My first post

This is my first post on Tumblr during the tools for communication and collaboration training at iampus, Carey street, Monrovia Liberia.

The educational sectors of the Republic of Liberia.

     A saying goes 'Education is the key to success'. Every person within a country should be given equal opportunities to acquire quality education. A suitable environment should be provided for students to learn.

There are many factors that affects the educational sectors in our country. Some of these factors that are affecting our universities are: Employment of unprofessional instructors, Library stuck with books that are out-dated, Unequipped science labs, Some students are not really interested the lessons provided by the instructors and Some instructors do not have passion for helping students learn their lessons, there is no accountable record of each student.

Therefore, I recommend to the administration of the university that: There should be  fixed system placed to give transparent and reliable accounts of the student with in the institution. Libraries should be well organized with books that are up-to-date, the labs should be renovated and well equipped, and there should be well trained teachers that have gone under a certain levels of evaluation.There should be dialogues set for students and teachers in order to know each other better.

Developing a well school system is for the benefits of both students and instructors and that of the administration. With one passion and desire, together we can build a peaceful nation.

"My reaction on the Social Media Training attended at iLab Liberia"

One of the most intrigiung things that happen to us was when our instructor Mr. Carter Draper was ill and had to stay away from class for about two days. I actually felt so sorry about his illness and couldn't wait to see him recover. But with God all things are certainly possible. He was able to return to work and we resume tranning immediately.

I will like ro use this medium to say a big "THANK YOU" to the management and staff of this noble institution for giving us Liberia youths the opportunity to explore the internet and have free access to their facilities. I will also like to use this medium to say abig thank you to our wonderful trainer Mr. Carter Draper for a splendid jod well done.

Their rules and guideline are very unique. It includes asking for Help, quiet please, sign in and out, don't change a tuiet please, sign in and out, don't change a tuiet please, sign in and out, don't change a thing, no sticks, professional use only, keep it clean, etc.

It helps create and mold the minds of youths, organizations, career people and so many more.For me iLab Liberia should continue their good works and in doing so make Liberia a better nation.

This training was organized by the JHR and held at the iLab Liberia facility on 20 St. Sinkor, Liberia. iLab is a technology (Computer) lab that train people with primary  computer knowledge in various computer programs. Such as: mastering the INTERNET, social media training and a lot more.

At this training I learn to create and work with google+ account, twitter account, and tumblr account. As of the end of the training I can say that I am a Human right journalist who can also report by online social media and not only by news paper or radio broadcasting.

My overall reaction about the social media training at iLabLiberia.

The training at iLabLiberia is like challenging but very important to people who want to know about there sorrounding. Understanding that iLabLiberia in partnership with Lonestar cell (one of the best GSM company in Liberia) have provided a free means for educating interesting Liberian about the current cotrolling tool of the world (technology) some one like me should be on the front to participate. Been a participant, I have learned several importance about what I saw to be less-important; I have now the knowledge and the abaility to navigate the world for: Support, Imformation, and other things that call my attention. So my reaction at iLabLiberia is jest APPRECIATION by been on time, and been attentivie to what I am Learning.

The social media class at ilabliberia has really been a great help to me. Because of this training, I have got to know how to tweet and how to use Google plus which I didn't know. I'm really grateful to ilab especially the trainer who took me through this course, Carter Draper.
