored: El Caballeriza, Esmeralda, and El Saratoga. The latter was inaugurated in 2020. Private accommodations are also a good option, but this will be the subject of another article. We hope you already know why it is worth taking as you travel to Holguin‼. Read the full article

The Cosy Edition: 20 hotels with fabulous fireplaces
From wood-burning stoves to roaring mantels, moments of relaxation don’t get much better than sitting beside an open fireplace with your tipple of choice. Here are some of our favourite cosy corners to warm up in and while away a winter’s day…
Storfjord, Skodje – Norway
Tumblr media
With an open fireplace at every turn, including the lounge, dining room, and suites, this secluded woodland retreat lives up to its log cabin look and Scandinavian folktale feel. The scent of timber hangs in the air at Storfjord, while a calming combination of traditional Norwegian features and über-modern design, with a soothing palette, snug corners, and carefully selected art and antiques awaits guests inside. For spellbinding views over the fjords, make yourself comfortable on the outdoor patio complete with a Viking-esque pan-fire.
Susafa, Sicily – Italy
Tumblr media
This 200-year old Sicilian farmhouse is a taste of rustic simplicity at its best. Exposed brick and beams, oversized blown glass lamps, and weathered wooden furniture make up the lived-in luxury feel of Susafa‘s interiors. Sample some of the estate’s organic produce beside the spacious open fire in the bar, including fresh ravioli, homemade tomato sauce, olive oil, cherry jam, and sommelier-selected wines.
Cordée des Alpes Hotel, Verbier – Switzerland
Tumblr media
A warm welcome awaits every guest at Cordée des Alpes Hotel, a stylish wooden ski lodge which has been thoughtfully designed to integrate with the surrounding alpine architecture. Step inside the chalet-inspired reception to a crackling fireplace, decorated with vintage skis. Many of the rooms and suites come with their own hearths, including the Prestige Suites and Cordelette Penthouse, to let your muscles thaw after a day on the slopes.
The Fish Hotel, Cotswolds – UK
Tumblr media
This village-style collection of houses, huts and hideaways set within the 400-acre Farncombe Estate is made for cosy Cotswolds getaways. Classic country styling meets pared-back, Scandi chic design at The Fish Hotel, with quaint wood-burning stoves in most of the huts and suites, and roaring fires in the lounge and Nest areas to enjoy with a post-walk hot chocolate in hand.
Foxhill Manor, Cotswolds – UK
Tumblr media
Another member of the Farncombe family, Foxhill Manor is a charming home-from-home with a ‘whatever you fancy, whenever you fancy’ motto. For some serious indulgence, opt for The Oak Suite, which comes with twin free-standing bath tubs overlooking rolling Cotswolds hills towards the post-card worthy Broadway Village, and a snug lounge area facing a feature fireplace.
Ett Hem, Stockholm – Sweden
Tumblr media
The whole concept of this Scandinavian bolthole is perfectly summed up by the translation of Ett Hem – ‘at home’ – which welcomes guests into its warm embrace of informal elegance. Make yourself at home beside the flickering fire in the eclectically styled lounge of this Arts and Crafts townhouse, or retreat to one of the Junior Suites complete with four-poster beds and their own period fireplaces. The low-key luxury continues through to the Ett Hem Suite, which features a marble bath tub and tiled stove for maximum warmth and comfort.
Le Refuge de la Traye, Méribel – France
Tumblr media
Taking inspiration from classic Savoie design, the eco-luxury chalets of Le Refuge de la Traye are dotted about a miniature hamlet hidden away in the Alps. After a day on the famous slopes of Les 3 Vallées, hang up your boots and relax by the fireplace with a glass of fine Savoyard wine or a locally inspired cocktail.
Castle Hot Springs, Arizona – USA
Tumblr media
An oasis of calm surrounded by the sepia-hued slopes of the Bradshaw Mountains, Castle Hot Springs fuses its early-20th-century glamour with an off-grid ethos of farm-to-fork dining and back-to-nature exploring. Take a dip in the bubbling thermal springs known for their healing mineral waters by day, and watch the desert sky come alive each night from one of the resort’s open fireplaces, or the expansive private decks of the Sky View Cabins, equipped with a telescope and outdoor tub ready to be filled with hot spring water.
Villa La Madonna, Piedmont – Italy
Tumblr media
An effortless blend of sophisticated styling and the authentic influences – open hearths, exposed-brick ceilings and handpicked furniture – Villa La Madonna makes the most of its enviable location in the Bormida Valley. Verdant hills and vineyards surround this slow-living retreat, while the Alps are only two hours to the north, and the Italian Riviera one hour to the south.
