In the low light of the evening sun, catching across the rim of a champagne flute, both of them are speckled with color. How warmly it shines upon them, brings a sense of charm to them. Ethereal to the onlookers that see just beyond the manor hedges; objects of jealousy and adoration, such are the whispers that fly through the shadows whispered by the common people, the ones who pine for luxury and the beauty it bestows on others. Luxury, beauty, righteousness. To have money, beauty, and power means that the two on the balcony are surely worthy of it.
The glass steals such brilliant light when he grasps at the stem, the red reflection of his nails contrasts the ephemeral as the man gently twists and turns the flute until the light frames the lord's face perfectly. The shine crosses the noble face, a moment in the eye, and Mirabelle smiles as only for a moment do the lord's eyes look away before flitting back to him. A moment more of silence, the gentle noises of Oppara coming to its nightly close, the cheers and jaunts of distant neighbors. An encroaching silence they welcome both, stretching shadows that claw their way up streets and walls and into homes. In the moments before however he savors the sun and its warmth, raises the glass to his lips and refrains out of politeness of more greedy sip than needed.
When the flute leaves his lips, its stained with a deep red imprint. Mirabelle tilts it just forward enough in offering for the lord to take. A brief moment, only polite, passes before Cornelius' hands brush against his own, with familiar warmth now kissed by the sun. To those at a distant, Mirabelle sits with perfect posture, looks respectfully upon the man as he should as Cornelius takes a drink proper. The red smears gently upon his lip in shared flirtation. Once it returns to the table, glitters and gleams, the man smiles just faintly at the edges. "And so it would seem I've started with you." With those words, he reclines, watches the earl with rapt attention before gesturing softly with a hand. "You're so charming in red, but it's a shame that there's so little in this place to dress you in."
This altar has plenty to spare but Mirabelle refrains from the suggestion. Cornelius' reputation has been spotless, to start the rumor that perhaps once in a while his help goes missing and never resurfaces is counter productive to both of them; but the time between offerings, between work proper, is vast now that the man has been given a position many and more of the other Children would kill for. A stretch of time far beyond the more frequent instances of violence and prayer when one is unhindered by noble reputation. He longs for it but his patience is far more vast than his thirst of blood.
"Perhaps I may have to offer you my own shades for a time soon." The offer is offhand, flippant, but one that Mirabelle is certain will stick with Cornelius for nights to come. He laughs briefly with an amusement too genuine. "I might have to confess to being equally dazzled. But let us set that aside for now; though I will gladly lavish in your praises and adorations after this."
There's no noise, no shift to the delicate table cloth as he rests his elbows on them, nor as he leans in. The sun begins its rest and the twinkling lights abandon them with it, the deep reaches of shadow begins to make its way to them both with no regard. "The gala's appointed date is fast approaching and I trust you are still prepared for it." He does not ask for the man to be willing for now there is no choice. "I need not remind you after all just what rides upon your success, Cornelius. I need not warn you of being taken in by the blinding rewards that you dash all these years of your own hard work."

yes totally!! i love gaster hes just a guy and hes so fun to think about! for now, i’m just gonna do some fluffy headcanons, but i may follow it up with a drabble later ;D (please dont hold me to that) hope you still enjoy though!! this was so fun to do thank you for asking!! <3
* for starters, there is a multitude of places you could meet. hes pretty personable as long as he isnt absorbed in his work. its easy to get him on tangents. hes passionate thats for sure, and he speaks in a way that will suck you into whatever he’s talking about even if you couldnt have cared less before. he loves sharing knowledge and if you ask a question, he’ll literally show up at your house in the middle of the night with a whole powerpoint presentation prepared to answer it. he will NEVER make you feel stupid for knowing less than him. at least not on purpose. hes smart and he knows it, his confidence tends to lean towards arrogance more often than not.
* gaster was nonverbal when he was a kid. as he got older, somewhere around his mid twenties, talking became much easier and much more comfortable for him. however, he does prefer to sign. its because he gets sensory overload pretty easily and it was his main method of communication for so long, he feels he can express himself much easier with sign language.
