these are a few married Gallavich headcanons I have:
When they first move into their apartment Mickey bitches about the electricity bill in the summer and doesn't want to run the a/c since they've never even had a/c before but then he realizes if it's cold in the bedroom at night Ian can spoon him all summer and then he decides he likes a/c
Ian really wants to learn to cook. He buys a bunch of cookbooks and watches youtube videos but the first few things he makes aren't very good and he gets frustrated and upset and wants to give up. But Mickey knows it's important to him so he starts hanging out in the kitchen while Ian cooks and helps him chop everything and reads through the directions with him. It still takes a while for things to turn out right but Ian loves cooking with Mickey so much he keeps trying and eventually turns into a very good cook and he and Mickey prepping dinner together in the evenings turns into one of their favorite routines.
Ian goes through a bad depressive phase at one point and his doctor tells Mickey that getting a pet might help Ian out. Mickey convinces Ian he's the one who wants the dog since he knows Ian will get upset if he feels like they're only getting one because of his mental health. They go to the shelter and find a pitbull/lab mix who Mickey loves and Ian begrudgingly agrees. They name her Lady. Mickey ends up being an awesome dog trainer and teaches her to do a bunch of cool tricks. Ian is hesitant at first but slowly ends up falling in love with her. He and Lady go for runs every morning and he buys her the fanciest dog food he can find at the store. Without realizing it after a few months he's the happiest he's ever been.
On the anniversary of Terry's death Mickey gets really upset and goes out and gets shitfaced drunk. The bartender calls Ian from Mickey's phone and Ian goes and finds him. Ian brings him home and rubs his back while he throws up in the toilet and cries about his dad not loving him. Ian helps him get into pajamas and then holds him all night. In the morning Mickey tells Ian that even though he's sad about his relationship with his dad Ian is the best thing that ever happened to him and he's so glad he gets to be who he is, even though Terry didn't accept him.
Lip and Mickey end up being friends, even though they don't admit it. Mickey goes back to the Gallagher house at least once a week because even though he likes their apartment now, he still misses the South Side and needs a break. Lip's always there working on the house so they end up sharing beers and bitching about life together. Even once Lip eventually sells the house and gets a place with Tami Mickey still goes over once a week. Ian tells them they're best friends but they both say they're not they just happen to drink beer in the same place sometimes.
Once they both get off probation they take a trip to Mexico together for their anniversary. Mickey shows Ian where he lived and the beaches he would visit. Ian cries a lot at first and feels really guilty but Mickey tells him he has never been mad about it and he's proud of Ian for doing what was best for him at the time. They drink tequila together and swim in the ocean and Ian gets a really bad sunburn that Mickey teases him for but rubs aloe on him in the hotel room that night.

Take Me Away (Helmut Zemo x F!SE Asian!Plus Size! Reader) [PART 1]
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1244
Description: The unassuming prison librarian catches Zemo's attention. When he escapes, she could take him back to prison. But does she?
Author's Note: Guess who's finally sliding in with their Daniel Brühl character fic debut? I was going to write all the parts first and post them all together, but I don't even know how long I want this to be and which events from the show I'm including. Hopefully uploading in chapters like this will also motivate me to write more and eventually create a routine (*laugh cries in I write whenever the fuck I feel like it*)
Special thanks to @unlikelymilliner for that post about Zemo's books, because only God knows how long I'd be looking for the title of that Machiavelli book.
Warnings: Mentions of experimentation
(Y/N) didn't think she would ever fall in love with a criminal.
She lived a good deal of her life under the oppressive thumb of a group of them.
A remnant of that past remained in the form of what was essentially a shock collar strapped around her neck as part of one of their sick experiments.
Thankfully, the strip of velvet sent electrical jolts only when an attempt was made to remove the device.
No one knew the story behind it, save for one man.
She quickly took note of him the moment he walked into the library. Several inmates had already come in and left, but none had paid her any mind. She didn't expect them to. They came to get their books and went about their day. But there was one person who left an impression.
He wasn't intimidating like most other inmates. In fact, she was shocked to discover he was in solitary confinement.
It helped immensely that he was easy on the eyes, though she knew better than to let something like that put her at ease. That's how they get you.
