can we just take a moment to appreciate this micro expression from ronen here, where you can see how TK's mind is reeling and his thoughts are spiraling in his head.. he wasn't fully present for a hot second.. and you can tell just from the rapid blinking and the eyebrow raise, the deep breath, the rapid change in expression.. ronen is so good when it comes down to those micro expressions, he does it with such nuance that conveys intricate details about certain emotions with just a single understated glance. i love watching him BEING tk, because he doesn't perform, he rather transforms and it's sublime!!

@catilinas I am reading this tag analysis on the Oedipus post like 👀👀👀 and wANT TO HEAR MORE because

1.) The discrepancies between the version of events in CQL that we see unfold as viewers in real time and the version we get from NMJ during the Empathy sequence are a constant subject of rumination for me, and they're yet another example of seeing JGY through not one but two sets of filters, and NMJ's version of events is the last we see, and thus forms our lasting impression, but it's so far removed from the originals you don't even realize how much they've omitted unless you watch them back-to-back. Meanwhile, Tiresias's account is one of the first things we hear, but it colors everything that comes after it because We All Know The Story, the characters themselves fixate on it, and everything unfolds more or less in real time so we the viewers don't have time to forget anything and never got to see Oedipus or Jocasta or Laius outside of this moment.

2.) something something JGY claims that someone tried/ is trying to harm him every time he's confronted, and Oedipus accuses Creon of plotting to overthrow him

3.) what if "JGY lives" AU in the style of Oedipus at Colonus

jiao liqiao and xiangyi were literally talking about the bicha poison in ep 27 but fang duoubing heard NONE of it at that time his thoughts were filled with the revelation that the person he had been looking for all these years was right in front of him

Due to a past attempt at his own life when he was younger and in mourning of his step-father, Jackson has a deep-seated fear of drowning and being submerged in deep waters. He reveals his fear but not the reason for it before going into the Submersible and asks to switch with a different party member.

He can be persuaded but it'll require a DC 30 roll and can result in a high disapproval from both him and Johanne if treated dismissively about it. If switched, he will give 4 potions of water breathing for luck and will be in the Elfsong Tavern where he'll tell you the reason of his fear.

If resurrected in camp because he died in the Iron Throne, he will be distant for a while until a long rest interaction in the Elfsong Tavern where you can either apologize and make it up to him, or continue to dismiss his fear.

Maybe it's my daddy issues, or maybe my strong strong attraction to dorky men, but like....Max...from the lost boys? The video store owner?? Max???

this (meaning your recent jc post) has always been my problem with how ppl interpret that scene, and how it would "change everything" because in the guanyin temple jc also protects wwx and all wwx thinks of it is "that was impulsive and dumb" like he doesnt all of a sudden think the world of jc and this is when that would have more of an impact on wwx's perception of jc bc it was more recent and was more indicative of present jc then something he did over 15 years ago, and jc’s sacrifice 1/2

If not for him leaving Jin GuangYao with a chance for a sneak attack due to his own unstable emotions, he wouldn’t have landed in the enemy’s hands either. On top of that, in reality, Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi could’ve completely dodged the attack on their own. Even though, right now, Lan WangJi had no spiritual powers and Wei WuXian’s were low to begin with, their skills were still there. They couldn’t attack, but they were still able to dodge. Clumsily, Jin Ling was trying to speak for his uncle, yet the deliberation made the situation even more awkward.

jc protecting wwx in guanyin temple is the exact same scenario as distracting the wens. wwx has no reaction to it, it doesn't change how he sees jc. the whole thing is very awkward

later on in guanyin temple,
