Im not a fan of how this drawing looks, but goddamm i spent to much time on it

designs for my take on a species swap au

a little short summary of it:

instead of the swollen eyeball its the "take over earth club" (dorky name but what do you expect from red and purple) instead about hunting the paranormal, its just kinda a dorky club, where people who hate everything around them team up and plan to over throw or to cause riots for fun and what not, dib is a irken scientist and comes to earth to study the materials there, and to have a safe hide out to make weapons and technology for the tallest (prof membrane) though he gets distracted by the cryptids there on earth, finding them way more interesting than his mission, zim is some rowdy kid who instead of hating things around him just wants to take over the world, he doesn’t suspect dib until dib openly uses his tech outside the skool, zim wants to take dibs weapons and take over earth with them, stuff like that, zims brother red finds zim very annoying and tries to exclude him from the club, giving him fake missions like to steal supplies from the skool or just stupid things, gir is purples brother and spends a lot of time with zim cause purple leaves gir to zim to babysit him, gaz was one of the soldiers who guarded the labs that dib worked at and was sent to “watch over” him (she doesn’t really care about him cause she knows he can do things by himself) tak is a member of the TOE club, and tries her best to do the most for red and purple and what not, sort of the same in the show

zim is 16 and dib is 17

gir is 8

gaz and tak are 15

red and purple are 18 and 19

I’ll add more to this or fix some things once I have a set story, this is just a summary to what I have right now!!!

Zim is wearing the same PJs from my previous post and dib is wearing his PJs from issue 37 because that's the only time I remember seeing him in pajamas

Day 4: detention

I made this drawing a liiitle while ago. And by that I mean about four years- I still really like it though, as well as the character.

This is Kit, my IZ OC. I recently regained my interest in Invader Zim so I'm blorbing real hard about her lol

So basically her dad was a classmate of Professor Membrane who was like, always the number 2, and he was obsessed with him, in being better than him and making him look bad.

And that obsession made him into first just a kid who would try to sabotage his inventions to get a little first place ribbon to a mad scientist who was put in jail for his destructive inventions.

Aaand he happens to have a daughter, who he never paid much attention to because he was too busy obsessing over a guy who's completely oblivious to his hate. And he passed on this hate to her, so she's obsessed in destroying the Membranes, but mostly Dib. In her mind, he has the life she should have, a good home, fame, and a present father (let's not talk about the fact that Professor Membrane isn't THAT present but it's her perception, okay).

I honestly love her conflict because when she gets to meet Dib she manipulates him and tries to kill him, and overtime she changes her own appearance and starts looking more and more like him, to the point of getting a coat and dyeing her hair black, as well as trying to capture Zim (so she would be doing something Dib never could and therefore is better than him), and when that doesn't work out she tries to take over earth herself (yes, her, just a little human girl).

She's obsessed with proving she's better than him im every way and doesn't realize she's fallen too far down this hole and she has no other purpose in life.

So yeah I really like this character and I'd love to write her arc, I am not modest in saying I think I did a pretty great job with her.

Since Dib and Gaz are clones here's some headcannons.

-the DNA used to make Dib and Gaz were taken from membrane when he was in highschool or college and frozen.

-membrane was the host for his children as well as the donor

-since clones only live as long as the donor naturally has left to live from when the DNA was extracted, professor membrane genetically modified his children to have longer life spans.