Due to his status, he wasn’t allowed around other prisoners. It was just the two of them, plus the guard who stood by while he browsed the non-fiction section.
She greeted the man, just as she would anyone else, and received a small grin in return.
Dorothy, the head librarian, had given (Y/N) the task of updating the book logs since the computer was down the previous day.
The latter logged in with her newly acquired employee ID and got to work inputting names, ISBNs and book titles.
Halfway through the list, she sensed someone in front of her.
When she looked up from the computer screen, the man who came in stood at the other side of the big walnut desk, a book in his hands.
The first thing she saw was a pair of brown eyes that turned gold when the fluorescent lights hit them at a certain angle. The second was a mild-mannered aura, similar to the one she’d seen earlier. Something about his face seemed different this time. It almost reminded her of herself
She wouldn't have picked up on it unless she stared enough at both, which is what she was doing.
Unbeknownst to her, he'd spoken.
"Are you new here?" he inquired again.
His inflection showed no signs of incredulousness, simply curiosity.
Over the course of her working at the library, she would have the displeasure of prisoners telling her off when she politely asked them to keep noise at a minimum or leaving the seating areas in disarray. While she only knew this man for all of two minutes, (Y/N) could see he wasn't going to cause her trouble.
She said, shyly. "Today's my first day."
Now that they were engaged in conversation, she observed a few more things about him: he had short, light brown hair, most of which was straight, save for the curl framing one side of his pale face.
When he smiled, his lips didn't take on the shape of a crescent, as one's normally would. Instead, they formed a soft "w".
He had an accent. From where, she couldn't place. Russia? Germany?
"Ah... well," he placed his book on the countertop and slid it towards her. "It's nice to see a different face, especially a kind one."
Her cheeks got warm, a tinge of pink upon them. Thankfully, her tan complexion made it nearly impossible to detect. Yet, somehow, she thinks he did.
She averted her gaze, and in doing so, she remembered what she was supposed to be doing.
"Let me just log your books real quick," she slipped a chart from the bottom of the four-paper pile on top of the one she was transcribing earlier.
The book was Fortuna ist ein Reissender Fluss by Roger D. Masters. From what she could tell, it was about Leonardo Da Vinci's and Niccolò Machiavelli's quest to turn Florence, Italy into a seaport.
Intellectual, she thought to herself while writing down the book information.
"Have you read Machiavelli?" he asked, eyebrows raised.
For the fraction of a minute, she was torn between lying and looking stupid. If she said yes, he would more than likely ask what she thinks of something she's never even read before. He would see right through her. If she said no, she would out herself as someone who was uneducated, which was true to some extent. Yet another person would see her the way she felt since she left her homeland: a girl from some faraway place barely anyone knew existed, let alone cared about. The only stories about her people she's heard from outsiders were of inhabitants who didn't go to school, only wore rags and lived in filth.
She didn't want someone who has been so decent to her so far turn against her because of these prejudices.
"No, I haven't, actually..." she replied, meekly.
He nodded a bit with a small grin. "What I find intriguing is the relevance it holds today as well as its testament to his era. I think everyone should read them."
"I'll have to look into it," she hummed curiously and turned the form towards him, setting her pen down parallel to it. "I'm always looking for something to read."
"What kind of books do you like?" he asked while writing his name and initials.
He made eye contact with her again when he was finished.
"I've read a bunch of different genres: horror, satire, poetry," her lip perked when his eyes lit up.
She felt more confident and continued, "I'm currently reading a biography on RFK. When I heard how he was sensitive, the 'odd man out' in his family... I knew I had to learn more about him. I think his empathy allowed him to see past the labels society put so much weight on, like social class and race. I like biographies and learning about certain people. Some more well-known than others."
Though she wasn't able to attend a university due to her captivity, she was lucky enough to have a grandparent who was a teacher, instilling a sense of discipline and dedication to learning. Once she got to a mainland, she read constantly. She managed to restart her education and a new life from the ground up.
"Hm," the prisoner hummed, seemingly mulling over her words. "Impressive."
He threw her another smirk, one she found charming.
"T-Thank you," she mirrored the expression, except she was sure she looked like a timid schoolgirl.
What was he doing to me? she asked herself.
The guard at the door caught both their attention.