* this man is very very touch starved, like to a maximum degree. his time in the void was horrible, and he’d like to make up for lost time. he wants to be close to you however he can. he’s somewhat shy with pda, though he will link your pinkies together while walking down the street or lean into you when youre stationary somewhere.
* in private, he will be all over you. leaning down to give you kisses on the top of your head or pulling you close to him while you watch something. he loves to press his forehead against yours, its so innocently intimate and loving. my guy is whipped.
* gaster is pretty old fashioned when it comes to courting. hes somewhat dense with feelings, but as soon as he realizes hes into you in a way thats more than a friend he will ask you out. hes tired of losing time, and if it’s a possibility, he’d like to build something with you sooner rather than later. expect boxes of chocolates and meticulously picked bouquets (hes fond of the language of flowers). candle lit dinners at fancy restaurants too. (he can’t cook.) he will spend weeks planning the perfect date and tries to surprise you with it. although, he gets so finicky the closer it gets you can always tell when hes planning something.
* unfortunately (or fortunately, who knows) he is a very goopy guy. any extreme emotion can cause his body to nelt into a thick, sticky fluid. even if hes just comfortable or happy he will start dripping on you. he cant help it and is kind of insecure about it. reassurances and love would be very appreciated.
* if hes really excited about something (ranging from a scientific breakthrough or the stray cats he feeds being cute) he will rush in, pick you up, and then carry you to see whatever is happening. he will stand there like that will smith meme while he waits for your response.
* speaking of the will smith meme, everytime he introduces you to someone he knows its LITERALLY that meme. if hes not talking about his work, hes talking about a documentary he watched, and if hes not talking about that, hes talking about you. even before meeting you, everyone who is even somewhat acquainted with him knows who you are. i wouldnt say he gushes constantly, just when it happens to come up:
* “Doesn’t this sandwich look delightful, my partner made it.”
* “Oh, I know what that is. My partner was just telling me how much they enjoyed that program.”
* “My partner recently got a new haircut, it’s wonderful. I didn’t think I could love them any more.”
* he enjoys going to antique stores and thrift stores to add to his collection of odd knick-knacks and old movies. he’d love if you joined him! he finds silly things sometimes, ones hed never buy, but he always wishes you were there to see them. he would send you pictures, but hes kind of struggling with his cellphone. get you a man who has like twenty phds but still doesnt understand how to turn the flash off on his phone.
* speaking of his phone camera, he can be a menace with it. not on purpose (at least at first), but he loves taking pictures and he can never get them right. its driving him batty. the amount of times hes nearly seared your eyes out trying to get a candid picture of you numbers in the hundreds by this point. now, whenever he sees something he wants to take a picture of he comes to find you. youve shown him how to turn the flash off, but he always insists he forgets. he doesnt. he just likes to tease you.
* i associate the song anniversary by autoheart with gaster whenever i enter x reader daydream mode, just adding it on for any one else who makes amvs in their brain

I’m Back - I hope!
Hello everyone! As promised, I wanted to make this update on the 1st and here we are.
I’ve been writing quietly for a couple of weeks now. I don’t have a lot of stuff stored yet, and I won’t be making any promises about how often I’ll post, or if each week will have any content in it, but I will ensure to make the weekly schedule each Sunday so everyone knows what’s going to be happening ahead. If no schedule shows up, that will mean I won’t have any content the following week to share.
As for what I’m writing. Well, I still predominately want to focus on my stories here being what most of you followed me for - kpop fanfic. I’m going to play around with posting some original content when I have it here and there, and would appreciate feedback if you could offer any. I don’t really wish to make another blog for my writing, so I hope whenever I do post it, if it’s not your thing, you can just move on to the content that does inspire interest in you.
