I'm also redrawing Cosmask's ref because I didn't like the previous one (especially the Krill-inspired horns).

Another thing: I really like the bioecosystem? (I THINK that's what you call em) within Iterator cans so I drew a bit of concept art of more iterator can purposed organisms.

Catalysts are very important purposed organisms that create special enzymes within the Iterator can. (If mutated/infected with Rot, the Catalyst will self-destruct to prevent further spread of the pathogen. (Basically just giant Ribosomes really)). It's design is sorta based off ATP synthases.

Enzymes (like the word's definition) restore previous lost data in neuron flies and repair them of ailments. (Essentially just speeding up recovery as well as other processes within the neuron fly).

To this day I STILL don't know what the little worm things are called within Memory Conflux 😭

Rain World Repurposed - FIVE PEBBLES

In this universe, Five Pebbles was already heavily infected by the rot very early in the timeline. His situation was as bad as in Rivulet's campaign when Wind visited his superstructure (Note that this happened a bit after Moon had fallen).

When Chasing Wind visited his superstructure, all he saw was the rot taking over his entire can and even into his puppet chamber. Inside the puppet chamber, Pebbles was already being eaten alive by the rot on the floor. Wind quickly rescued him and immediately tries to reverse the effect of the rot on him and rushed Pebbles to his can.

Once they arrived, Wind put Pebbles in a cryogenic tube to slow down the infection. After finding out that most of Pebbles' internal puppet organs have been eaten by the rot Wind decided to reverse engineer the rot's effect, and instead of it killing Pebbles, the rot would become a part of Pebbles, sustaining him and replacing his organs.

Once the repurposing surgery was done, Pebbles woke up to be infused with rot itself. At first, he was enraged and begged Wind to remove the rot from him. But Wind explained that the rot has consumed almost every part of his body and removing it would cost Pebbles his functionality, making him disabled for life.

It took a while before Pebbles could adjust to his new rotting body. Now he needed to consume food like any other creature to stay functional due to the rot. Because of the rot, he was also weak to cold temperatures, forcing him to wear warm clothing to maintain his body heat.

As time went on, however, Pebbles were finally adjusting well to his new body and was able to control the rot's abilities to an extent:

He's capable of devouring food from his mouth, a quirk that the rot added to his biology. He's a picky eater as he doesn't like fruits and vegetables and only likes to eat meat, so he's a carnivore. He also has tongues allowing him to ease food into his mouth.

He's able to summon tendrils from his entire body and use them for multiple reasons. From mobility, holding, throwing, extendable limbs, armor, and many more. He grew quite fond of these abilities, despite disliking them at first.

He's capable of controlling other kinds of rot by either devouring them or fusing with them. Yes, he's becoming the great mind of the rots that he's in touch with.

He's capable of infecting other purpose organisms with his rot. Turning them into a zombie-like parasite that listens to his will. Listens to the will of the ROT.

There are many things that haven't been researched yet about what he's capable of with his rotting body, however, as time goes on Pebbles will find out what inhumane quirks he will unlock by simply CONSUMING.