"Hey," he said sternly to the man and tilted his head towards the hall, hinting that they have to go.
The latter nodded and turned back to the librarian, taking the book in his hands after she'd stamped and closed the back cover.
"Well, it was nice chatting with a fellow bibliophile. I hope to see you again," he glanced at her name tag. "(Y/N)."
"You as well—" she was about to refer to the log he'd signed, but he saved her the trouble.
"Helmut," he smiled again, eyes crinkling a bit and waved his book in farewell before leaving.
She watched the two men leave and read the log.
In the third column, was the name: Helmut Zemo
She swore she knew it from somewhere, but where?

9 and 17 for the ask game if they haven't already been asked pls <3
9: Are there any fics you'd love to see but don't want to write yourself? What are they?
ok,,,, i said i was gonna give u a diluc one bc ik ur a genshin blog now so here we go exposing this Very Specific Fic Idea i had for a man from a game i dont even play JBHADF this was the other idea i had instead of Like The Dawn for Tay's bday, which i ended up scrapping in favor of Like The Dawn bc this would have been WAYYYY longer and wouldn't have been a modern au and i simply didn't wanna bother figuring out the world 😭😭😭 and if i end up caving and writing this shit anyway in a few months uh. mind ur business 😌
arranged marriage plot........ where the reader n dluc have been engaged to be married since before they were even like. able to crawl. but have not once met, and in the aftermath of diluc's dad gettin merc'd he calls off the arrangement figuring hey she'll probably be happy to not be engaged to a dude shes never met. surprise! not how. the world works. and when she gets the letter she hikes her damn self up to his winery and storms into his office like "um??? dude??? ur literally ruining my LIFE who the fuck is gonna wanna marry me once I'm your sloppy seconds? everyone's gonna think there's something wrong with me you know??? you want me to make my debut" (very regency vibes with the way i would build the culture of mondstadt's upper class) "at nearly 20 fucking years old after the head of the most influential family decided i wasnt good enough for him like either you're the stupidest man alive or the cruelest" and diluc is just🧍‍♂️bc the dumbass rlly didnt think abt that 😭 and hes all "im gonna fuck off for a while and you deserve a husband who wont do that" and shes all "i dont even WANT a husband but ive been raised to be a wife i cant just Not be one so actually? you marrying me and letting me run your household/business while you're completely MIA sounds like a rlly good deal to me" SO THEY GET MARRIED REAL FUCKIN FAST N HE FUCKS OFF LIKE IN CANON AND SHE IS LEFT TO RUN HIS WHOLE THING DURING THOSE YEARS WHILE HES GONE and then,,,,,,,, and then he comes back ohohoho and now the fun can start. because there is nothing better than mutual pining where u think the other doesn't love you when youre LITERALLY MARRIED AHAHA cue the longing gazes and the chaste touches (2005 pride and prejudice hand flex scene i am staring right at you) and the misunderstandings (legit id spend the first two thirds of the fic after he shows back up with him under the assumption that the reader absolutely despises him and the reader trying desperately to despise him.......) throw in some good old-fashioned "diluc gets hurt and the reader patches him up but they both have to pretend like theyre not losing their minds over the fact that shes got her hands all over his bare chest" a classic in the vigilante romance genre LIKE ALL THE PERIOD ROMANCE TROPES give the man a horse toss him in a lake dress him up for a party mmmmm i wanna read it SO bad
17: What has been the proudest moment for you so far since you started writing?
ok,,,, this is gonna sound rlly arrogant but here we go. a few monthsssss ago i decided to Put Effort into reaching out to authors more and interacting with the community, cause i figured that was one of the best ways to both motivate myself to write and just kinda generally be more active on this blog, thus encouraging the kind of interaction i desire.
soooo i reached out to two authors who I really admired, whose works i really enjoyed. and BOTH of them responded by telling me that they were huge fans, that they were fangirling bc I'd interacted with them, and that my work was one of the reasons they started posting in the first place. that was....... like holy fuck. the FIRST time was mind-boggling and so flattering; and then the SECOND time i was like well goddamn i must be the best author in this whole community JKSHDBFV im kidding but yeah. they've both become v treasured mutuals so if y'all see this ily those interactions made my goddamn year 🥺
ask me abt my fics!