Boutique Hotel Wachtelhof, Hinterthal Maria Alm – Austria
Tumblr media
With a fireplace in almost every room of Boutique Hotel Wachtelhof, this ski-in ski-out alpine hideaway is filled with intimate spots to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. If you can tear yourself away from the warming interiors, a winter wonderland of powder covered slopes, hiking trails and back country adventures awaits.
Stein Eriksen Residences, Utah – USA
Tumblr media
Wrap-around windows framing mountain views. Soaring ceilings and crackling fires. Fire pits, grills and hot tubs for al fresco evenings spent in the peaks. Stein Eriksen Residences are striking ski retreats that make the absolute best of their breathtaking setting. Being able to ski straight in and out from your hotel to some of the world’s best powder is the icing on the cake.
Grand Forest Metsovo, Metsovo – Greece
Tumblr media
A secluded hideaway above Metsovo town, this boutique hotel is your gateway to one of northern Greece’s best-kept secrets. In winter, skiers can head to nearby Anilio, before returning to a cosy nook beside a fireplace at Grand Forest Metsovo overlooking the Pindos peaks. Dine at altitude at the Metsovo 1350M restaurant – high up on the mountainside, the sublime backdrop is accompanied by tempting plates of Epirus specialities from local producers.
Eichardt’s Private Hotel, Queenstown – New Zealand
Tumblr media
With the best spot on the shores of mountain-backed Lake Wakatipu, Eichardt’s Private Hotel is both sleekly designed and serenely placed. Each suite and apartment frames awe-inspiring lake or mountain views, and balances antique furnishings with contemporary style notes. For peak privacy, choose The Residence – while The Penthouse boasts the best views in the house, along with its own outdoor grill.
Hotel Haven, Helsinki – Finland
Tumblr media
Calming colours meet bold, patterned furnishings at Hotel Haven, a sleek city sanctuary just a stone’s throw from the capital’s Market Place, picturesque harbour, and Art Nouveau buildings. Downstairs, the snug fire and armchairs make the lobby ideal for relaxing with coffee and a paper.
Hotel Firefly, Zermatt – Switzerland
Tumblr media
This all-suite refuge at the foot of the Matterhorn offers a contemporary take on the traditional alpine lodge, surrounded by the soaring peaks of the Valais Alps. Hotel Firefly is home to just 16 spacious suites – all individually decorated to reflect the elements of fire, earth, water and air. Many take this elemental inspiration further, with open fires encased in glass, and balconies for taking in the mountain air.
Hotel de Orangerie, Bruges – Belgium
Tumblr media
Engravings, tapestries, silk-lined curtains and antiques infuse this former 500 year-old convent with nostalgic charm. Get cosy in the oak-panelled dining room at Hotel de Orangerie, then settle down by the open fire with a pot of fresh coffee – or a sparkling aperitif.
Trout Point Lodge, Nova Scotia – Canada
Tumblr media
Surrounded by swathes of forestland in the wilds of Nova Scotia, Trout Point Lodge provides the perfect mix of luxury in its remote setting. Reflecting its environment with furniture made from the saplings, burls and branches taken from the site when the lodge was built, the deep porches, hand-cut stone fire places and wood burning stoves are designed with eco-friendliness in mind.
Les Manoirs des Portes de Deauville, Canapville – France
Tumblr media
Circled by six acres of sublime gardens, Les Manoirs des Portes de Deauville is only a short drive to the Normandy coast and the seaside town of Deauville. Dotted across the beautifully restored Norman manor house and nine cottages, rooms and suites contrast crisp white and pastel tones with original fireplaces and exposed wooden beams. Curl up with an apple tasting platter beside the fireplace in The Great Lounge, washed down with some of the region’s famous calvados (apple brandy).
Schlosshotel Kronberg, Kronberg – Germany
Tumblr media
Built in 1893, Schlosshotel Kronberg was originally home to Empress Victoria Friedrich, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria. Step inside a grandiose hall with an imposing fireplace and antique furniture all around, many of which belonged to the Empress herself. History decorates the walls of this elegant castle – expect to discover original paintings by Rubens, Titian and Gainsborough.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Jan. 21, 2020) – Disneyland Resort will debut its all-new “Magic Happens” parade at Disneyland Park on Feb. 28, 2020. The incredible “Magic Happens” daytime spectacular celebrates the awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories. This new parade, led by Mickey Mouse and his pals, celebrates moments of magic from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios films as they are brought to life on a grand scale with stunning floats, artistic costumes and a surprising and energetic musical score combined with beloved Disney tunes.
“When you come to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, there are so many ways to immerse yourself in our stories, but a parade is a unique experience because it’s the only way for you, as the audience, to stay in one place and have so many stories, characters and magical moments pass right in front of you,” said David Duffy, creative director for Disney Live Entertainment. “We’ve designed the ‘Magic Happens’ floats so that characters, scenes and surprises are revealed a little at a time, making each float a journey of discovery.”
