anyway yes. as i was saying: i wanna write a soulmate au tooo!!! so bad!! but i worry that i won't be able to write a compelling one because i am a super fluffy writer and i don't really enjoy soulmate AUs that are super fluffy so I'll just end up writing something that's not interesting or whatever. but!!! sometimes i think if canonverse!!! then maybe!!! maybe!!! it can be fun because DENIAL!! DEPRESSION!! DEATH!! etc etc

so this is s9. cas is human and he basically develops a soulmark. he actually doesn't even notice it but then when he's at that laundromat, there's also a little kid there and she sees it and points it out to him and then the mom is just like. mortified and she's like OMG WE ARE LEAVING RN and they run away. and then cas just looks down at himself and is like huh. he obviously recognises it. so. HUH.

anyway it's the same mark as dean's and while he's aware of the implications he just ignores all of that and gets on with it. his denial is like. fueled by the mark itself not being fully formed/permanent yet. it keeps fading in and out so he's like whatever not my problem rn. anyway s9 happens.

dean kicks him out of the bunker. and the mark becomes permanent.

he like lowkey hates having it but he justifies its existence to himself in many ways and just kind of does what he has to because he has no choice. anyway. HEAVEN CAN'T WAIT.

dean shows up. and then both their marks start burning up bc ~ p r o x i m i t y ~ or whatever and dean feels it and cas feels it and dean sees cas feeling it. and dean's like what the fuck what the FUCK and cas is like nothing the fuck. get out. and dean's like stop acting like I'm stupid i saw you!! you felt it too!! and cas is like idk what you're talking about. anyway they have a minor argument about this and also the hunt at the same time and it ends more or less like it did in canon.

i was the nora date to be a thing like it is important to me that it is a thing and i want dean to be soooo insane about it. like okay even those soulmates exist, not everyone ends up with their soulmate and not everyone takes it all that seriously. it's kind of like how astrology is in indian matchmaking yk? so it's not a big deal that cas is dating someone even if he has a mark but it's like. THIS IS DEAN. HE'S CRAZY. SO.

anyway. plot plot whatever rit zien is there. they fight. etc etc. same as canon. and then when they talk about it in the fanfic gap!

dean drives cas to his motel room and he's like. okay. okay so are we going to talk about this and cas is like HMM not saying anything and dean's like dude don't make me make you show it to me because you know i will. like. basically dean's being insane and he doesn't want to cross lines and ACT insane on the outisde so he's like cas just pls be HONEST with me and cas is like ugh. okay. fine yes i have it too yes it's the same one and dean's like huh. HUH. okay so what does this mean and cas is like idk I'm an angel and I'm not supposed to be having these things. and dean is like. no like. but you are human now and cas is like I WASN'T BORN ONE YOU MORON. and then he's like. well this is probably a glitch anyway. and dean is soooooooo sad at that and he's like glitch? what do you mean glitch? and cas is like well you see when i raised you from hell i had to feed you some of my grace and ig this is a side effect bc reciprocation happened and dean's like ....what? and cas is like I'm not your soulmate I'm your carbon copy. and dean is like. DEVASTATED. but also Somewhere deep down he is convinced that cas is his soulmate now (bc he's in love w him. that's the reason.) so he's like well how do you know what if it's really a soulmark what then and cas is sooooooo mad at the implication like he can be in love with Dean but how DARE he bring it up out in the open like this like how dare he make cas confront it esp when dean's been super cruel to him lately (honestly dean is a denial boy in my head but his whole deal is just. self-denial. like he knows things he just doesn't give them to himself. meanwhile cas is like. 😌 i pretend i do not see it.)

anyway. so then cas is like oooo I'm going to hurt you so he says sth like oh but if i was then you wouldn't have been able to kick me out so easily it would've hurt you and dean can't say anything to that right then yk..