I won’t commit to any big projects on the blog, because every time I try, life reminds me that planning ahead doesn’t always work anymore for me. So either, I’ll finish said project first before announcing it, or it just won’t happen until life settles down some. I will be writing what feels right to me to do at the time, so people with Idea Starters prompts, I’m sorry but I may take longer to finish them if I’m not focusing on that at the time. Basically, whatever I post will happen because I chose to do that rather than forced myself to write in order or of what a small few expect me to. I’m quite fragile at present, and I almost gave up the blog from pressure and I’d hate to fall trap to it again. Currently, I’m just using a prompt list to write random stories from and I’m enjoying it so I’ll be continuing with that as much as I can.
Chelle Chats is still an unknown. I miss conversing with you all but I’m unsure how to make it work in a regular format. I was doing it every fortnight, which seemed to work, but I still need to think on this now that life is so unpredictable with my mother’s health and being in and out of hospital. I’ll be offering a catch up session tomorrow (Saturday) so if you want to come chat (sorry no drabbles this weekend), please feel free to do so!
I’m going to continue Challenging Words, if only for myself. It’s pretty much dead again, so it’s probably best to cut ties soon, but I love my little prompt blog and even if it’s just for me, I’ll be continuing it. Any ideas are always welcome. I won’t be doing the monthly challenges any longer for the foreseeable future. @this-song-thats-only-for-you aka Sem has moved on from her writing blog for the time being and so it’s just going to be me managing it and I’ll try to keep on top of it as best as I can.
And finally, I have a small announcement that I want to share. Even if nothing comes from it, I want to let you all know that I’ve decided to take Forsaken and turn it into at least a novella. I’ve been working on changing the names of all the characters and coming up with ideas, and for the next several months, I plan to slowly rewrite it into its own world. I know it was a story that not everyone loved, but I had a lot of encouragement to turn it into a book, and I’ve decided if anything, it’ll be good practice on writing something with the intention of publishing. I’ll be looking for beta readers later down the track, if all things go well!

**update**and happy fall ;) guidelines
im going to reschedule my blog time. i will delete the app from my tablet because it makes me obsessively refresh and feel like its broken in some way. when its not.
ive been only realizing this now but i had close to 1000 subs (even tho most of them inactive or moved or personal blog who followed me once and idk stayed?) and now i have 800 something. its not the number that bothers me but the fact that these are all those nasty nude girl bot blogs... i really dont care about the number since i myself follow like 30 ppl at most
i checked the last 3 month activity and in june i had 50 reblogs on threads which is not too shabby in july i had 28 in august i had 5 (granted i was off for like two weeks) and since the beginning of september i had 9 (i also counted in the inbox replies i did)
i dont know how anyone is with it but i follow very few people and i even go back to the day before and recognize where my dash was when i went to bed. its compulsive and its bad because i get myself hyped up then i feel shit when i scroll past so many threads that has nothing to do with me. and im not about that. im about the fun and im glad others are having fun. i also remember sending out memes but dont remember to whom and how many. if it was excessive im sorry and if yall dont feel like answering just drop it and delete it. same goes for threads if you wont feel like something anymore tag me into a thread drop post and the thread and ill just like it and stop waiting on it.
and this is me saying literally that i have nothing better to do then sit and refresh when i could be (and should be tbh) doing something else. im not being negative about it but i feel like its pointless for me to reblog inbox meme compilations and the like.
it starts to feel like less as a hobby then a device to torture myself because even over extended period of time i dont get anything. and when i do its unhealthy how hyped i get about it and drop everything i do to reply.
i think about my ships even though i wait sometimes months for a thread to move forward. i dont lack in ideas and even tried to do just drabbles but i got scared of those even because i think what if the other party will think i interpret their muse in a way they wont portray and drop me completely. (i did get shit for that a long time ago)
i dont write headcanons even though i think of them often because most of my muses dont even get requested and if by some miracle i get to try them out its literally 3 notes in and never hear from the new partner again. also if i do introduce myself to new blogs i follow and ive stressed this before so many times.... if i get ignored i get pissed. i get pissed if someone follows me then i follow them back and even chat them up and they ignore me unfollow me (without my dumbass noticing because im not about the numbers) and i like their starter call because they are still on my dash and then they spat out a “mutuals only” message i loose my cool.
