4:43 PM] TOBY: spoiler for the genius S1 and 2 [4:46 PM] TOBY: yesterday I was thinking that this season was rules of the game - F3 with two people that had never been to the death match, puzzle based final MM with myself as jinho, crow as sangmin (winning a bunch of MMs and getting tokens), and cora as kyungran (core of several joint wins, incredible social game, also avoided every DM). however, now it looks like this season is rulebreaker. F3 with someone who has gone on a series of MM win/token of life streaks (crow as sangmin), a finalist who has avoided garnets and won significantly fewer matches (cora as yohwan) and someone that nobody really wanted around that went on an unexpected DM win streak (me as junghyun). so. if superstition holds, this looks bad for me y'all

The Genius season 2 final

Oh yeah! So glad Sangmin won. I wanted to diss the show for including a Poker game in the final even though one of contestants is a pro poker player, and for including games depending on your social relationships (though they fortunately played it fair), but nah, I"m just happy now.

Sangmin was the lead character during whole two seasons and in my opinion, in the last stages of S2, he didn't really have a match. I didn't notice Yohwan's doings at all. And I must say, I'm happy for Kkong-ie, he's finally bet Yohwan after the years :)

But the thing I wonder about the most.. how could Hongchul gain 17kg during a month?!

Omg I cannot Yohwan anymore. So damn freaking annoying. Whenever his plan is not working, he just do whatever to mess up everyone else’s plan. Teaming up with him is not a good idea at all. I feel bad for Junghyun (although they’re not officially in alliance but…)

I seriously miss Jinho in The Genius. Him and his genius plans. After he’s gone, there’s not a moment that I can go “ah! It can work out that way as well! GENIUS!”. Everything became so predictable. So shallow. Main mission is only to win for the week. Personally I like it more when there’s alliance and they help each other sincerely or sacrifice for them to win and rely upon them to save them from death match. Even when there’s betrayal, it was so much better. Now it’s just “I hope you die, as long as not me”.