anyway it's a bad night for everyone. and then when dean drives cas out to the gasnsip in the morning it's pretty much the same as canon. but when they're parting ways their soulmark hurts again. and dean is like WHY WON'T HE JUST ADMIT IT and cas is like i wish someone would peel off my skin so i wouldn't have to have this.

idk how it goes after this point. i think over the years the mark becomes more or less permanent. it's not as dark when he has his grace but even then it's not fully gone. it fades in and out just like his grace but it's still. always there. and cas has to deal with it.

dean never brings it up especially after this huge fight. he kind of sees it as a rejection. he asks him once around S10 after his grace is restored and cas is like Yep. It's Gone. (lying through his teeth) and dean's like WELL. GOOD. GOOD. (also lying through his teeth.)

eventually tho they all have to confront the reality of the situation and they obvs get together idk how it happens tho. i would write if i could!!! but i can't!!! SADLY!!!

as for your question, i'm sorry if my response isn't what you expected because i rarely read for maknae lines. first of all, the only 4th gen group i read for is enha, so i don't know how bad things are in other fandoms ( and i've heard abt nct blr being nothing but a pit of smuts— no offence to the writers— but i agree ) about niki though, i personally haven't encountered any such comments but some of my friends have reported seeing nsfw accounts for enha maknae lines, which is straight up disgusting because they're minors. probably one of the main reasons why i don't read for maknae line because i legit can't trust minors here, except a few that i have known for a while. the thing about minors ( 13-15 y/o as you said ) writing nsfw / borderline nsfw, whether for minors or adults, is so messed up because that's straight up wrong. i don't care if you were exposed to such topics at the age of 10 or whatever, if i spot you, a minor, writing nsfw i'm going to block you.

and smut about minors is even more messed up because it's like a gate to tell people that yeah, you can have sex at 16 it's fine, completely normal— which it isn't. moreover, how would you feel if someone wrote a smut about you when you're just 16? and not even smut, i think some people tend to see niki the way they see heeseung, which is also depicted in fiction. the point here is that heeseung is an adult while niki is not, and creating a line between how you write the two of them is very important. you can make suggestive jokes, go on, but not a suggestive work. that's weird, it's messed up.

honestly, i just don't read for maknae line in general lmao. sunoo is fine at times, but you'll rarely spot me reading a jungwon fic, and reading for riki is even rarer; same with writing. like, i know i have riki fics in works but they don't revolve around romance or whatever. i simply don't feel comfortable bcz jungwon is like, just a few months older and niki is younger than me. i think it's just a personal preference but as an adult, i prefer writing for hyung line over everyone else in the group. besides, i once saw someone writing a make out scene with niki and it was so descriptive, i scrolled so fast lmao 🏃‍♀️💨 i mean ok if you're dying to writing a kissing scene but there's a limit ??? he's a minor and you're writing about grinding i ????? also the kboo article im 💀 it's funny because if someone would sexualise a minor irl people would go off but suddenly it's all normal in fictions ( and i just don't mean kpop fics. it's wrong even if you're writing for fictional characters who are canonically minors ) and, i've seen MANY users posting nsfw right on the day an idol turns adult ( like i knew a sunoo one pls ) as if they were waiting for him to turn legal, only to write smut ?? which is so disgusting. fortunately, the user got called out for their actions.

yeah long story short : if i spot you writing inappropriate stuff for minors, i will call you out on your bs i don't care if it ends up with you deactivating or whatever

I'm Luna, this will be kinda random because I haven't sent you any other asks before, but I gotta tell you, my blood is boiling right now. I'm tired of seeing almost every single day a bunch of p*rn bots interacting with my stuff (or following me), and I hate to see certain things when I go to their "blogs" in order to check if everything's safe (like, the normal things you would see in a normal blog) and confirm if I have to block them or not. Up until this is fine, I guess. Normal behaviour involving random cursed bots.

But. BUT. You know it must be a real person behind an ask, not even the Anon feature can hide that. To see people straight up asking for NSFW content about idols who happen to be literal minors... It's fucked up as hell.

