39. Kissing tears from the other’s face.
The day had been exhausting.
Yuto had stepped outside to smoke while the other three had finally settled in, fast asleep with stomachs full on Yuto’s dime. Somehow, that had been the highlight of his day, getting robbed in broad daylight but getting to bask in the laughter and good moods of his team. After the day they had, they deserved a break, even if it left Yuto wondering how he might survive the rest of the week.
This overwhelming anger sat heavy on his chest as he recalled the earlier incident. Not just Shion, but Ryoga as well, were subject to an unnecessary cruelty; Yuto had seen their fight to change, to consider their future and yet they were still treated like it wasn’t enough. Maybe it was true that their path to rehabilitation was far from over, but shouldn’t their efforts be recognized? When he got worked up like this is when his blackouts happened, yet he remained entirely too aware of the rage coursing through his veins.
It was quick to turn to despair, asking himself honestly if anything would ever change. Was he having any effect on his team? Or was he even good enough to inspire this change in them? His heart ached yet his thoughts were blank, unable to find a remedy for what ailed him most.
Yuto had only given you a hint of what occurred earlier that day, not going into much detail before he stopped replying altogether. You expected to get more of an update during your daily nightly call with him yet the minutes ticked on and your phone had a severe lack of notifications. If he was upset with what happened earlier, you could predict that he was caught up in his thoughts, probably out in the cold night air smoking a cigarette and feeling sorry for himself. You supposed it was your right as his lover to give a little late-night visit, if not just to assure yourself that little Kenta hadn’t torn him to literal shreds yet.
When you approached, you could see that he was lost in his thoughts, his cigarette nearly completely burned out, likely to touch his fingertips if he didn’t put it out soon. You took it from his hand and threw it to the ground yourself, stomping it out as Yuto’s eyes came back into focus. He looked at you like you were a ghost, his face even paler in the moonlight as he scrambled to retrieve his phone, which was placed on silent in his back pocket. He almost bowed in apology but his attempted movement was stopped when you placed a hand on his shoulder, looking at him with a tilted head and a questioning look.
“Yuto…” He wished you didn’t call his name so sweetly; it was like when someone finally asked a person who had been wallowing in self-pity all day long what was wrong. A dam had broken and he could no longer hold back, the tears gathering in the corners of his eyes as he felt this might be a new pathetic low for him.
“I’m sorry,” He muttered out weakly, “I’m not… I don’t think I’m strong enough—”
“Now, now,” You chided him gently, cupping his cheek with one hand and pulling him close to you. “You don’t have to cry, I promise, things aren’t as bad as they seem.”
Bold words, coming from someone who didn’t know what had gone down that day, but even he was kept in the dark about the latter half of it. His anxiety spiked again as he worried about what he might have said or done while he wasn’t fully aware, the tears streaking down his cheeks in another sad scene. You tried not to let it get to you, no matter how much it hurt seeing him distressed like this, going back and forth between kissing his cheeks to catch his tears. You almost treated it like a game, seeing how many you could kiss away before they slid completely down his chin, and you earned a chuckle out of him before the water works were finally plugged up.
“Do you feel a little better now?”
“A little.” Yuto agreed, holding your hands to his wet face, not willing to part with your warmth and comfort yet. “Thank you for visiting.”
“Oh, always a pleasure.”
You knew that you weren’t going to learn what happened that night, but whoever was responsible for Yuto’s tears was going to have an unhappy awakening when you finally got your hands on them.

⭐S/o would have not only a caring and sweet husband who would also be there each time they need to be listened or to be comforted
⭐But also a selfishless man who would totally respect mc's time and needs of affection!
⭐Like, if mc doesn't like PDA, then he won't force them to PDA!
⭐Otherwise, he would be clingy and constantly hugging them, showing how much he supports and loves them
⭐I also can picture them both laying on the couch and watching some animes
⭐Maybe they would read some mangas or light novels together as well!
⭐Or they can adorably listening to music, sharing earphones!
⭐In short, they would look like those cute couples in horror movies (the ones who got killed first- oof xD sorry-)
⭐Also I headcanon Ichiro being the one cooking most of the times
⭐He'd cook with his s/o, it's true, but...
⭐ I cannot hide the fact that in my opinion he would keep an eye on them only to be sure that they won't get hurt!
⭐And if s/o didn't know how to cook and got hurt, then Ichiro would rush and grab some ice to put it on their hand:

the best lover u could ever have. no i’m not biased i swear :’)
absolutely loves the idea of coming home to you. however its not a common occurance nor do the both of you live together. he has to be on site for his job unfortunately.
wants to travel the world with you, perhaps not now but it is a goal i can see him working towards. yuto keeps a small journal and notes on the places he watches from those travel channels. hint: he wants to take you to them
loves to hold you, hand in hand, a warm hug, you face when he kisses you. yuto’s love language being physical touch though with a bit of words of affection at intimate times.
anyways…. yuto is a forehead kisser. height does not matter to him, he just loves to kiss your forehead.
has thought about marriage but isn’t the type to rush or pursue it despite his age. sure the aunties he’s acquainted with would tease him and pester about it but that’s all there is to it.
security is very important to him, not just for himself but for you too. once yuto is sure of this he would definitely want to settle down with you, no doubt.
he gets you a stalk of flower on your first date. not a fancy first date either, yuto took you to a quiet restaurant one that only you could find by poking around the city long enough. sees you to your door when he sends you back too.
when you discovered/met HANCHO, yuto believed you’d leave him for it. not true of course but it could happen. it was a topic he briefly touched upon while you were still getting to know each other and you didn’t understand the weight of what he meant until now.
now i think HANCHO would feel some sense of familiarity and affection though not to the extent of what you have with yuto. would be more distant but more so of not really know how to act around you. might just disappear for a while until yuto comes back around.

You didn’t know at first that you were tempting fate.
Your frustrations from that day were coming out on Yuto, attacking him despite his attempts to soothe you. It was an entirely unfair situation but the way he tried to smooth things over made you even more upset. He should be cursing back and telling you that he doesn’t deserve to be treated that way! Why was he so damn understanding?! How could you even be mad and faulting him for that? You were so fucking frustrated you just wanted to scream, and you could tell you were setting Yuto on edge.
“Yu-Yuto…!”
You let out a gasp as your face is pushed down hard into the pillow in front of you, so quick you’re seeing stars. The action was clear, don’t raise your head up again, but you tried to subtly look behind you at the man who was fucking you so hard you could feel the soreness already. Blood-red eyes meet yours and you let out a squeal as your ass is slapped hard, Hancho’s fingers digging into your hip as his pace grew even more relentless.
You had already been denied orgasm countless times, fucked from your couch to your bedroom until you could barely walk. That didn’t matter to him, this was your punishment which meant you didn’t get a say. You weren’t complaining exactly, not resisting the rough sex you knew you’d deserve. The gentle sex, the loving, romantic sex, that was all for your sweet Yuto. The side of you that wanted to be bruised and bitten, that was where Hancho truly shined.
You can feel the imprint of his teeth marks in your shoulder but your entire body is an overload of sensations, so you’re sure there’s more bites you’ll find later. Your hips are sore from his tight grip but he refused to lighten up, not when you had to repent for how you treated Yuto. You had whined out your apology, begged him to forgive you, but he refused to accept your weak cries.
“You think twice before arguing next time, won’t you?” Hancho hissed out, pulling you back up by your hair; it felt good and he knew it did, probably the only reason he had brought you up the way. The other thing you never did with Hancho was kiss but you’re tempted now as he pulled you into a more upright position, strong arms wrapped around you.
“I want my Yuto back, to apologize…” You panted, licking your lips. He stared at you hard before pushing you back down on the bed, hand running along your back and pressing gently against your spine; he had you completely splayed out on the bed, legs spread as wide as they could go as your stomach hit the blankets. You feel him come, the wetness between your legs leaking out.
You’re tired, exhausted actually, eyes sliding shut for a few brief moments until you feel a sudden weight flop beside you on the bed. You’re too tired to see if it’s your boyfriend or your punisher but you wait, and wait, and wait, until finally you’re woken up by gentle kisses to your temple.
“Hey there… did I…” Yuto seemed a little hesitant to ask but you were relieved to see him back; you tried to keep the grimace off your face as you turned over to face him, arms opened to show you wanted his affection. His eyes lit up at that, happy that the fight was over, likely having no idea what kind of lesson you were just taught.
“I’m sorry, Yuto, I didn’t mean to take my anger out on you.” You brushed some of his hair from his face, caressing the soft cheeks you loved to kiss so much. “You didn’t deserve it.”
“A-ah… I know you didn’t mean it and you were just upset… still, it did make me sad too…”
“I’m sorry. What can I do to make it up to you?”
“No-nothing! Fights happen with couples, right? It’s not problem…”
“I’ll make you some breakfast tomorrow before work then.” You were slow with your movements, nose brushing against his briefly before you leaned in closer to press your lips against his; they moved in unison, a warm, passionate kiss shared between two people who loved each other dearly.
“…I would like that, thank you.”
Now, all you had to do was actually be able to walk tomorrow.
