OKAY SO. I need your help. I have two roleplay ideas and plots written out, but both are fairly similar. I can’t decide which one to go with. So, I’m creating a poll. Read the plots below, and vote which one is your favourite. 

Keep in mind, one has a more general plot and can go in a lot of different directions, and is total freedom for the players, while the other kind of has more of a structure/plotline to it that isn’t was freeing.

VICIOUS - Option 1:

EXPOSITION

The year is 1921; fascism is on the rise in Italy. People flee their homes in hopes of finding a better life. It brings the Giammarco family to Miami. A young Nicola begins sweeping the halls of The Grand Hotel to help his family put food on the table. It’s at the hotel that Nicola gets involved with rum-running. The Grand caters to the wealthy; money can buy anything in Miami and the one thing everyone wants is a taste of what’s forbidden.

Nicola and a small group of villainous and ambitious characters take full advantage of the hotel’s clientele all while keeping their operation a secret from their superiors. Nicola’s criminal activity earns him a pretty penny. He buys his mother and father a house. A few years later, after the market crash, Nicola buys The Grand.

Flash forward to 1985; Nicola’s grandson Victor Giammarco buys cocaine from Colombian smugglers. He has been for years. Still based at The Grand Hotel, the Giammarco mafia steps up their narcotics game with the white powder that took the city by storm. Victor has a taste for the drug, more so than many of the people he sells it to. His empire crumbles beneath his powder-stained nose. The loss of authority causes a schism.

Samuel, the young son of the don wants to take control of his father’s empire, to lead where his father failed. The don’s consigliere, Roberto Rossi, wants the power for himself. Thus ignites an internal struggle to last two years between the old empire and those who wanted to steal it for themselves. Though, the Giammarco name is far too well known, too well respected, too feared, to let outsiders take over the legacy. Samuel Giammarco executed Rossi in the lobby of The Grand, ending any threat against the family name.

Present day; the power the Giammarco mafia has spans the state and most of the country. They cater to the elite who live in or pass through their great city. The slight stain on the marble floor still serves as a reminder of what happens to those who question the family.

THE SPARK

December 31st, 2018;

10, 9, 8… As the crowd counts to the New Year, a gun is loaded to execute Samuel Giammarco in the lobby of his own hotel. 7, 6, 5… A body moves though the drunken crowd; the target is the center of attention. Leading his guests in celebration. 4, 3, 2… The executioner raises his arm. The world is in a daze. 1… “Happy New Year" is cheered as the shot rings out. Fireworks mask the sound, but nothing could hide the sight of Samuel Giammarco collapsing to the ground with a bullet hole through his head, a mirror of Roberto Rossi decades before.

Act I -

“A civil war is brewing in Miami and it’s bound to get vicious.”

i. The Don is dead, long live the Don.

A warring family is left to fill the spot of their fallen patriarch. An uncle who craves decades of respect owed to him; a son who will defend his father’s legacy with his life; loyalists pulled at the wrists in a game of tug-of-war. What side will they choose?

This leaves the real question unanswered: who killed Samuel Giammarco?

GRAND DESIRES - Option 2

The world has always been a dark place. There are people who choose to ignore it. To live blindly to the truth that surrounds them. Others, they see. They see the black in people’s souls. That there are those out there who will do anything and everything to attain what they’re after. No matter the cost, no matter the consequence.

The Grigori family had a history of using an abusing the world around them to build their empire of greed and corruption. A seemingly ancient legacy, the family’s reach was notorious. By 1987, brothers Nicholas and Gabriel Grigori had crafted not only a crime syndicate that operated internationally, but established themselves in the public eye as masters of business and philanthropy. Gone were the whispers of evil behind closed doors. No more did people gossip about the conspiracies of the family’s criminal past. They were too good, for all the bad to be true.

Though, the relationship between the brothers was strained. With all the success they garnered, they kept wanting more. Neither could agree, but Gabriel was willing to compromise. That wasn’t enough, however, for his brother. The constant threat of being replaced, or overpowered, was too great a risk. So, on a cold December night, Nicholas stabbed his brother in the back, literally and figuratively.