i love the people i regularly play with and the reason why im so hesitant to even accept new followers or follow someone when the mood strikes is exactly because im at the end of my rope here. i dont want to hate coming on here because new people ruin my experience and then my friends who actually do bomb threads with me have to deal with my sour ass because others pissed me off.
so long story short;
*dont expect me to give you more than 3 weeks waiting time to interact and get something going on if you are new,
* ill come online once a week do all my replies put them into queue and maybe at the most lurk and reblog pictures tagging my partners whos ship it may concern
* i wont reblog inbox one liner meme anymore. its pointless and just makes me get upset with myself. (although i will participate in tags if someone tags me) that being said my inbox is open (and empty) and everyone is welcome (yes anon is also welcome)
* i wont put out and wont like starter calls. those are the things that break my spirit the most. i dont need a starter to have 3 notes in and never continued.
* i WILL literally drop a thread if i write an extensive reply and get like at the maximum 3 lines of reply. that is the biggest disrespect in my book and im done making exceptions even if we are years long partners. its just rude and you can move your brain a little to write more than a paragraph.
* i WILL block you if you ask for a starter and let it sit after 3 notes in because fuck you thats why.

Heres a fun one. Roll 3 d 20, rerolling on a number that doesnt match one of your muses, or one thats already been picked. Those three are now pokemon trainers on a journey together, write a drabble of them meeting, and getting their starters.
(Ooh interesting! Will try. I got Orabella, Tia and Kyana! I have ideas on their starters but uh, they won’t be from matching regions if that’s cool. lol)
Tia and Kyana were childhood friends and both loved Pokemon very much. When they were old enough, they decided to become trainers together. “Come on! Let’s go choose our starters!” Kyana cheered, full of excitement to get her journey started. Tia giggled at the others enthusiasm and followed her friend to the lab. The professor greeted them and showed them to the starters for them to pick to be their partner.
So many choices. They were lucky the professor had all kinds from different regions other than theirs. “Aww, look at this bunny! So cute and sporty! I choose that one!” Tia declared, picking up the happy Scorbunny who hugged her. Kyana was having trouble picking. “So many cute Pokemon...” she whispered then gazed at the Torchic. Such an adorable little chicken.
“What about you? Would you be my partner?” she asked and carefully picked it up. It stared at her then fluffed its feather and gave a happy cry. Kyana lit up. “Yay! We’ll be great friends, you’ll see!” The girls ran off with their new Pokemon towards the first route. Suddenly there was a cry heard that caused them to run to it. It was an older woman holding a book with a Snubbull in front of her who was grumbling.
“Nice Snubbull, good Snubbull.” she whimpered, hiding partially behind her book. Kyana and Tia came to the rescue and jumped in front of her. “It’s okay. They’re actually quite friendly once they get to know you.” Kyana said and held her hand out but the Snubbull kept growling. She laughed nervously. Tia frowned and had Scorbunny fight the dog and made it run. Orabella explained she was a Pokemon researcher though didn’t have a Pokemon herself. So the three decided to travel together and catch and learn about Pokemon.

mmm i haven't watched alot of tv shows really tbh. my favourite and the only one im invested in atm is friends, ive watched alittle of modern family and how i met your mother, but that's pretty much it ig jdndjdj
as for movies, i love the greatest showman! it hits a bit too close to home but i always love the goosebumps i get whenever i watch it :) next would be thor ragnorok, which ive mentioned before djjdjs but its just really funny and love it sm, and it was loki's turning point so bonus marks. black widow is also a new favourite <333 though i felt terrible when they were being tortured as kids, but it really showed a new perspective on natasha and her past. i also really like the notebook! everything was so sweet it rly nearly brought me to tears jsbdjdjjsh and finally the shawshank redemption! it was something i didn't rly think i would like, but i was really pleasantly surprised lmao. everything was pretty depressing but it also kinda blew my mind away :D
for songs, my no.1 song rn is nct dream's irreplaceable, idk why exactly but i love that song. i also have a thing for songs that are similar genres to baekhyun's un village, nct jaehyun's try again and jungkook's still with you, so those are three more though im not really sure if they're really the same genre anyways and its been almost a year now and i still cant get over how nct 127's boom makes me feel 💕

bluff and nonsense by @/thepixelelf // THIS FIC. it's my go to rec overall. it was so memorable had such good flow and just genuinely so genuine?? i have no other words to describe it, it's just so ,,, lovely. the plot takes you on a journey and it's woven together so seamlessly.

