I can’t sleep. Let’s talk about the four sacred top fives of 2022 as in top 5 gay movies, top 5 gay tv ships (or shows as whole), top 5 short gay movies and for the next one, let’s change it up a little bit and I’ll provide you with top 5 upcoming gay movies (2023) I’m looking forward to and are currently in the process of pre-production, production or post-production.
Top 5 Gay Movies of 2022
5. La Santa Piccola - very different from your usual gay movies, but the scenery is gorgerous and the story made me feel things
4. Badhaai Do - amazing queer representation in Indian Cinema, "gay guy and a lesbian woman enter into holy matrimony to appease their families”... just pure comedy and romance and the friendship is beautiful
3. Fire Island - a classic rom-com, must-see
2. In from the Side - rugby gays, affair, romance... all of that
1. Sublime - since it’s finally available on VoD, I had a chance to watch it this weekend and the soundtrack and story got me... Mi mejor amigo vibes but actually gay

5. Heartstopper - a classic, it was honestly hard to rate the shows because they’re all equally brilliant in my eyes
4. Heartbreak High - australian Sex Education, obsessed
3. The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself - magic, witches, gays... c’mon

Patrick/Iván in Élite - they’re literally everything to me, if you get it you get it, if you don’t you don’t, if you know you know and if you don’t know I honestly feel bad for you like I literally cannot explain it, I don’t have the vocabulary to sit here and explain like either you get the vibe or you don’t

5. Catalina - a queer man and his two childhood best friends reunite for a weekend camping trip on Catalina Island... could there be sumn more?
4. Too Rough - Nick wakes up next to his boyfriend Charlie and must conceal him from his own homophobic and dysfunctional family... very sad
3. Jean est tombé amoureux - two football players of opposite teams falling in love... mm very good!
2. Swim - two swimmers develop a strong friendship during their weekly sessions, but their relationship is tested outside the pool, when true identities are revealed... this one fawked me up good
1. Hard - Mikey experiences awkwardness and struggles to navigate the uncertainties of his sexuality after his first time with a girl doesn't go as expected, forcing him to confront his feelings of desire for his best friend... this was so much fun to watch
Top 5 Upcoming Gay Movies in 2023
5. The History of Sound - Paul Mescal and Josh O’Connor in a gay romance period drama? We’re looking forward to that actually! Anyways, they were supposed to film it this year, but they had busy schedules. Current plan is next year. Also Paul was hanging out with the director last month, so maybe something’s cooking.
4. Glitter & Doom - described as a summer romance musical feature told with the iconic tunes of folk duo Indigo Girls. Film follows a musician who wears charisma as camouflage and a carefree guy about to run away with the circus as they fall in love at first sight. Sounds fun.
3. Nuovo Olimpo - any Ferzan Özpetek fans? Any Manuel from Un professore fans? Well, looks like we won. Period drama set in Italy, following two men who have a chance encounter and then fall deeply in love, and then are torn apart. The film then follows them both over the next decades as they attempt to find each other again.
2. Strangers - yes, another one with Paul Mescal... yes, I’m crazy. And hi Andrew Scott. Directed by Andrew Haigh (Weekend, HBO’s Looking). Word on the street is that their characters will be romantically involved since Mescal's character corresponds to a woman who has a romance with the protagonist (Scott) in the original novel. We will be tuning in.
1. Bonus Track - film set in 2006, follows a small-town boy with dreams of being a gifted musician. When the son of an iconic musical duo enrols at his school, a powerful bond between the boys begins to grow. Based on an original story by Josh O'Connor (yes, him) and Michael Gilbert.
Anyways, that is it. There are a lot of movies that weren’t released THIS year yet, and I’m looking forward to them (Punch, Aristotle and Dante, Spoiler Alert,...). But I would be just repeating myself, so I’m not gonna talk about that.

now when you think about a bangtan fight it seem like jimin always at the scene of the crime. u got the mandu incident, the time him nd jungkook got into it nd ended up hugging in the rain, on burn the stage when tae nd seokjinnie was having it out he was scolding them afterwards like he just always there for a tussle. so when i imagine fighting with jimin i can just see you popping off on him saying this and that and him talking over you saying this and that until you say sumn crazy and he gon tell you to watch your mouth, get fed up and tell you to leave him alone and don’t call him or something, and then try to storm out (and that’s when you grab his wrist before he makes it out the room and kiss him on da mouf and let him push you up against a wall and y’all make up 😏 way before y’all come to an agreement). scary meter: [6/10]