The legacy was his, and his alone.

Nicholas continued his act of smoke and mirrors throughout the years. He knew if the truth got out, his family, his loyalists, the world, all would turn against him. He would take his brother’s murder to his grave.

It’s 2019 and the Grigori children are grown. They have taken their parents’ places as the heads of the empire. The legacy is their responsibility now. Will they be able to handle the pressure better than their predecessors?

Remember, history tends to repeat itself. People will do anything to reach their grand desires.

Grand Desires is a crime based skeleton roleplay in which the players and their characters drive the story. It is focused on a single crime organization in the city of Miami, Florida. Please keep in mind that this roleplay and the characters will deal with mature themes and potentially triggering content.

Those who directed the “Great” French Revolution used a preconceived “Reign of Terror” to put into effect the Luciferian principle that e Goyim are to be reduced to one common level in subjection. It is this principle that Cromwell’s “Roundheads” demonstrated so effectively when they put the “Levellers” into action after the Synagogue of Satan had helped remove the Crowned Head of England and usurp dictatorial power.

Those who serve the Synagogue of Satan are still engaged in leveling the Goyim. Instead of raising women up to the high levels of morality and virtue once practiced by women who patterned their behaviour on that of the Mother of Jesus Christ, Satanists have introduced “modernism” which dragged women down to the level of males. They call this “Women’s Suffrage.” The purpose was stated to be to “free women from slavery of body, mind, and soul,” if we heed what Mrs. Pankhurst and others had to say. But behind the “window dressing” is the intention to brainwash women into a pattern of behaviours which will cause men to withdraw their respect and kill chivalry. This is all part of the conspiracy to reduce women to be either the play-things of the ruling classes or human incubators to supply the numbers and types of individuals the Dictator will decide are necessary to fill the requirements of the state.

Under God’s plan for the rule of the Universe all His Creatures were born unequal. It is common fallacy to believe all men are born equal. It is a half truth which is worse than a down right he. The ONLY manner in which all men are equal is inasmuch as they all have a body and soul. As far as mental capacity, bodily stamina, physical beauty and spiritual characteristics are concerned no two people in the entire world are alike or equal.

God intended that every one of His human creatures could, if they so desired, develop spiritually until qualified to fill the highest places in Heaven. Because human beings, as well as angels, have intellects, and the use of their free will, they can deteriorate until they qualify for the lowest levels in Hell. Talk ofa classless world is pure Luciferian doctrine. Lucifer’s capacity for love has turned into a capacity for hate. He knows he was and is wrong, but he is determined to drag as many human souls down to his level as is possible; he is succeeding in a terribly efficient manner. The words of Our Lord “For many are called, but few are chosen,” are so true that to think about what is going on in the world today, under the influence of Satanism, is truly terrifying. But that does not relieve us from the responsibility of putting an end to the diabolically inspired conspiracy. Far too many people just don’t want to hear anything unpleasant. They dorit want to meddle in dirty affairs. Like oysters they want to confine themselves within a shell. They are the real untouchables. Their motto is: “I mind my own business. Let other see to theirs, and may the Devil take the hindmost.” I can’t imagine Heaven being filled with such creatures, but they will surely fit nicely into hell.

We have dealt with how leveling was achieved during the French Revolution in Pawns in The Game, so we will now go with Weishaupt to Italy in order to show how the Synagogue of Satan controlled ALL aspects of the W.R.M.. then as they do today.

In keeping with his intention to make authorities, in Church and state, believe the Illuminati was dead, Weishaupt arranged that the secret revolutionary society in Italy, known as “The Carbonari,” be revived and reorganized to put the plans of the S.O.S. into effect. He needed a gang of assassins to liquidate individuals and movements which opposed internationalism. Carbonarism was revived in 1815. The Grand Secret Consistory held a meeting October 13, 1820. As a result the Carbonari became part and parcel of Grand Orient Masonry. Its members have committed nearly all political murders ever since. Like all evil groups, controlled by the S.O.S., the Carbonari operated under many names. One off-shoot was the Mafia which operated particularly in the United States of America. They direct “Gang” wars which put men selected by the S.O.S. at the head of organized labour, gambling, dope peddling, white slavery, and all other forms of vice. The Mafia is more powerful and active in the U.S.A. today than ever before.