“Magic Happens” includes something for everyone and will be enjoyed by guests of all ages. This new parade features nine newly designed floats, highlighting magic from classic Walt Disney Animation Studios tales such as “The Sword in the Stone,” “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty,” to more recent stories including “Frozen 2,” “Moana” and “The Princess and the Frog,” as well as Disney and Pixar’s “Coco.” The new floats were created as pieces of moving art, with their lines and aesthetic design working to tell a story along the parade route, while also evoking a sense of magic.
“This parade celebrates the way magic affects both the characters in the stories and the guests who are watching,” says Jordan Peterson, show director for Disney Live Entertainment. “‘Magic Happens’ is like a love letter to those special transformative moments.”

Las Vegas, Nevada
The Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of South Las Vegas Boulevard in Clark County, Nevada that is known for its concentration of resort hotels and casinos. The Strip is approximately 4.2 miles (6.8 km) in length, located immediately south of the Las Vegas city limits in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester. However, the Strip is often referred to as being in Las Vegas. Many of the largest hotel, casino, and resort properties in the world are located on the Las Vegas Strip. The road’s cityscape is highlighted by its use of contemporary architecture, lights and wide variety of attractions. Its hotels, casinos, restaurants, residential high-rises, entertainment offerings, and skyline have established the Las Vegas Strip as one of the most popular and iconic tourist destinations in the United States, and the world. Most of the Strip has also been designated an All-American Road, and is considered a scenic route at night. Historically, the casinos that were not in Downtown Las Vegas along Fremont Street were limited to outside the city limits on Las Vegas Boulevard. In 1959, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign was constructed exactly 4.5 miles (7.2 km) outside the city limits. The sign is today located in the median just south of Russell Road, across from the now-demolished Klondike Hotel & Casino, about 0.4 miles (0.64 km) south of the southernmost entrance to Mandalay Bay (the southernmost casino). In the strictest sense, "the Strip" refers only to the stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard that is roughly between Sahara Avenue and Russell Road, a distance of 4.2 miles (6.8 km). However, the term is often used to refer not only to the road but also to the various casinos and resorts that line the road, and even to properties that are not on the road but in proximity. Phrases such as Strip Area, Resort Corridor or Resort District are sometimes used to indicate a larger geographical area, including properties 1 mile (1.6 km) or more away from Las Vegas Boulevard, such as the Hard Rock, Rio, Palms, and Hooters casinos. A long-standing definition considers the Strip’s northern terminus as the SLS, though travel guides typically extend it to include the Stratosphere, 0.4 miles (0.64 km) to the north. Mandalay Bay, located just north of Russell Road, is the southernmost resort considered to be on the Strip (the Klondike was the southernmost until 2006, when it was closed, although it was not included in Las Vegas Strip on some definitions and travel guides). Because of the number and size of the resorts, the Resort Corridor can be quite wide. Interstate 15 runs roughly parallel and 0.5 to 0.8 miles (0.80 to 1.29 km) to the west of Las Vegas Boulevard for the entire length of the Strip. Paradise Road runs to the east in a similar fashion, and ends at St. Louis Avenue. The eastern side of the Strip is bounded by McCarran International Airport south of Tropicana Avenue. North of this point, the Resort Corridor can be considered to extend as far east as Paradise Road, although some consider Koval Lane as a less inclusive boundary. Interstate 15 is sometimes considered the western edge of the Resort Corridor from Interstate 215 to Spring Mountain Road. North of this point, Industrial Road serves as the western edge. Newer resorts such as South Point and the M Resort are on Las Vegas Boulevard South as distant as 8 miles south of the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign. Marketing for these casinos usually states that they are on southern Las Vegas Boulevard and not "Strip" properties. The first casino to be built on Highway 91 was the Pair-o-Dice Club in 1931, but the first on what is currently the Strip was the El Rancho Vegas, opening on April 3, 1941, with 63 rooms. That casino stood for almost 20 years before being destroyed by a fire in 1960. Its success spawned a second hotel on what would become the Strip, the Hotel Last Frontier, in 1942. Organized crime figures such as New York’s Bugsy Siegel took interest in the growing gaming center leading to other resorts such as the Flamingo, which opened in 1946, and the Desert Inn, which opened in 1950. The funding for many projects was provided through the American National Insurance Company, which was based in the then notorious gambling empire of Galveston, Texas.