joonie is a big buff man real tall and muscly but that’s not what makes him scary bc as big and buff as he is he is equally kind and gentle but there's a definite streak of unrefined aggression that lives within him and if you ever tapped into that it'd be bad bc it's like he holds back so much that when the flood gates open you will drown like downturned eyebrows nose scrunched up red in the face volume at 100 he's gesturing wildly got you backed in the corner ya know the WORKS but i do think it'd be a real quick burst tho like he's gonna absolutely lose it for all of a minute before regaining control of his emotions and he'd apologize for talking to you like that immediately. scary meter: [7/10]
hands down 100% tae is the scariest member to fight with like i'm specifically thinking of that time that rumor was being spread and he went on weverse saying he wish he could like stab the reporters with needles or something like that like if at all possible DO NOT piss him off because he is just so firm in all his beliefs and convictions like he is not backing down and i think he is also the most dramatic so if you take him there he's going to make the most of it like it'd be a steady build up him just continuously getting more and more upset until he's stomping around yelling at you like there's slamming doors and harsh words i wouldn't put it above him to punch a hole in the wall depending on the severity of the situation just like he is naawwwttt the one. scary meter: [10/10]

one time when i was homeless i saw this guy who was also homeless but he was on the street with a cart. i said sorry man, i aint got a lot but ill get you sumn from timmies. like a week later i saw him again... he gave me a tims card with the last 5$ on it. i kept saying no dude its cool but thank you and he was like no just fucking take it.
like ... i gave instead of 1 i gave 4 cigs to a lady the other day and she started crying and said she'd get me a carton next time she's at the rez... i was like bro no its cool. ive got a bag at home still. what would you say are like the top 5 books that are considered classics that like really impacted you or that you just really liked? im trying to expand my horizons from just murder mysteries and books about biology lmao
YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY okay i’ll provide a list as best i can also if you do end up reading any of them PLEEK lmk or if u get confused or sumn i’d love to talk about them but okay anyway
1. the metamorphosis by franz kafka - a man who spent his entire life working to support his family wakes up one day to find he’s turned into a giant bug. i literally think about this book every day of my life and it genuinely made me rethink Everything about life and what makes it worth living. i was reading it for a class and i ended up finishing it way before i was supposed to bc i was so enraptured by the story. easy to read and pretty short !
2. the great gatsby by f scott fitzgerald - follows nick carraway a newcomer to new york as he watches new money jay gatsby fall in love with the married to old money daisy buccanon. commentary on the death of the american dream for the silent generation in the 1920s ! it’s by far my favorite high school assigned reading book another easy to read mid sized book ! the movie with tobey maguire and leo dicaprio is also pretty good imo !
3. wide sargasso sea by jean rhys - this is a 1960s feminist post colonial prequel spin off to jane eyre but can absolutely be read as a stand-alone ! it tells the story of antoinette cosway who’s family has lost everything after the british leave jamaica in total disarray. she’s married off to a rich european man called me rochester and she’s eventually driven insane by her suffering and loss of identity at the hands of her husband. great for the my year of rest and relaxation girlies tbh. i remember this book being a little more difficult to get through than i like but the story itself is so good i persevered
4. the sun also rises by ernest hemingway - if i’m being honest a lot of nothing happens in this book but the frivolous conversation and happenings with the understanding that there’s more going on beneath the surface for all of the characters mentally is the whole point. it follows a group of american friends in europe who are veterans from world war 1 all trying to deal with their ptsd as best they can. i love hemingway’s style of writing and tbh i try to emulate it myself when i write. it’s pretty easy to read but the dialogue can be confusing bc he doesn’t use a lot of indicator tags also sorry for putting two lost generation writers they just speak to me …
5. the outsiders by s.e. hinton - idek if this counts as a total classic but it falls in the realm of to kill a mockingbird, the catcher in the rye etc so i’m counting it ! this was probably the very first assigned reading book that i genuinely enjoyed back in middle school so it’s an easy read and a midsized book. follows a group of boys (greasers) from the wrong side of town in the 1950s deal with their social statuses, broken families, and their love for each other. such a genuinely heartwarming yet heartbreaking read i’m getting chills just thinking about the ending. the movie is also amazing if you check that out !

