first of all, i'm fucking dying. ANNIE THE REVIEWS? the fact that you took the time to curate this is hilariously wonderful and i love you for it!! you're a gem and i love you and your description of the fic is pretty much spot on, so i'm glad the vibes carried over.

second, i feel pretty good about posting. i'll be honest, sharing any sort of oc content kind of makes me want to throw up but everyone's been super nice (as per usual) so we let the brain rot continue!!

Dubious meetup - Upright

Lynette kept her eyes on the chatroom that was opened on her tablet. The unchanged text Someone is joining! and the three dots have been haunting her for the past five minutes. Her chat partner that she was set up with must've been busy. All she did for those tormenting minutes is play with her floppy ears, but immediately let them fall onto her shoulder the moment the chat updated.

After reading it, she couldn't help but notice the lack of information in the fast profile, but regardless she greeted the chat partner as soon as her friend left the chatroom.

Linny: Hello! IronFang: hello IronFang: what do you want to know or do?

Lynettes hands hovered over the keyboard after that quick message. Well whoever this was, they didn't beat around the bush. She started typing: I would like to have a m, then quickly deleted it. She thought if she started with her actual reason, she would've been quickly dropped, since how ridicoulus it was.

Linny: General dirt on the company, about the c regulations or the mass mergers IronFang: stories or documents? Linny: Anecdotes mostly IronFang: ill see what i can do

She lifted her hands up to gently rub the bridge of her nose. This was way too easy. Yes, chat group was to hook up reporters looking for a scoop, and people who are deep in scoopable secret situations, but this was way too easy. Her hands returned to the screen.

Linny: Can I ask something personal? Ironfang: what Linny: What are you contracted to work? IronFang: im not answering that Linny: or like which branch? IronFang: im not telling

Both of them typed at the same time, and when they noticed they both stopped. The awkward pause could be felt through the ethernet. Lynette was the first start typing again.

Linny: How do I know that you aren’t egging me on?

Then, she waited for a response. And it did come, however strange it was.

IronFang: im in one of the dressing room rn IronFang: if i take a picture of someone in the same room, will you believe me? Linny: I have to see the picture first A picture was sent in the third channel!

Lynette looked at the picture and froze. One of the main stars, the husky sat in front of a vanity table, listlessly painted her fur in a room full of stuff. Different paints, clothes were thrown all over the room, next to her a half drank iced coffe sat on a table. She copied the image and reverse image searched it. No identical copies showed up, only similar ones, but those were much more flattering.

Linny: Okay, I believe you. Linny: And you can talk to other employees about it safely? IronFang: yes i joined late so theyre more likely to tell me IronFang: and i can sneak some papers from the office Linny: Are you sure? Aren’t they kind of confidential? IronFang: yes but they trust me IronFang: is linny your real name

This was a bit of a curveball for her. Was it really that obvious?

Linny: Abbreviation of it, yes IronFang: Next time change it, i will change it too IronFang: ill invite you when i get some info IronFang: then change name

Whoops, she should've thought about it a bit more, but hey, this was her first time.

Linny: Okay IronFang: im leaving bye Linny: Bye

She kept staring at her screen as IronFang left the chatroom, as if they were in a hurry. Well, it was abrupt, and now her supposed partner in crime was gone, but all she could do is hope that they will actually return with real information. She plugged in the tablet to charge it, then she stood up to leave the room, while holding onto her ears again.

ok so here we are @ the anon who went on a long rant (i literally had to draw a mind map to remember everything that happened sjjsjs)

for the people who maybe wanna give advice or feel like.... reading the story; here's some context:

okay so like stated in this answer here i think that this isn't agains you as a person but maybe shes just not in the mood for people like you? as in it could be that she doesn't want to talk to you about this specific topic. (this sounds so harsh im sorry i dont mean it like that im just bad w words sjjsj) which doesn't mean that she doesn't like you. there's also a possibility that she mostly isn't in the mood to hang out and that you always get her on the wrong time ((*insert "i do that" vine*))

also,, maybe try asking m if she's sure about how s is feeling rn or if m's just bad at reading feelings, which is also possible.