Guiseppe Mazzini was initiated into the Carbonari and Grand Orient Masonry, in 1827. Weishaupt ordered him to go to America and secretly develop the part America was to play in the final stages of the Luciferian conspiracy. Many students of the W.R.M. express the opinion that it was Mazzini who became the mentor who controlled Pike until 1872 when he (Mazzini) died. With this opinion I must disagree.

I know it will hurt a great many good American people to learn that 11iomas Jefferson was just another, publicity made, idol who had feet of clay. The Synagogue of Satan needed to obtain control of America so that they could use this new giant to enable them to bring the semi-final and final stages of their revolutionary plan to fruition. In order to do this America had to be separated from Great Britain. Despite all the agentur of the S.O.S. had done, Britain in some strange way, or by the grace of God, had rejected revolutionary action to bring about a change of government. Illuminist Manuilsky said when discussing Britain in a speech he made to the delegates attending the 18th Congress of the Communist Party (international) in Moscow in 1938: “Britain is the rock upon which the waves of revolution have so far dashed themselves in vain. Britain and her people must be destroyed before we can reach our ultimate objectives.”

Manuilsky is no more an atheistic Communist than I am. He is a top ranking member of the S.O.S. who succeeded Lenin as the Illuminati’s director of political action which, as we have previously stated, in the jargon

The Mafia’s Son Part 1

So, I’ve gotten quite a large amount of comments asking for a series and for dark lance. And I’ll tell you. I listened. In my own way. So, I present to you a mafia au of our fine blue boy! The Young Prince of the McClain family.

Lance was the youngest of the family. And he’d proudly say that to anyone and everyone that would listen to him. Though, he doubted that people really just how much weight that held in his family, the McClain family. He was the baby of the family. A family that was… how would it be said? Rather, well known. Famous even, if you knew who to ask. All the attention just for their small family business. It really wasn’t too big of deal. Well, not a big of deal for them being one of the biggest mafia’s in Cuba with connections internationally. Lance was a lucky boy being the youngest. With all his older sisters coddling him and protecting him, there was always someone playing with him, or teaching him things. Protecting him from the big bad world.

           Just look at Lance’s first boyfriend, the mess it was. He’d been an asshole, taking advantage of Lance’s money and love. Then breaking his heart when he slowly realized just who Lance was. His sister had not been happy. Lance was hurt.

           Luckily, the pain wasn’t so bad that he couldn’t enjoy painting targets of that jackasses pants and watching his sisters taking turns with their pipes. He did warn his dear Johnny that his sisters would bust his kneecaps if he hurt Lance. Johnny had said he’d love Lance forever… but obviously that was a lie if he was fucking some other girl on the side. Sweet girl. Lance liked her, he took great pleasure in stealing her to be his own when Johnny was in the hospital, and remaining her closest friend when the relationship was broken off.

           That doesn’t mean Lance was completely helpless… they didn’t call him the dark prince for nothing. He was the young prince of the family, with family members that would protect him with their lives. They would do anything for him, enjoyed taking care of him and smothering him in protective love. But Lance was more than capable of taking lives of his own. Mama didn’t raise someone lazy. And Papa didn’t raise a son who was at the mercy of his surroundings. He was the hunter, not the prey. Lance was just as driven and hardworking as his older sisters. And Lance couldn’t help but think that maybe that was his saving grace. Though, he guessed no one could have guessed the son of a mafia would be shot into space to fight an intergalactic war with giant metal space lions.

           Hey. He’s seen weirder things growing up he guessed. His uncle was quite creative with a can of spray paint, a crow bar, and toothpicks. He’d never seen a torture victim crack so fast. Though, Lance was more partial to kill them with kindness. Mercy and guilt. Classic. And worked so well for him, being the so called ‘innocent one’ of the family.

