Bart and Terri in place of Jimmy and Sally in the ever-talented I Fight Dragons’ “The Near Future” from 2014. It’s by far my favorite album by them. It’s a work in progress, so I have a lot to do on this.

Over the course of lockdown, I did a bit of character creating and story-figuring-outing, and I wanted to create a character who would run into danger rather than try to run from it or talk their way out of it, and so Riley was born. Or reborn. Or created. Whichever.

I also realised that I tend to just dump my own characters on Instagram with no formal introduction and I wanted to play it differently here.

I also really like I Fight Dragons and have had animation ideas in my head for most of their songs.

This is still a form of Work in Progress, I'd like to go in and light it via After Effects or the like. I want to keep learning new things, this reminded me of what I enjoy doing. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

I SWEAR I did more songs than this. I ran into some technical difficulties with Tumblr and my Surface and it caused me to lose my progress multiple times. But as for today, because of how down I was feeling, I decided to go for slower songs--not as intense as last time.

As you guys might have noticed, no, I’m not doing a 100 days straight. Why? Well, first and foremost, every day is a little bit different. Some days, I don’t have enough time until later at night, when everyone should be getting to bed. Others, the day was honestly too stressed for me, and I don’t like to play when I’m feeling lower than usual. That’s when I usually prefer singing. And you know what? I’m actually okay with not practicing every day. I know, blasphemous. But I still aim to keep a somewhat regular schedule, and if anything, this is for my own enjoyment and self-care. I hope nobody has a problem with that. I still call myself a musician because I do have a passion for music and song. Why do you consider yourself a musician?