⁷ ╱ READ B4 REQUESTING !
Tumblr media
this is only going to be a male reader oriented & a gender neutral reader oriented blog! i will only be writing for those readers. if you're a fem reader … there are plenty of accounts who write for you!! i want this to be a safe space for male readers & readers who may not feel comfy being gendered at all!
i will not write smut. however, i may reblog or interact with nsfw accounts if they allow me to. i just don't feel comfy writing smut on the internet considering my age. i may write suggestive themes though, just keep in mind that it won't go extremely far.
i am a high school student, meaning that i quite literally have no free time whatsoever and i won't always be on here. there are times when i may be off at months for a time and i beg you all to be patient with me. i would like you all to still request in that time though! it gives me motivation for when i do become active again!
i won't write any type of dark themed situations …. they give me the ick! sorry but there are also other blogs that are specifically for that type of thing & im sure they'd love to help you out with your request!
at the moment, i'm not much into anime so despite me being in those fandoms, i will mostly write for stranger things atm (thank you st4) & also marvel but mostly spiderman. if i do write for spiderman, it'll either be for tom or andrew's considering i haven't seen tobey's in a while. on another note, i will also write for the harry potter universe, but only for the marauders as of now.
be as detailed as possible when requesting! i'd love to hear you ramble, lovelies & id totally want to do your request justice for when i write it!
i do have the authority to decline your request! please don't get mad at me for that, i simply just may not have the time or feel like it's not detailed enough for me to write. if you'd like to send a more detailed version in, id totally love to see you out!
i will write angst but i won't always have the urge to write major angst scenes. it makes me extremely upset so if you'd please request fluff and or comedic stuff id adore that.
i'll write drabbles, blurbs, one - shots, and the occasional fic. but for fics, those will always be taken from an idea i had!
anyway, that’s all! happy requesting <3

You say feedback is important, I don't see you supporting many fellow writers tho
Yeah, well, you got me here. I also think that reblogging/writing posts about how much we need to support other writers is pretty hypocrite, if you don’t do it consistently in the first place. And that’s why I don’t post about it.
I do think that feedback is important – and that’s why you’ll see a lot of post about being grateful for feedback. But I also think it’s not an obligation, as fandom should be a fun place to relax, and nobody is entitled to feedback. When I highlighted its weight on a writer’s motivation, it was because I had been explicitly asked about it, and I didn’t want to lie.
Why don’t I offer much support, then? Well, there are two reasons.
a) I don’t really have much free time. Reading other fics takes time, and so does leaving feedback. Since my spare time is sadly limited, I prefer leaving it for writing and reading only something I’m completely convinced of. Which brings me to my second point:
b) I’m extremely picky. I almost exclusively only read genfics (and we’ve already taken out a good chunk of Hetalia fics) with Canada as a main character (another huge chunk gone) and with the focus, if not completely on him, at least not plainly favouring America (and here goes away another major chunk of the remaining fics, as this is something that happens in most fics concerning America and Canada). And this is without counting other turn-offs (Canada being a pothead or, in general, weed consumption being present as a positive thing/not a big deal; Canada being snarky to the point of becoming OOC; snapped!Canada; America being an idiot; depressed America or America with an ED; America being genuinely mean; America being a horrible, abusive brother; Canada bullying/hating America; Canada being older than America; England and/or France being horribly and intentionally neglectful towards Canada; and some others). None of these is an indicator of quality, rather, completely a matter of personal preferences, but, for how small it may be, it’s something very impactful in my interest. Do you see how much this reduces the number?
When I find a story I like, I do my best to be as supportive as I can, but this isn’t a frequent occurrence. Is this fair of me? Probably not. However, call me selfish if you want, but fandom experience is a way to relax and unwind for me, I want it free of any obligation (for the same reason, I don’t favourite stories until they are completed because I don’t want to feel bad about un-favouriting them if the plot takes a turn I don’t like, and in rarer cases I leave anonymous reviews before engaging with my profile as I’m not sure if the story is for me).