           Too bad everyone that could disprove that was either family or dead.

           Oh well, that was a shame he guessed.

           What Lance couldn’t have guessed however, was just how hard it was to be in space without his family. The loneliness and frustration was almost crushing. He couldn’t get a break from being smiley and joking. He didn’t get to let out his frustrations anymore. The bloodlust inside him aching, the need to dig and tear into someone, watch their pain beneath your fingernails. Blood. Red. True. Honest. It was difficult to act normal without a break for so long. Acting average in training simulators where he could easily handle his own load, but had to stumble a bit. They had nothing to technically be suspicious about. And he guessed he could explain himself. But, that would be. Inconvenient. Gaining trust was time consuming. He cared about them so much. He’d never hurt them. But if he confessed his sins, would they still believe that?

           It was easier if they never found out. Even if the dark prince within him was growing impatient. Itching to just get this over with and go home. The temptation to find and corner a Galran general on a mission and just take the information he wanted was so an enticement that was so hard to resist. Lance had to wonder just how long he could take it. The jabs at his goofy nature, a personality that was warmly received at home. The biased behaviors, everyone preferring someone else to his company, excusing Coran. If only he’d met Coran on earth. His father would have loved him. They would all be well taken care of when they got to earth, whether they learned why that would be or not. Lance had his plans.

           He was going to get Pidge and Hunk into good colleges or careers dependent on their wishes, they had enough military and fighting for their short lives. Shiro would be urged into counseling by everyone, so that wasn’t a worry. Though Lance would be sure to make sure he would get only the best job in whatever field he would go into. Keith, he was a little more difficult, Lance would have to wait and see before he made any decisions. God knows where Keith was going to stay. Though with how cozy him and Shiro were getting, Keith was probably sure to stay with Shiro. Either way, Lance would be sure that Keith would not end up in some shack in a desert. He loved all the paladins, but he knew for a fact he had a soft spot know as a crush for both the red and black paladins. It wouldn’t affect any judgement he had on them. And he certainly wasn’t jealous per-say of them finding affections in each other. He couldn’t have them anyway. They were pure. Naïve. He wouldn’t taint that.

           Maybe them getting together in front of Lance’s eyes was the next best thing. Whether it doomed him to other fantasies or helped him move on. He didn’t know just yet… guess he’d find out as the days went by. Lance leaned back against Blue’s paw. Head lulled back with a smile.

           Blue was the only one that knew everything. Mind melds were easy to avoid the memories of a little five-year-old Lance holding a gun. Or the many ‘interrogations’ and strewn bodies parts that stained the floors of the training rooms. It wasn’t that hard really. All he had to do was push forward the memories of his sisters and parents. Christmas trees and laughter. Playing card games and speaking Spanish together into the night.

           “Hey Blue, do you think I’m a bad person?” A purr of reassurance rang through his mind, soothing him. She loved him regardless of human laws and moralities. She sensed his good heart. His love for their team. She was not worried about him hurting anyone that didn’t deserve it. Didn’t mind that he had human blood on his hands as well as alien. Maybe that even helped him, the others all had a hard time with the concept of deaths on their head. Needing comfort which Lance was often the one to give as the friendly and cheery paladin. Holding Pidge and assuring her it was okay, she would find her family, and they would love her all the same. They loved her too. Hunk always would need a hug. His anxiety and guilt reaching high levels until Lance could curve it. Whispering quietly and helping Hunk destress, think with a clear head. Lance helped Keith keep his mind off it. Sparring with him. And giving subtle reassurance whenever a flash of fear and guilt would ring through those violet eyes when Keith would pin Lance or point a weapon at him. Shiro was a little harder to help, but also was easier in a way. He was used to death. Most of Lance’s comfort was given to Shiro by finding him when the nightmares were bad and staying with Shiro. Quietly humming, or talking in a low voice until Shiro would drift back to sleep.