Actually, and as far as these cursed Internet lands had taught me over the curse of the years, NSFW involves things that may be disturbing for the eye, such as gore and violence themes. Sensitive topics, you may say.

There's people who write that kind of stories, mostly involving Mafia, Supernatural Creatures (such as vampires and werewolves), Murder (I've noticed that the japanese sterereotype of yandere has became really popular)... I can confidently say that this fields are kind of a "safer" path to take when it comes to NSFW.

Then again, we go back to the cursed shit. The sexual themes.

I'm not a fan of that, at all. I respect authors who choose to revolve their works around it, though, but I would never read anything from that genre. However, we all know there's a limit to (almost) everything.

I'm young, I've been a teen, surrounded by all those classmates going through puberty and changes. I have basic knowledge about how the human body works, and, even if mine doesn't seem to follow those rules, I know even teenagers can experience certain feelings and emotions as actual adults do.

I can understand that there may be non-adult fans that may feel those things towards idols like they would towards any other random people. I can understand too that those idols can be minors as well, completely normal, can't say that I like it, but I won't judge.

But when those feelings and emotions come from an actual adult... That's when you know you have to ask for help. Maybe it's just that you have a mental ilness (wouldn't justify it either) and all you need is therapy, or maybe you're just a literal disgusting piece of shit who doesn't deserve to leave their house nor have access to the Internet for the rest of their useless life. All I know is that even if you wait for them to grow up, you're still the whole garbage dump.

just like you, as much as i respect authors who write nsfw, i avoid reading it. first, because of religious convictions, second because i just keep imagining myself in the place of the artist and i think i'd feel unconfortable seeing nsfw about me. i mean, yeah, they'll probably never see it but i don't think i could ever write one. i can read it if it's something necessary in a story for example, and it's nicely written, otherwise it's not my kind.

but i just think it's basic human decency to not write about minors. there's nothing to explain there, it's just common sense and it strikes me sm to see that it's not something logical for some ppl.... the fact that they are waiting for yujin to be an adult doesn't make them less disgusting, because it doesn't mean nothing is happening in their head. they must be thinking disgusting shit about it, the only thing they are waiting for is something to help them satisfy it and i honestly can't stand this. plus, the fact my little brother is the same age as him makes me feel even more grossed out cuz i would never want my brother to live this.

1) How long ago did you start reading fanfiction? Writing fanfiction?

hmm,,, i honestly didn’t read fanfic for a long time. i try to stay out of popular-fandom and shipping culture and stuff cause there can be a lot of creeps in there! but i still adore fanfic when written by people i like, so it was really the d20bb that got me into fanfic! hearing all of these cool people talk about their fics made me want to read more and made me want to start writing!

20) What’s your favorite part about the fanfiction writing process?

honestly i really like the daydreaming about the story sdfghjk,,, i LOVE having a Big Idea for a story and then listening to music with the rights vibes and thinking about the story and planning all the Cool Moments. as for the actual writing, it would be writing those aforementioned Cool Moments that i’m excited to get to!

39. What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

oh god i struggle w confidence in everything and i don’t write much... honestly i think my core ideas are very fun! i’m a pretty plot-driven writer - i ADORE reading fics that are poetic or character explorations, but i find that for my own writing i need to anchor all the themes and characters around a story, and i think my ideas are good! also my puns. i’m very good at puns.

[insert that one bdg “visions from an angry god” meme]. hmm for The Unsolved Mystery of Misty Moore I think I was just rewatching tuc and thinking about how bonkers rowan’s whole reincarnation scheme is and thinking about how she’d go about reestablishing herself. for Thieves’ Cant i think i was actually inspired by you sola!! when brennan released the maidens character sheets, i think you made a post pointing out how penny doesn’t speak goblin (and riz doesn’t speak halfling) and i was like Well That Doesn’t Sound Right. as for the fic i’m currently (slowly) writing... all i’ll say is that i saw a tumblr post saying fabian should read hamlet >:3
