Quick pause from going through the Silm Daily tag to say: I nominate this for one of the saddest, most chilling parts of the book

The idea of Maedhros knowing the Noldor are so near him, only to have the very clamor that brings him hope drown out his cries for help is horrifying

Okay, by now we've all seen that there are split opinions about what's happening but what I don't understand is how there are some people out there justifying the murder of so many people.