           Lance wandered if he noticed how even when he helped them, he didn’t quite get or need help himself. Looking down the barrel of a gun and taking someone’s life was a feeling Lance knew quite well. And if there was a reason for it. Lance was quite fine with the feeling, only enjoying the rush of pleasure and sadistic desire. Lance knew if he killed an innocent, with no ties to his family, those feelings would drown in guilt and ill emotions. So, Lance would avoid that, he never hurt anyone that hadn’t hurt or threatened him or his family first. Just like he’d avoid scaring and hurting his new family with his blood ties. His Blood Right.

           Lance didn’t realize just how hard that would be to avoid.

           Secrets don’t hide in the dark forever after all.

10. MS-13

La Mara Salvatrucha, commonly known as MS or MS-13, is a street gang started in the 1980s by El Salvadoran transplants living in Los Angeles. In the years since it has spread internationally; from Mexico, to Canada, to El Salvador, to all parts of the United States including Texas, Maryland, and even Washington D.C. MS-13 is one of the biggest and most violent drug gangs in the world. Members of MS-13 are easily recognizable because they are heavily into tattoos, most commonly the letters ‘MS’ or the number ’13’ is incorporated into the tattoos, and they really like face tattoos; some MS-13 members will even get a huge ’13’ tattoo that covers their entire face to show their commitment.

9. Primeiro Comando da Capital (Brazil)

The Primeiro Comando da Capital of São Paulo is generally considered to be the largest street gang in Brazil. If their 13,000 or so members over 5,000 are currently incarcerated, and the gang has as much influence inside of prison as it does on the outside. Formed by prisoners in the 1990s, the Primeiro are known for dealing drugs, committing murder, trafficking arms, and plenty of kidnapping. In 2012 after a dispute with some local police, the Primeiro Comando da Capital erupted and incited a huge riot during which they killed hundreds of people, including police officers.

8. 18th Street Gang, Los Angeles

18th Street is one one of the oldest Hispanic gangs in Los Angeles and is generally considered to be the largest street gang in LA with around 15,000 members and there are as many as 20 different sub-gangs that fall under the umbrella of 18th Street. 18th Street was formed in the 1960s, appropriately near the intersection of 18th Street and Union Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. Their criminal activities range from drug-dealing to car theft, burglary, and home invasions. In the past ten years alone 18th Street has been found responsible for over 250 deaths.

7. Area Boys (Lagos, Nigeria)

The Area Boys are a gang of mostly street children and teenagers in Lagos, Nigeria. Don’t let their youthful membership fool you; although the Area Boys members are young, they are one of the most vicious gangs in the world. They are known for dealing drugs, committing extortion, and robbing people in broad daylight. They will threaten, beat, and rob people in very high-profile places like public markets and buss stops. They also hire their services out, as a sort of ‘thugs-for-hire’ business. In 2005 a Nigerian military soldier tried to stop a group of Area Boys from robbing a bus driver, they subsequently stabbed the soldier to death.

6. La Eme (Mexican Mafia)

La Eme are one of the most notorious prison gangs on earth. If you’ve seen the movies ‘American Me’ or ‘Blood In/Blood Out (Bound By Honor)’ then you have already seen the Hollywood version of how this gang started. Imprisoned gangsters Rodolfo Cadina and Joe ‘Pegleg’ Morgan were founding members of La Eme while serving time at the Deuel Vocational Prison in the late 50s. Since then La Eme has become the gang that most Southern California gangbangers become affiliated with when they enter the prison system. Their strict honor code includes rules against infighting, cowardice, and disrespect and they have been connected with contract killings both inside and outside the prison walls.

5. Wah Ching

Wah Ching is an asian street gang that was started by Chinese American youths in San Francisco in the 1960s. ‘Wah Ching’ means ‘Chinese Youth’ but today the Wah Ching has members of other asian nationalities, including vietnamese. In the 70’s the Wah Ching had a legendary shootout with the Joe Boys in what became known as the ‘Golden Dragon Massacre’, where 5 people were murdered and 11 more hospitalized. Since then the Wah Ching have kept their operation more or less quiet, but rumor has it that the Wah Ching is as active as ever and people who cross them don’t get away lightly.