If you look at any of my earlier posts about the importance of feedback, you may notice that I was always talking under the premise of readers being interested in the story in question. In my opinion, this premise is fundamental. You can argue about leaving feedback or not, about the distinction between motivation boost and entitlement… however, the first consideration you have to do is that people should have no obligation to read something they don’t feel like reading. Everything else comes after this. And I’m sorry to say this, but demanding people to read your stories if they’re not interested is the epitome of entitlement. You are the one who decided to write them, random people owe you nothing, even less attention on something they’re not interested in.
I know that there are awesome writers out there, but I’m not going to read their fics unless they are in line with my preferences (obviously, I’m not going to complain to them about this, either, but this isn’t what this question was about). And, to be perfectly honest, I’d rather other people doing the same with my stuff. I want people who engage with my writing to do it because they like it, not out of an obligation towards me.
I’m sorry if this isn’t the answer you were expecting – but this is all the effort I can personally spare for this. I truly think that ‘being in a fandom’ completely loses its meaning and purpose from the moment it stops being fun.

(struggling to figure out how to ask all of them... also obv no spoilers ;u;) okay for character specific questions: 13 I don't think I've questioned any character's actions so ┐( シ)┌ 14 I guess Zoro?? maybe Travis 21 tell me about the human experiences of Luffy! 22 Zoro 30 eh just ramble about the Straw Hats living human lives? 42, 43, 49 & 50 all of the crew when they were in Earthverse !
These were fun! Well, most of them. For questions 21, 30, 42, 43, 49, and 50…they aren't things I've thought too much about before. I'm not in the right frame of mind to try at the moment and I didn't want to let the ask sit there unanswered until I did manage to think of something, so I'm just going to go ahead and skip them for now, sorry! ^^;
1: what inspires you?
Having a good idea I can be excited about? IDK. X'D
2: one of your favorite comments/reviews on this chapter/verse?
I love all my comments. ;u; I love the comments that go into detail about what they thought, the comments that are just a mess of flailing, the comments that tell me they stayed up all night reading, the comments that are just a line or two to say they liked it, and everything in between. Even if I could decide on one to use as an example, I wouldn't want to make anyone feel like I didn't appreciate their comment because it didn't look like that one.
3: what motivates you?
Being excited about an idea, getting to write a part I've been looking forward to, getting a nice comment on a fic, having the house to myself.
4: what time of the day/night do you like to write?
Either afternoon or at night once my mom's gone to bed.
5: do you write scenes in a linear fashion or do you write future scenes/dialogues sometimes?
I'll write snippets of future scenes if I think of something I don't want to lose, but otherwise I write pretty much linearly (aside from going back to rewrite previous scenes/chapters).
6: hardest/easiest character to write for?
I don't know if any of them are easy, exactly. It also depends on the scene and what they're going to be doing. Sometimes I know exactly how they'll behave, and sometimes I just can't picture how a character would react to a particular event or line of dialogue.
But generally Zoro isn't too bad. (Also Travis, because he's my character, though that still doesn't mean I know how he'll respond to things all the time, unfortunately.) Hardest is probably Flirty!Sanji and Franky. I've never tried writing from Franky's point of view, but he's hard enough from someone else's that I'm not eager to try. Chopper and Robin aren't too bad from someone else's POV, but I think I might have trouble writing from theirs. And Luffy can be difficult occasionally, depending on the situation. (Also Sven is hard, even though he’s my character.)
7: hardest/easiest verse to write for?
Well, I only have one at the moment, so… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Though once I actually start writing some of my other ideas, I have a feeling Mistyverse will still be the easiest, just because I've been working in it for so long.
8: (if you have either or both) how do you manage time with writing, work, school etc.?
Very badly. ^^;; I'm terrible at time management.
9: what tv shows, books, or movies inspire for this verse, if any?
Story-wise, I can't think of anything specific (there may have been and I've just forgotten, but). Character-wise, Archer from Fate/Stay Night and Furuya Rei/Amuro Tōru/Bourbon from Detective Conan were a big influence when I was developing Travis.
10: any writing advice?
I don't feel confident enough to give advice to other people, haha.
11: (if you use) what do you like about archiveofourown?