I watched My Adventures with Superman
The title sounds like a porno.
Oh… It's so bad… It's so unbelievably terrible. I really wanted to have faith that it would at least be decent. Even if it was a copy paste of the 1979 animated series that would've been fine with me but this is actually trash. HIS POWERS MANIFEST WHEN HE'S A TEEN, HE'S NOT SCARED TO MEET HIS HOLOGRAM ALIEN PARENTS, HIS PARENTS ARE SUPPORTIVE OF THE FACT THAT HE'S ADOPTED, LOIS IS COOL AND AN ACTUAL PART OF THE PLANET, JIMMY IS NOT SMOOTH. What are they doing to these characters I don't care that Lois is Korean, and that Jimmy is black, I honestly don't give a shit just make them good characters SHOWING DIVERSITY IN SHITTY SHOWS DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE THE SHOW GOOD IT JUST GIVES A BAD REP TO DIVERSIFYING CHARACTERS.
I am so sad they sped up his backstory, I'm so sad they're starting with all 3 of them as interns, I'm so sad that Clark's powers are manifesting so slowly, I'm so sad that he doesn't make his suit, why can't he control his strength that's the power he's had the longest, why are they completely ignoring his super hearing, why is Lois a tomboy, why is Jimmy so into aliens, who is the lady who stole the robots? Is she supposed to be Metallo? If not then where is Metallo? Why hasn't the superpowered character actually defeated any villains yet, why is Superman so weak?? Why does he get a black eye, why do his powers fully manifest when Lois is in danger, why so they speed up the chemistry of Lois and Clark it takes YEARS before they get close and start dating and get married. Why is Jimmy pushing Lois and Clark who hard, how old are they supposed to be exactly? Also why are they making all the superpowered villains kids with tech? That angle is so crappy and takes away so much of the awesomeness? Why is Silver Banshee a preteen with a magic helmet she's not Elmer Fudd why am I here.
One thing that super pissed me off is Ivo. THIS SHOW IS TRYING TO TELL ME THAT 1. IVO IS A DOUCHEBAG 2. HE CREATED PARASITE 3. PARASITE ISN'T THE RESULT OF BIOCHEMICALS BUT IS ACTUALLY A TECHY ASS SUIT 4. THAT RUDY JONES ISN'T PARASITE 5. THAT PARASITE DOESN'T ABSORB POWERS BUT SIMPLY REFLECTS THEM BACK AT THE OPPONENT. Also the suit itself doesn't make any sense and is a total rip off of Green Beetle's design in Young Justice, just trust me, also why does it look like an insect? Parasite doesn't have ties with insects, like kinda in the way that he's resilient I guess, but that's about it yk. But wait something that's actually interesting happens: For some reason, completely unexplained (maybe the assistant/Lois and Jimmy messed with buttons), the suit turned on Ivo and when Superman ripped it there was a shriveled man underneath omgggg BUT we don't even get to savour that bit of somewhat interesting plot bc OH MY GOD LOIS FIGURES OUT SUPERMAN IS CLARK KENT ON EPISODE 4.
Side note: the animation and art style is so lazy, and the S that symbolizes peace or sumn I don't remember on his suit is barely legible?? Also where's the S shaped hair piece because that shit is iconic.
Look at these two designs. Just look at it.
Here's why the title "My Adventures with Superman" is the worst possible title for this show: This isn't from the audience's perspective, it's from Superman's perspective, and he's not having adventures with himself, also Adventures implies an episodic series, and this is definitely trying to have a long running plot; key word "trying", also adventures with superman makes him sound like your friendly neighbourhood hero, man could crush a mountain easily he's no neighbourhood nothing and It also implies he's not even the main character; that a self insert audience character would be but like I said that's not the case. Superman: The Animated Series is straight forward, not fucking around we're doing a show about The Man, it's animated, there you go. This show however is so dumb it hurts my brain. They've done nothing right.
I enjoyed Steve. Steve is at least halfway accurate, I'll give them that.
I fucked up and deleted like half of my post and it won't come back, so even thought there's SO much more about how stupid Lois is, why Amanda Waller is keeping close personal tabs on Superman is she's the leader of Cadmus, why are there Teen Titans villains in this show (ie, Slade/Deathstroke and The Brain and M. Mallah), and why is Wheatley and therapist gorilla in this show, who are they? Are they meant to be my beloved assholes Brain and Mallah?
I had to stop watching after I saw the Brain and Monsieur Mallah, it hurt too much. They took away my machine gun beret monkey.

what do you expect from the special?
Production wise?
Either it'll be like 5 minutes long or maybe 20?? I'm not expecting anything big, but i wouldn't be too surprised if they wanted a good final sendoff to get CC fans off their asses (RT STILL has "camp camp" blocked from their tiktok comments last I checked)
And the animation will either be kinda choppy and rusty?? maybe like season 1-2 quality, or it'll be REALLY good from experience, but honestly i'm not expecting season 4 quality since they actually overworked the animators for S4 and didn't pay them for the overtime they did (they got some BAD reviews on glassdoor from that one)
But plot wise? I'm thinking a reunion special would be neat, since it's been a few years IRL, seeing the campers aged up would be cute, but that would require a bunch of new models, so i'm not holding my breath on that one
Or it'll be the end of summer, where the kids finally go home. Maybe like a "wet hot american summer" situation where it follows the FULL last day from wake up to the farewell ceremony at the end of the summer when they get picked up
maybe some dadvid? for the (STRICTLY PLATONIC) fanservice?
i'm not holding my breath on ANY ships being canon, like, not even gwenvid. they'd get SOOO much flack from other shippers who want danvid or sumn to happen

