We laugh about the cringe and insanity of scoy, but it's really part of the larger message of acceptance. These characters are embarrassing, they're insecure, they're different, and most importantly, they're accepted and loved.

And there's something beautiful about the way this show is loud and unashamed of this by adamantly refusing to conform or make itself palatable.