4. Yakuza

The Yakuza is an international crime syndicate founded and focused in Japan. They are the largest and most strictly organized criminal organization in the world; there are an estimated 100,000 members in this gang! The Yakuza’s main criminal activities include political racketeering, prostitution, financial crimes, and gambling. The history of the Yakuza goes all the way back to the 17th Century when Ronin warriors ran around with swords. “Yakuza” is a term from a Japanese card game (Oicho-Kabu) which means ‘worthless’ or ‘pointless’ which reflects the way the Yakuza view themselves: as outsiders.

3. Los Zetas

Ever hear about the infamous Mexican drug cartels? You know, like those in Breaking Bad and End of Watch? Well Los Zetas are the biggest and baddest of all the Mexican cartels. They are also one of the most militant and technologically advanced; In fact, Los Zetas was started in the late 1999’s when an entire Mexican special forces unit actually defected to join a drug cartel. That’s right, this cartel is run by former military men! Los Zetas have been found responsible for several mass-murders, including the San Fernando Massacre in 2011 which left 190 dead, and the Monterrey Casino Attack which left over 50 dead. Los Zetas are known for beheading the bodies of their victims before disposing of them.

2. Triads

The triads are a large network of Asian gangs that date all the way back to 17th Century China, but today Triads can be found in China as well as Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, New Zealand, and even the United Kingdom and U.S. One of largest and most discreet crime organizations in the world, the Triads participate in pedestrian criminal activity like drug trafficking,, murder for hire, and prostitution, but they are also known for much more sophisticated criminal activity including counterfeiting and even a health care fraud ring that was busted up in Japan in 2012.

The Mafia, The Mob, The Family, La Cosa Nostra, it goes by many names, but none are official, as members will swear up and down that this organization doesn’t exist. The Italian mob which is mostly active in the United States and Sicily is probably the most infamous organized crime syndicate in the world. Lionized in such classic films as ‘The Godfather’ trilogy, Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, and countless more, the mob rose to great heights in America thanks to prohibition. Prohibition laid the groundwork for smuggling and bootlegging which can largely be held responsible for laying the groundwork for organized crime drug smuggling that still exists today. Although many people think of The Mafia as a relic of the past, they are actually still very active today in activities including extortion, murder-for-hire, political corruption, racketeering and arms trafficking.

Experiments, Manga & Child Safety

WOW!!! This week’s episode is out of this world and filled with Lunatics, parks and just outright fun in the powder or snow. NASA is planning on sending people back to the moon and are starting to plan missions in advance with an eye to researching developments for future exploration. That’s right folks, it may not be 1999 but Moonbase Alpha is finally looking at becoming a reality. Plus there are going to be new buggies and other equipment being sent to the moon so the Astronauts will have something to play with when they arrive next. Wonder if they will find that hidden base full of Nazis on the dark side of the moon or transformers?

Next we look into why Manga sales are taking over the U.S comic sales. Could it be the fact that the subject matter is just so much cooler, fun and broad? Or is it part of some plot to take over the world and they are brain washing us all? Hmmm, if this was an anime episode we would now include a musical interlude. The scene, while our heroes wander the country looking for the answer our work on computers calculating and plotting what is happening. This is when the nutty and bumbling sidekick runs around in circles and makes a mess and eats lots of fried chicken. Jeepers, we are living in an anime, now I want my ramen and feel an overwhelming need to run down the street with my arms flung behind me screaming. Nope, not happening, oh well, such a shame.

We have a number of articles linked in the notes that have information that can help parents develop strategies aimed at helping protect their dirt magnets, children or teenage food disposal units. There are some really good points and suggestions in this, but as we aren’t parents we are unable to offer any expert advice. Origins for Super Mario Characters Name

No one seems to be sure the reason they went that direction, however. In Japan, she was regarded as Princess Peach from day one. The title did not debut here until 1993, when Yoshi's Safari arrived on the scene for Super Nintendo. (By the manner by which -- have you played Yoshi's Safari? Bowser.

In Japan, there's simply no Bowser. He's simply known as the King Koopa (or comparable variants, like Great Demon King Koopa). And so where did Bowser come from?
