So how is an adult meant to enjoy media, not just consume it? Not simply stare at flashing images while surrounded within a wall of noise? I am asking this as someone who stopped paying attention to anything popular over a decade ago, because I don't experience interest, excitement, or drama similarly to others. (Please note: If your response includes the word "depression" or anything similar I will materialize in your bathroom at 1am and upper deck the toilet, they don't make TV Enjoyer Meds)

What is this ask is reacting to? What you're describing is something I've cried about multiple times on here, so I'm unsure why you would think I have the answer.

I don't know if you're a new follower or what but i don't armchair diagnose strangers or offer generic life advice like get therapy. Pretty offensive that you think I might.

#is this about the 4chan post? because if so 1) the superior smug tone came from op not me #2) consumer boards meaning they primarily react producer boards as in they create #video game boards were notorious for low effort opinions turning discussions into petty bickering and insisting everyone was an enemy #thus their boards thrived on consuming and mindless reaction -first time someone said 'DCasual' they were immediately clocked #as/v/#because that kind of rivalry wasn't really a comic book thing #compare to my preference /co/ where you had constant drawthreads some write threads discussion (ie not just calling such and such shit)#and of course collaborative comics. there were industry professional interviews from time to time as well. not as much as tg but producing #if that's what you're referring to the answer is i guess go talk to people on 4chan? i haven't been in years and i wouldn't recommend it #if it's not i don't know why you're threatening to shit in my toilet