HOWEVER, I am always down to plot a relationship between our muses, so we can send memes with abandon!
"But I've already sent you a meme!" Great, SEND ME MORE. More asks means more chance one will inspire me. I always feel really bad when I get just the one meme from someone I REALLY want to play with, but am uninspired for how to reply. You can always send multiples, and I encourage it.
Do NOT overload a meme with muses/questions. Be considerate about how many things you are asking for per ask. There is no hard line for this, but I'd prefer a max of 3 "parts" to an ask. An example could be one question for three muses, or three different questions for one muse. but don't send me several questions for several muses. I will ignore and delete the ask.

It's frustrating as hell seeing the exact same grey blocks of text on every single post in a thread, ESPECIALLY if it was an ask with a long answer. Be considerate of me, and help me be considerate of my followers, by turning asks into new posts if you want to continue a thread. I will endeavor to always follow this rule, as well.
BE AWARE: I will drop a thread that began with an ask when I lose interest UNLESS you tell me you want to keep it and there is mutual interest/inspiration. I have so many small threads going that came from asks, that i will 99% likely NOT remember to say anything. If you want to turn something into a plotted thread, TELL ME
-NO GODMODDING OR METAGAMING
DO NOT PLAY MY CHARACTER FOR ME UNLESS YOU ASK ME. want my character to auto-block a hit? Ask me. Maybe they’re in a different mindset than you think and wouldn’t see it coming. I don’t care how small the action. ASK. ME. FIRST.
Also, in the same vein, don’t do a multitude of things without giving my character a chance to respond to any of them. Maybe they would have grabbed your character’s arm instead of just letting them storm off. Maybe they would have said something before your character made it across the room and out the door.
DO NOT try to force my muse to harm or otherwise take advantage of yours. Take a hint. If my muse is specifically avoiding hurting your muse, do NOT pigeonhole them into injuring your muse. Do not injure your muse because my muse refused to do so. Get your hurt kink BS somewhere else.
In addition, do not punish my character for inaction. If them not moving will lead to your character harming themselves, warn me first. Don't punish my muses for not knowing what to do by hurting your muse.
-Don't Auto-Ship
If you want a pre-established relationship, whether it's romance, sex, family, or even friendship, talk to me first. If you assume my muse knows yours, that your muse lives with mine, anything like that, there is a 100% chance I will get uncomfortable and drop the thread, likely also unfollowing you.
IN ADDITION, Don't force ships. My character is not required to fall for yours, or even like them. If I feel you are forcing a ship, I will stop replying.

Drabble: Day in the life on Mojoworld after the power emerged at puberty. explains a lot about Cats obedience.
Can be made into a starter easily if anyone is interested in this being an AU

He hears the bitching and yelling in Cadre, one blue and one white eye peek open from where he huddled beneath the thin sheet. A new rebel was being brought in. A new one for him to kill. Probably within the next few days, he wasn’t schedule for combat until then. Instead he was undergoing more testing in Mojo’s laboratory during air time.
The cell next door is unlocked and he hears the crash of the poor soul getting hammered into the back wall. Fool. Don’t they understand: fighting against Mojo is useless. Even as a young teen he can comprehend the systemic nature. The way the Cadre are targeting the head when they should be targeting the body. He moves quietly to sit against the back wall, knees to his chest.
Watching just the hallway in front of the barred section he stays silent. Always silent. Its better that way, keeps him alive and in one piece. No one knows what you want if you never speak around the guards or the others. Its a rule he tried to stick with. Keyword: Tried.