The tag system. It can be very helpful in finding a certain subject or giving me a better idea of what the fic is about. Also the "mark for later" option. And the ability to have a series. It makes it much easier not to miss things when there are multiple fics in a story. And I like that the author isn't sent a notice when someone subscribes/can’t see the names of people who have subscribed. I feel much less awkward about subscribing to fics that are years old or about a very guilty pleasure. :P
12: anything you would do to make archiveofourown different/change it?
I…kind of have a list…
– Add a way to sort subscriptions by fandom! Sometimes I want to reread fic for a particular series and if I don't remember the title(s), going through multiple pages of fics and opening them one by one is such a pain.
– Give us a way to mark main vs. minor characters and relationships in fics. It's really annoying searching for fics about a certain character or pairing and getting dozens of fics that focus on someone/thing else entirely, with whatever you were looking for getting maybe a couple of scenes in the background. I've seen authors try to tag things to indicate this themselves, but most (including me ^^; ) don't do it, and in any case, I'd like an actual option I can mark in a search.
– It'd be cool to be able to put spoiler warnings on tags. Click to view, highlight, something.
– Filter IDs are very helpful, but it would be so much easier if we could just click a button to exclude things like explicit fics, “multi” fics (I’m so tired of being overrun with smutty “multi” fics when I search for “gen” without a filter), NOTPs, fandoms I don’t like…and so on.
– Being able to choose whether or not crossovers are included in the search results. I like a good crossover, but sometimes I just want fics for the one series.
– Don’t have author replies count under total number of comments. Also a PM system would be nice.
(If any of this is possible and it’s just that I don’t know about it, someone please tell me. X’D)
14: what is the arc for this character (redemption, etc.)?
I find it hard to put things like this into words (and I don't want to give spoilers), so…I'm going to pass on this as well. ^^;
15: ask me any spoilers you’re curious about for a verse, and i’ll post the answer in the tags
I'm glad you didn't ask for any because usually I love giving spoilers but we're far enough into the story now that most things I could say are Big Spoilers for the climax/ending that I really don't want to give away ahead of time. So thanks for not tempting me. XD
16: do you ever hand write? why or why not?
Once in a long while, if I think of a line I don't want to forget after I've turned my computer off, I'll jot it down on a notepad so I'll remember it the next day. Otherwise, no. My handwriting is slow as molasses and makes my hand tired. ^^;
17: do you listen to music while you write?
Almost always. 8D Just instrumentals, though.
18: any fanmixes you’ve made for this fic/verse?
Not really, no. I have a playlist I use when I'm writing scenes with Travis, and I'm working on one for fight scenes in general, but that's the closest I've got.
19: any edits or art you’ve made for this fic/verse/any edits readers have made? if not, what visuals would you use for one?
All the art I've posted for Mistyverse is here (If I get any fanart in the future, that's where it will be, too). I have quite a bit of art I haven't posted, mostly of Travis or unfinished attempts to draw specific scenes (I have an attempted map of the island in OtMS that I'm too embarrassed to look at again X'D).
20: what songs were you listening to during this scene/chapter?Mostly I just shuffle my giant instrumental playlist. Or if I'm in the mood for something new, I go looking on YouTube or similar places for writing playlists. As far as music for specific scenes/chapters, I think I pretty much covered that in question 13 here.
22: favorite line/quote/inner monologue from this character?
Zoro… At the moment, probably:
Zoro's heart had nearly stopped when he'd seen those hands. Or it would have, if he'd still had one.
Damn it, when did I start stealing Brook's lines?
23: feelings on epistolary fic?
It can be interesting. c: I like it best when letters/diary entries/whatever are mixed with more traditional narrative, but they can make for a fun story.
24: do you outline?
Yep! Not super-detailed outlines, usually, but I prefer having some sense of where things are going.
25: if you outline, do you edit it frequently?
Not that often, no. I don't think I've even looked at the outline for FMaA in a while, actually, because things got very vague toward the end, outside of a few specifics, and I have most of the necessary info in my head at this point.
26: anything you’re planning to write in your fic that you’re worried readers might like?
I think this is supposed to be "that you're worried readers might not like". Because otherwise…why would someone liking my stuff make me worried? Barring creepy stalkers and the like. Assuming it's "not"…
Ohhh yeah. I might hide under the covers for about a week when I post those parts… X’D
27: when you read fic, how often do you comment?
