I like to imagine that anytime social media slap fights go to far or humans start panicking about international relations because they don't understand the relationships that exist between nations, the nations are forced to put out formal press releases.

But half the time the press releases, even after many edits by political communication professionals, have undeniable snark because nations don't like doing them.
