Irondad fic ideas #68
Fic where Peter has an Iron Man themed comfort item (blanket, bear dressed as Iron Man, whatever). Maybe it’s the last thing he has of his parents or maybe Ben and May got it for him soon after his parents died to comfort him. And Peter grows up, but it’s still a habit that he wants his blanket/plushie/etc.
Then one night, Tony asks Peter if he wants to spend the night. Which would be amazing, if he wasn’t a sixteen year old who still needed their security item to sleep. It would be embarrassing if any of his peers found out the truth, but if Iron Man found out he slept with an Iron Man comfort item? He’d never, ever live that embarrassment down!
So what does Peter do? Decline the invite and make up an excuse? Leave his security item at home and tell himself he doesn’t really need it? Try to sneak his item in? It’s up to you!