Not…very often. ;;OTL I know how much comments mean to writers, especially now that I've had firsthand experience, but I still find it a difficult thing to do. And lately, when I do comment, more often than not I do it anonymously, even if all I have to say is praise. It's just more comfortable for me that way. If I leave a signed in comment, it usually means I really liked the fic.
28: any scene/line you wrote that you didn’t expect to write/that surprised you once it was written?
Uhh…first thing that comes to mind is when they were at the museum and got roped into playing themselves. I had planned for their disguises to be seen through and for it to be assumed that they were cosplaying, but the rest of it just sort of happened. Including Maya; I knew she was going to be in the story, but I didn’t know she was going to be on that island or working at the museum until she showed up in the fruit room. X’D I don’t even remember how I was originally going to introduce her, except that it was going to be a lot closer to the end.
29: do you eat or drink anything while you write?
Not while I'm writing, but I like to have a drink and sometimes a snack before I start. Most often chai. It helps me get in the mood.
32: what are your stats for this story/verse?
Is…this supposed to mean, like…number of kudos/comments/hits. etc? If it means something else, someone tell me and I'll adjust my answer. :P
Just doing the two main fics (and on FFN the shorts are part of OtMS anyway, so):

33: favorite one-shot you’ve written?
Ah…hmm. I haven't actually written any one-shots as in "self-contained, stand-alone story" yet (I have plans!). Out of the one-shot extras that I wrote for Mistyverse…maybe Proof? It was the most self-indulgent of the three and the most fun to write.
34: a scene/paragraph you wrote that you’re proud of
I'm pretty happy with most of the stuff in chapters 18 and 19…and the scene in 16 where Zoro reveals himself…and Zoro and Travis’s fight in the museum in 15…and probably more that I’m not thinking of, but I’m not going to reread the whole thing again right now. :P
35: any foreshadowing/symbolism you wrote that you hope readers didn’t miss?
Yes, but at the same time I hope most people don't put the pieces together until things get revealed later.
36: any scenes you wrote that parallel the canon verse?
I guess maybe the stuff with Zoro and Chidori in 17? Kind of?
37: do you use quotes in the beginning notes/intro to your chapters? if so, what are some of your favorites/what are their significance?
Nope, I don't.
38: do you title your chapters? what’s your favorite chapter title? what’s its significance/why did you choose it?
Yes, I love titling chapters. Even when I can't think of anything good. Favorite chapter title is definitely Law and Order. Because it has a double meaning/pun (the structure and rules of Whitestone + Law showing up at the end).
39: any alternate fic titles you were considering for this verse?
I had a couple others I was playing with, at least for FMaA, but who knows what they were? Not me. XD
40: chapter you’re most proud of in this verse?
At the moment, I'd say it's a tossup between 15, 16, 18, and 19.
41: chapter that was the most fun to write in this verse?
Hmm. 12 was the easiest, and it's always fun when I'm not struggling with a chapter. The whole arc on Crinia (chapters 13 – 15) was pretty fun, even when it got difficult. 18 – 19, too. And I felt like chapter 20 was crap while I was writing it, but it was silly fun, and it doesn't seem as terrible when I reread it now.
44: have you shared your outline with anyone? if so, what did they think of it?
The outline itself, no. Parts of it are pretty different from what I actually ended up writing; it might be fun to share some of it sometime. c:
45: anyone you share excerpts with?
*pokes you* And I've posted a few here before, too. They're usually pretty short, though. Just a line or two.
46: story with the most kudos (AO3)?
From Mist and Ashes.
47: story with the most comments?
From Mist and Ashes again. :P
48: a happy future moment you’ve written/have planned for this ship? (will post under read more for spoilers)
*ignores the "ship" part* Hmm…I have no idea if I'll ever actually write it, but in my list of ideas for FMaA bonus scenes I have one where Zoro cooks for everyone (just because he can't eat anymore doesn't mean he can't cook—he lived on that island by himself for a long time before he died, after all). Also (for the benefit of anyone else reading this), sircerenade and I have discussed Brook and Zoro bonding over stuff before (being "grandpa figures", sharing skull/ghost jokes, etc.). Some of it may be more bittersweet than happy, but it’s a cute bittersweet, so.