s could feels kinda like... yall grew apart just a bit bc of your internship and stuff? idk your history or how long you've been friends for but sometimes this can happen after long periods of time. the simple way to fix this is just hang out once!!

i'm not sure what advice to give you but if i were in your shoes, i'd take her out for like a coffe ((or chai latte bc shit's good)) ((also idk if you're broke or not but it personally makes me so happy when someone buys a me warm drink like. yes)) and talk for a bit casually you know? get that feeling of familiarity back again before you try something more that that. a steady foundation is always a good start!

hello i wrote this when i was really tired and im still really tired and i cant stop thinking of solangelo so yeah this is a thing now and its probably crap cuz im really fukin tired so yeah i didnt even proofread it thats fun

warnings: idk sleep deprivation, a mention of malnutrition and dehydration?

im really tired and idk why like sure its 1 in the morning rn but ive been staying up til 2 every night this summer and ive only ever been really tired today like wtf

"Nico? Nico!" I blinked out of my trance, turning my gaze to Will. "Uh, Neeks, you-" He quickly snatches a coffee pot away from me. I stared down, realizing it had started spilling over. Will sighs. "How much sleep did you get last night?"

"Plenty. I'm fine, don't even worry about it." I mumbled out, taking a sip of coffee before gagging. "Ugh, so bitter." I reached over to the creamer and sugar. Will reached over and grabbed my hand, taking the coffe out of my other and putting it down on the table. "I think you've had enough of that, okay? Come on." I grabbed a bagel on the way to the Apollo table, Will sitting me down. "You're going to eat, and then you're gonna go get some rest, okay?"

"Will, I told you, I'm fine."

"No you're not. I mean, you always have bags under your eyes but this is just ridiculous." I munched on the bagel silently. I heard Kayla and Austin just snickering as they watched me continue to try and grab at Will's coffee. Will gave me his typical dissapointed doctor look, before staring into my soul and taking a loud slurp of coffee. I tore off a piece of my bagel and flicked it at him, hitting him right in the nose. The bagel then dropped right into his coffee with a small splash. Will looked up at me, blinking. I continued to casually eat my bagel. Will sighed, downing his cup of coffee and spitting the piece of bagel out at me. I whined, trying to dodge it and failing miserably. Will laughed triumphantly before standing up and pulling me up with him. "Come on, Death Breath. It's time for bed."

"Nooo..." I whined, before Shadow-Travelling a few feet and falling right in front of Jason and Percy, who abruptly stopped their conversation about shoelaces and yelped, backing away. They then realized it was me, then saw Will walking up to me, an annoyed look on his cute-ass face. "What bodily function is Nico neglecting this time?" Jason asked with a sigh. Will looked down at me, as I crawled back up to a standing position with a yawn. "Sleep, what else?"

The three of them led me into my cabin and Will sets me down on my bed. When he had begun carrying me I wasn't sure but he was. "get some sleep, okay, Nico? Please?" I whine, grabbing him by his shirt. "Don't leave." I hear Percy coo in the distance. "Aww, he whines like a little puppy!"

I feel myself go in and out of conciousness. "I'm gonna...beat your motherfuckin ass Jackson." I mumble out. I feel Will lie down next to me and some kind of blanket is laid on top of me. The door to my cabin closed as Percy and Jason leave. "Sleep tight, Nico." Will whispers into my ear. I slowly fall asleep to the gentle beat of his heart.

but I'm not too much if a horror movie kind of person, really. I've seen The Ring once and ... I think that's about it xD Mainly because I have a quite vivid imagination and wouldn't be able to sleep for two weeks after seeing a horror movie, haha. But I really adore Tim Burton movies!!
