@asoulunbound asked: there are things that you say ,  and you don’t say . (Perses for Pallas)
Pallas's features scrunched up as Perses lectured him. He was the middle brother beyond age but position, standing in between his brothers and their father...or their own egos and poor judgement. The protector despite his destructive manner. He could cool Pallas's temperament but he was too late to the latest crisis in their family. Pallas worked alone, knowing either of his brothers would disagree. But he was hot headed, often impulsive and didn't consider others. Selfish and overly protective. To protect his family, he often found himself at odds with extremes. And perhaps this was the worst yet. He could see that now but not in his rage and concern (they were still present but now considerate of their mother and forthcoming sibling).
"And you don't think I've been beating myself up for what I've done? The mere suggestion of having our mother terminate her pregnancy? I thought it could keep Crius away from her. She could finally be free of him with no final ties. Thinking her last lover could help," Pallas paused and a gulp ran down his throat. The scene his wife described to him sounded like pure horror and a fate he was thankful to be spared from. He already suffered by the hands of his father enough.

"Styx saw the Ram drag him into Tartarus. Tortured him before sacrificing him as a prisoner. And now here we are...Mother passing through each of us to avoid the Ram. She'll end up going back to him as she always does but we can try prolonging her return. He has stopped by your home for mother has he?" Pallas questioned his brother, crossing his arms against his chest. It wasn't safe for their mother to be alone; her first stop was Astraeus's and now Perses's. But he couldn't predict if Eurybia would stay with him and Styx given his involvement in the first place is what displaced her.

@asoulunbound asked: "You'll have my support if you decide to marry Styx, brother," Pallas would always have Perses' support, even if the brothers didn't always agree on everything. The older was the emotional and sometimes rash one, whereas the middle brother was calm and deliberate. But they had a bond no one could ever sever. "but think first, please. Don't marry her just to infuriate Crius. Marry her because you love her and want to spend your life with her! That should be primary reason!"
Pallas leaned against the wall, crossing his arms as a smirk emulating their father’s grew on his lips. “And what about both, brother? Marry her because I adore Styx and because it will enrage our sire?” He asked his younger brother. Perses faired himself the level headed one amongst the Creionides despite his own destructive nature. When it came to their family, he was often preventing such disasters than encouraging them. It would be the exact opposite with Styx...his supporter in his hate and resentment toward Crius. She enjoyed the thought of angering Crius as much as he did; it made her the perfect mate for him.

“Aren’t I not doing what our sire wants? Marry a worthy mate and produce more heirs for his precious legacy? I just beat him to arranging me first. Who was he going to match me with? Leto? Asteria? Could you imagine?” Pallas snickered as he shook his head. “Styx and I...we will get what we want from each other. A marriage based on mutual understanding but we do genuinely care for each other. As much as I want to get back at father, I can’t do that with someone I have no interest in. It’s a win win situation.”
Pallas’s face though grew cold quickly and leaned in closer to his brother to present him with a warning. “My marriage to Styx will be our little secret for now, Perses. If Crius finds out, he’ll try to stop it and everything would be ruined. He’ll know...in time. And so will mother. I won’t have anyone spoiling this...not even you, brother.”