Bestieeeeeeee!!!! So a few things
1.) the dance is Friday, i’m freaking outt
2.) we’ve been holding hands a lot(!) and recently i’ve been chilling on his lap, but today i took a lil nap while on his lap and after waking me up for class he said “I couldn’t feel my arm but it was worth it, i’d let it happen again, many times actually” and i just🥰🥹 cause i was scared that i’d add too much weight of sumn and without me even bringing it up i was reassured 😭.
2.5) this one isn’t big just felt like mentioning it. During the last class of the day we sit next to each other and we were holding hands under the table right? Then when i had to write j moved my hand, now i expected him to start writing too but no! he moved his hand onto my thigh and kept it there until i stopped writing (cause then i could hold hus hand again). Its amazing bc im a stage 5 clinger & he reciprocates the clinginess😊
3.) so I have this ring that is soo cute but doesn’t fit any of my fingers, so i put if on a chain. We now share the necklace.. like deadass if i feel like wearing it ill just go take it off of him then give it back later. And its not just the fact that he’s wearing something of mine but also that he likes it, and he looks good in it.
4.)im in marching band yea? So tonight was a v important game (it was against the rival school, we won 47-0) and he came!! Like ik he was coming but still☺️. So once halftime is over meaning band is done with the halftime show i see messages from my dad & aunt….. why were they sitting right behind him 😭 they got along but i was so scared the entire time, not to mention the nerves that were already there from performing in a bigger stadium than im used to

SUMMER (WHERE DO WE BEGIN)
IMO this is peak phineas and ferb song, but at the same time it's kind of different from the songs that usually try to encompass the show's main theme, this one's more chill in comparison than let's say carpe diem and summer belongs to you, but I love how this song takes the time to step back and include the more mundane perspective of Phineas and Ferb in regards to Summer, because most songs in this show encompass the more over-the-top ideas Phineas and Ferb have. It really highlighted how much Summer meant to them but at the same time, a song about summer that finally we can somewhat relate to more ahahahhaa. This song was love at first hear, I love Phineas' voice in this, the lyrics (especially the line "every single story is worth its weight in gold"), the funny inclusion of the theme song, the visuals, and what is stands for,,,, this song makes me the most nostalgic for this show so that's a bonus

Yoongi Experience + Update
So this was the post where I was going to tell you guys about how much I enjoyed Yoongi’s show and I might have a quick oneshot in the works because I got inspo because that’s my husband and he was so hot tonight, but well things didn’t go my way yesterday… or today really 🙃 I will be sparing with details but we were on our way to Newark but our train was delayed so badly to the point we arrived after the show ended (we were supposed to get there at 5 btw— 5 hours behind). We were literally stuck at a station for hours (it was probably around 4:30 ish when we got there (our train was already delayed so it wasn’t a big deal)) because of apparent “police activity” ahead. They didn’t tell us anything and we had to wait there for 2 hours because of sumn mysterious. I was already getting worried, but it was around 6ish when we started moving again from the station so I was like cool— we’ll have to rush, might miss the beginning but we’ll get there. Well we were stuck again in who knows where for hours, probably 3 maybe, and we couldn’t get off the train so we had to sit there as time ticked away and I watched the concert start without us there. Literally the worst experience ever and I broke down pretty bad— there were other armys on the train and yeah, the mood was just horrible. So yeah, by the time we got there, just picture us coming off the train and the station was filled with all the army’s going home from the show. If that ain’t my 13th reason right there this morning too our train back home had mechanical issues so we had to wait in the cold for a while before we had to catch a different train (3 hours and nearly 30 minutes behind schedule). I was supposed to be back at school already, prepping for my last few days of classes before I needed to grind on my final projects and studying for exams, but I’m still here at home. Anyway all this to say is that I’ve been having a very shitty time these past few days (I’ve went through the 5 stages of grief like 100 different times) but I’m still trying to come to terms with the fact that the delay was out of my hands and involved a very unfortunate accident, as much as I’ve cried there’s nothing I can do about it :’). I’ll be busy up till… the end of next week maybe so with everything going on I can’t promise I’ll get too much writing done until my break starts… I’m nearly done with the chapter I’ve been grinding, finishing up the smut scene and just a little plot to add at the end then I’ll finally be able to get out those oneshots that I’ve teased on my Progress Page (hint hint please check it out if you haven’t already)! I hope to do a lot of writing this summer and also get that special project out by the end of the summer (maybe? it at least should be completed and ready for beta feedback if not)! I’ll be back with more updates probably after I come home for good and I don’t have school stuff to think about~
tl/dr: Train got delayed to the point I ended up missing the Newark show (been crying my eyes out) 🙃 On the last leg for the semester and will be pretty busy and won’t be able to write for the next two weeks— hope to get started as soon as my break starts on those oneshots I teased on the Progress Page!
