"Thanks for coming Shark, Astral!" III had a warm smile, satisfied after finally managing to get them all together.

"It's a double date, dou-ble da-teー!" Yuma grabbed Shark by the arm, pulling him closer, the two of them blushing and Yuma feeling all giddy inside, since it's been a while he's seen him.

Ryoga was always so "busy" ー but it was not quite it... he didn't want to face Yuma ー and there was never time to hang out with his friends, or rather: him.

"G-get off me, Yuma!" Ryoga protests, knowing too well how touchy-feely Yuma was. It was awkward because, for so long, Ryoga has loved him, "Hey, I'm serioー"

"Shark," Astral's calm demeanor and hushed voice immediately drew all attention to him. Out of the many ways this could go, he presumed Shark would shove Yuma away and would get even more aggravated, deciding to quit this "double date" of theirs. It was also a bother to have Yuma do that... although he would not admit it to them.

Ryoga sighs and stops struggling. Yuma, sheepishly, recoils. It was as if Astral reprimanded him, even though it was not him he called for. They remained in their separate ways, and had lives of their own. Yuma had III, and Astral had Shark, they were happy as they could be.

Yuma couldn't help but worry though. After all, Astral and Shark were very important people to him, ones he held the closest to his heart, ones who were very hard to reach, too, a contrast to his outgoing and blatant self.

It was possible he was one of the last persons to know about their relationship. It was not a secret but yes, they were very discreet about it, and they were dreading the day Yuma would find out. Thankfully, III would come to their aid and everything was as smooth as it could be ー that date? It was his idea and it took him a while to convince Shark. He knew doing that would strengthen their bonds. Astral also thought in a similar way.

As the day went on, Yuma had this strange feeling in the back of his mind. Astral and Shark were not acting any different than before, it didn't even look like they were together! He can't remember seeing them touching at all either. Astral was "whole" now so he should be able to materialize his body anywhere, instead he was floating as usual, invisible to regular eyes.

Perceptive, III could tell how different things were between those two. Unlike Yuma, he was one of the first to figure out what was happening between Astral and Shark. In many ways, he believed he was to "blame" for it, because he "took" Yuma from them. But he never felt such hostility from them, it was more of a deep sorrow aimed at Yuma, as if it was caused by him.

He could see Astral's deep glances towards his partner, keeping his physical distance while being completely bonded emotionally. He could also see how subtle Ryoga would move and lean towards Astral, not looking straight at him, nor seeking his touch, but acknowledging his presence, maybe even looking for some silent reassurance or approval.

They pause in an empty area of the park they were strolling on, after buying some drinks and Yuma is wide-eyed. Before he has time to do or say anything, III squeezes his hand so that he can look at him, and places a finger on his own lips. Yuma nods, nervous, and they both turn to look at the other two.

"Hmm, this is tasty," Ryoga was relieved to sit down after so long and have something to drink. He turns to Astral, floating besides him, "Do you want to try it?" He extends his arm to him.

Astral approaches him, tilting Shark's head by his chin, kissing him passionately for a few seconds, "Yes, it's very tasty," he goes back to the place where he was floating before, not without stealing a glance at Yuma and III first.

Ryoga kind of... expected something like that to happen. Yuma was a touchy subject for both of them, but it didn't make it any less embarrassing for him. It also felt good, that was his and Astral's own way of "moving on."

III was giggling a little seeing Yuma's reaction, total embarrassment and shock, and that burning glare Astral threw at them, so they should keep away from Shark...?

"Jealousy, huh?" III thought out loud.

"Huh?" Yuma is confused, with his mouth stuffed with food.

"I guess we should get going." Ryoga gets up and wait for the others to follow. That was an interesting day, he wasn't sure how to feel about it, nor did Yuma.

(3/3/23) [Though I want to chase after the classmates that are so far ahead of me, yet another day ended with me making black tea and not being helpful at all.]

OK I know this is about 4 days late but I still got my thing for III day done!

Was trying to experiment with spot colours slightly for once

This is heavily based on the PV for the Sorcerer's apprentice by Kururingo which in itself is heavily based/inspired by III as a character so fun full circle reference there yknow

I plan to hopefully make similarly referenced pieces for his brothers, too, in the coming months!! Since they have songs based on them too in the same series as the one based on III
