When I think about this whole situation I think about the fact that more effort went into finding the corpses of first and second class passengers. How the majority of the first and second class passangers actually survived because they were literally higher up on the ship. And then I think of all the power and resources and the over 10 vessels and 4 government agencies. And then I remember the ship of immigrants that had 750 people on it when it was capsized by the Greece costal guard by the way. And how 500 of them are missing and how some of them could still be alive. And then I see the over ten ships and four profoundly important government agencies working on finding these dead rich people. And I remember that time is a flat circle and we are not the priority

I’m languishing in all of the Andor parallels. Presently it’s Luthen who has made his mind “a sunless place”, he says, as he speaks to Jung in the very deepest levels of Coruscant where the sun never penetrates ...versus Maarva who’s already built a place that the Empire cannot ruin where the sun shines for her: “I’m already there. That place is in my head. They can build as many barracks as they like, they’ll never find me.” 

For every Luthen who lives in the dark, there are a few people out there now who live in the light of hope even whilst living under Imperial occupation. (It’s also been sunnier on Ferrix lately!)

It’s really funny how comic fans go out of their way in fan content to make Charles Xavier a great dad, despite being one of the worst fathers in marvel comics that is also a hero. Like that man essentially locked his son in a basement and only hauled him out and dusted him off when he needed a plot device/deus ex machina.

I have a lot of feelings and 90% of them are on the rage spectrum.

Still stuck on how Aziraphale ate that meat like he was starving. Like he’d been starved for millennia, and he hadn’t even known it, because he’d never once been fed. But we know they don’t have to eat (nor sleep, etc.), so what he’d been starved for is pleasure. Being present in his body, feeling the joys and longings it could feel. Understanding what taste buds were made for. He hadn’t known; he’d never learned to miss it.

Now imagine what a kiss has done to him.

This panel is so poignant in the manga but out of context it’s so funny to me. It sounds like dad Senshi judging Laios and giving him a crash course on masking
