Chi la fa l'aspetti. Chi danneggia gli altri deve aspettarsi risposte e reazioni dello stesso tipo. Il proverbio "Chi di spada ferisce, di spada perisce", che deriva direttamente dal latino "Qui gladio ferit gladio perit" esprime lo stesso concetto. Il male che farai verrà fatto poi a te. Mi piace/Mi piacciono The verb "piacere" means “to like”. Its conjugation (Presente Indicativo) is the following: Io piaccio Tu piaci Lui/Lei piace Noi piaciamo Voi piacete Loro piacciono You’ve surely understood that’s an irregular verb so you should learn it and there’s not a logical way to conjugate it. But it also has a peculiarity. In English, for example, we say "I like coffee", the literal Italian translation of this sentence would be "Io piaccio caffè" but this sentence doesn’t make any sense. The right translation of this sentence is "Mi piace il caffè" or "A me piace il caffè". So, if we want to say that we like something we should say: A me piace (mi*piace) A te piace (ti*piace) A lui/A lei piace (gli/le*piace) A noi piace (ci*piace) A voi piace (vi*piace) A loro piace (gli*piace) + singular noun (one person/one thing…) or + infinitive verb and A me piacciono (mi*piacciono) A te piacciono (ti*piacciono) A lui/A lei piacciono (gli/le*piacciono) A noi piacciono (ci*piacciono) A voi piacciono (vi*piacciono) A loro piacciono (gli*piacciono) + plural noun (more than one person, more than one thing etc.) Examples: A me piace ballare (“I like dancing”) A me piace il gelato (“I like ice cream”) A me piacciono i gatti (“I like cats”) #piacere #piacersi #verbiitaliani #italianverbs #grammarlesson #grammarlesson #corsoditalianoonline #corsoditalianoperstranieri #everydayitalian #italianstyle #corsoditalianoonline #italianol2 #italiano #welovetospeakitaliano 👆iscriviti adesso👆

Literal translations are like a slippery banana peel on a language learner’s path to fluency! Think of it like this: translating word for word from your native language is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. It just doesn’t work! You need to learn the unique shape and style of the language you’re learning, just like you need to find the right shape and size of the puzzle piece to complete the picture. I’ve compiled a list of expressions using FARE, PRENDERE, and AVERE to guide you. Look it over, familiarize yourself with the particular usages, and check out some idiomatic expressions using these verbs. Start reading and listening more in Italian; soon, your ear will recognize these expressions, which will start sounding more natural. And hey, if you slip on a grammatical “banana peel,” remember language learning is a journey, so just pick yourself up and keep going! #ItalianGrammar #ItalianExpressions #StudentessaMatta #ItalianConversation #Fare #Prendere #Avere #ItalianVerbs #ExpressYourselfinItalian #ItalianLearningTips #ItalianCommunication #FaSenso #AvereFame #PrendersiInGiro #PrendereSole #Fareunafoto https://www.instagram.com/p/CpxpnSaMNTC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
