Every time I take some time off for myself, something fucked up happens. Over the summer, my family I was visiting 11 hours from home all got norovirus and me and my brother were trapped in a house by ourselves for a few days before flying back. In January, my plans got canceled and I stayed home only to be stressing over -20 degree weather in my drafty apartment trying to keep the temperatures in the upper 60s.

Now, instead of relaxing and sleeping in for my annual birthday time off, I'm taking care of Chili who ate something so bad this time she's got it coming out both ends. What she ate, I have no idea because she's a hoover vacuum and swallows shit whole off the sidewalk before I can yank it out of her mouth. Just hoping she doesn't get any worse or we're off to the emergency vet for a fun $500 vet bill.