A few more bangs and grunts of agony echo through the now deafeningly silent corridor. The guards emerge, he hears their boots and the door slam. Beeping as its locked. “Fucking dumbass.” The bitching begins again, this time from the guards. “Stay in there and keep your mouth shut.”
One of the other guards laughs and it bounces off the metal walls. “Or don’t fuck if I care let him annoy his neighbors.”
He knew that voice, very well. It why he’d gotten off the bed in the first place. Last thing he wanted was to be lying down when that bastard was on duty.
The group pauses as the owner of that voice strays over to his cell, the one immediately next door. “Who is in the neighborhood. Well well well if its not the filthy star faced freak. “
Laughter erupts and Catalyst barely hides a wince as the guard smacks the cell bars with a metal baton. The sound echoing harshly off the walls.
“You miss me? I know you did. Tell me you missed me, Star.” When he doesnt receive an answer he moves for the door. “You speak when requested to maggot. Don’t make me come in there and shock it out of you.”
That. That was a real possibility. “No.” A good passive aggressive answer ought to solve the situation. He wasn’t sure why this particular guard hated him so much. Just that he did. Catalysts fingers dug into the fleshy parts of his arm to hide the rage. He hated being called Star. He was nothing like Shatterstar.
Another bout of laughter erupts and another set of baton banging. He locks his jaw to stop from showing anything. “Lookit him shaking. Oooo whats wrong you scared??”
“Hahah nah the fuck up just can’t stop. Can you? Noo you cant thats why they sent you to that bastard Arize isn’t it?Now you’re back with us. I cannot wait to escort you to the lab again tomorrow. i won’t taze you on accident this time.”
“Yeah youll do it on purpose and its gonna be so good. Damn we should show that to Captain man he’d think its a riot.”
Catalyst shrinks further into the wall at Arize’s name. The mention of the Mojo’s laboratory makes his body begin to vibrate harder. Ground beginning to tremor.
“Hey hey hey stop it. No shakin’ the place down. You want to go to the lab??” He begins unlocking the door
Catalyst cant stop it anymore and the vibrations heat up, blood pumping heart racing at the mention of the lab. No dont take him there. Not there. Today had been enough. His hands grip tighter and he feels a snarl of warning erupt before he can stop it.
Eye glowing bright enough to light the room. Firmly saying ‘stay back’.
“Ooo shakin’ and glowin’ we got a winner!” Entering two of them stay outside while the others stay by the now closed door.
His ‘favorite’ comes wandering over with a swagger that makes Catalyst want to rip his face off. All in good time. He’d get his chance, but this wasnt it. Not yet. The man stumbles as the ground continues to vibrate. “Stay still. Thats an order.”
The baton smashes into his head hard. Again. And again. He’s seeing stars but doesnt dare budge, if he moves to get out of the way he knows exactly what will happen. The lab. At least if he lets them do this he knows theyll leave him here and not drag him off. Off for more ‘testing’ or demonstrations of what he can do. Mojo had already made a special channel for the tests and demonstrations, so he could watch his toy progress.
Just take it. Za it takes everything he has just to stay still and keep taking it. Every bone in his body is demanding he kill this bastard.
Between the bones crunching and the sound of metal on bone he hears a faint yell. “Leave him alone!”
The new guy.
What an idiot.
The hits stop and he stays as still as possible until a hand grabs his chin forcing his gaze upwards.
“I hate you you disgusting piece of shit. You are nothing. Hear me? Nothing. Just a failed little construct. If I were Gaveedra Seven I’d kill you myself! He failed. Our messiah failed. You’re the fucking proof of that. Every time me, or one of my boys is pissed off about our existence Im sending them to you. Let off some steam. Have some fun. Because its all a repulsive little slave like you deserves.” He was shouting now, it was echoing and he knew: knew everyone in the block was listening.
“Now say you’re sorry. You fucking hear me? Apologize!”
He swallows every ounce of pride he can, in between the blood and saliva. If it bought him time alone and out of the lab. He was desperate enough to do anything. “M’ sorry.”
“Good boy. ”