Las Vegas Boulevard South was previously called Arrowhead Highway, or Los Angeles Highway. The Strip was named by Los Angeles police officer and businessman Guy McAfee, after his hometown’s Sunset Strip. Caesars Palace was established in 1966. In 1968, Kirk Kerkorian purchased the Flamingo and hired Sahara Hotels Vice President Alex Shoofey as President. Alex Shoofey brought along 33 of Sahara’s top executives. The Flamingo was used to train future employees of the International Hotel, which was under construction. Opening in 1969, the International Hotel, with 1,512 rooms, began the era of mega-resorts. The International is known as Westgate Las Vegas today. The first MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, also a Kerkorian property, opened in 1973 with 2,084 rooms. At the time, this was one of the largest hotels in the world by number of rooms. The Rossiya Hotel built in 1967 in Moscow, for instance, had 3,200 rooms; however, most of the rooms in the Rossiya Hotel were single rooms of 118 sq. ft (roughly 1/4 size of a standard room at the MGM Grand Resort). On November 21, 1980, the MGM Grand suffered the worst resort fire in the history of Las Vegas as a result of electrical problems, killing 87 people. It reopened eight months later. In 1986, Kerkorian sold the MGM Grand to Bally Manufacturing, and it was renamed Bally’s. The Wet ‘n Wild water park opened in 1985 and was located on the south side of the Sahara hotel. The park closed at the end of the 2004 season and was later demolished. The opening of The Mirage in 1989 set a new level to the Las Vegas experience, as smaller hotels and casinos made way for the larger mega-resorts. The Rio and the Excalibur opened in 1990. These huge facilities offer entertainment and dining options, as well as gambling and lodging. This change affected the smaller, well-known and now historic hotels and casinos, like The Dunes, The Sands, the Stardust, and the Sahara. The lights along the Strip have been dimmed in a sign of respect to six performers and one other major Las Vegas figure upon their deaths. They are Elvis Presley (1977), Sammy Davis Jr. (1990), Dean Martin (1995), George Burns (1996), Frank Sinatra (1998), former UNLV basketball head coach Jerry Tarkanian (2015), and Don Rickles (2017). The Strip lights were dimmed later in 2017 as a memorial to victims of a mass shooting at a concert held adjacent to the Strip.[15] In 2005, Clark County renamed a section of Industrial Road (south of Twain Avenue) as Dean Martin Drive, also as a tribute to the famous Rat Pack singer, actor, and frequent Las Vegas entertainer. In an effort to attract families, resorts offered more attractions geared toward youth, but had limited success. The (current) MGM Grand opened in 1993 with MGM Grand Adventures Theme Park, but the park closed in 2000 due to lack of interest. Similarly, in 2003 Treasure Island closed its own video arcade and abandoned the previous pirate theme, adopting the new ti name. In addition to the large hotels, casinos and resorts, the Strip is home to a few smaller casinos and other attractions, such as M&M World, Adventuredome and the Fashion Show Mall. Starting in the mid-1990s, the Strip became a popular New Year’s Eve celebration destination. Recent years (2000–present)

Gondolas outside of The Venetian. With the opening of Bellagio, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn and Encore resorts, the strip trended towards the luxurious high end segment through most of the 2000s, while some older resorts added major expansions and renovations, including some de-theming of the earlier themed hotels. High end dining, specialty retail, spas and nightclubs increasingly became options for visitors in addition to gambling at most Strip resorts. There was also a trend towards expensive residential condo units on the strip. In 2004, MGM Mirage announced plans for CityCenter, a 66-acre (27 ha), $7 billion multi-use project on the site of the Boardwalk hotel and adjoining land. It consists of hotel, casino, condo, retail, art, business and other uses on the site. City Center is currently the largest such complex in the world. Construction began in April 2006, with most elements of the project opened in late 2009. Also in 2006, the Las Vegas Strip lost its longtime status as the world’s highest-grossing gambling center, falling to second place behind Macau. In 2012, the High Roller Ferris wheel and a retail district called The LINQ Promenade broke ground, in an attempt to diversify attractions beyond that of casino resorts. Renovations and rebrandings such as The Cromwell Las Vegas and the SLS Las Vegas continued to transform The Strip in 2014. The Las Vegas Festival Grounds opened in 2015. In 2016, the T-Mobile Arena, The Park, the Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino, and the Park Theatre opened. Smaller changes and developments are taking place as well. On October 1, 2017, a mass shooting occurred on the Strip at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, adjacent to the Mandalay Bay hotel. This incident became the deadliest mass shooting in modern United States history.

Most Recommended north cyprus Properties
In this article, we have collected some of the most desirable and recommended houses that we and other companies are offering in North Cyprus.
Thalassa Beach Resort enjoys gardens and a peaceful private beach has a wide variety of facilities including swimming pools, restaurant, bar, beach bar, water slides, Spa with massage center, gym, and sauna; along with some unique features that ensure its recognition as a high-class residence.  Thalassa is an established resort with Phase I apartments nearly all sold and is also a big community with the feeling of a family.  Phase II gets underway in 2022!
If any of our projects take your interest, we are always available for you!
