[ The original post I wanted to make with the screenshots. ]
(( I was informed that I'm being impersonated on Discord.
Thanks to @discobowser for sharing these screenshots with me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is NOT me. This is a shameless impersonator and art thief. I would never join discords and tell people that I own just-bendy ( or talk like that... "bet" ... what?? and who the hell is king kirbo ) And I don't make alt accounts, what would I need that for? I'm still using the one I made back in 2017, and I wouldn't make one especially just for just-bendy.
Tumblr media
If you see this user or any user impersonating me in a server, just ban them, no need to harass or attack. I am currently not in any active servers, or any Bendy ones, and I don't plan on joining any, so if anyone starts saying that they are the "real just-bendy" then please know that is a lie. If I could report this person, then I would, but I'm not sure how to do that. Thanks for reading. ))

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love ❤️
Since this has gone to my main account I'm not mentioning anything on my alt AO3.
Ghosts he left behind - Everything prior to Jim Hunters still happened... Except Jim didn't come home after being dipped in T-Juice and has seemingly disappeared. It can only end well, I mean Merlin seems pretty unbothered about it!
All of the existing chapters will be getting a formatting fix when Stars' own is done.
As long as there are stars in the sky - Through a bit of fandangled magical backup plan Douxie ends up as the next Trollhunter and is Not Happy about this development. Shenanigans like Draal gets spritzed in the face with a spray bottle, the kids still find Kanjigar's body and we've got very old magic users having to pretend they're just regular humans what more do you want? There's lots of Zouxie to boot.
Currently editing/format fixing the existing chapters. From what I've seen so far Chapter 1 shows it's written in a week agenda pretty bad I'm so sorry.
Eli's Blog - Earth Date 11022021 - Eli starts a blog based on the events of Stars as he discovers them. He's also thinking about getting a couple of new recruits...
A Heart of Glass - Douxie discovered there would be consequences for releasing the Camelot prisoners though he couldn't have predicted how it would have resulted in the loss of his hand and ending up under the guardianship of the Arcane Order. He's still a good kid just prone to gallows humour and a wibbly moral compass.
These thoughts of you - Shameless Zouxie fluff reminiscing about how they first met even though they wouldn't become friends for a long while yet.
I wanted to put the 82 oneshot/drabble/whatever collection but couldn't think of a description and it's more I'm proud of how terrifying that sucker is.

Bruh Canonseeker leeches off other content creators who have huge sway on what's ok to say in the rwby fandom on here. It's agreed that users like Ironpines and ABonuslevel are fucked people, but Canonseeker is this exception somehow. They get to commission child/parent incest while causing drama that makes the rwby fandom look terminally twelve years old. You can see some users have moved their content away from them, while others still freely interact. I think I'm going to unfollow people, I don't like being in an echo chamber where everything is black and white along with the shows, and you MUST see things correctly in media and when interacting with the fandom on here. Seeker is a toxic influence man. Shit is gatekept by someone who fetishized lesbians for their own sexual gratification. Still gonna make rwby content, just burned up this month. Anyway, I have a question: What's your experience with canonseeker, when did you start hanging out? and what was the fall out???
Alright, here we go.
I first met Canonseeker on Reddit. Since I was solidly on the fan side of the fan/critic divide, he never came after me there. What I do remember was that one day, he posted a list of reasons why Summer x Qrow was never a thing. Fine, whatever. I know it’s not canon, but personally I like it. What I did notice, was that anyone who commented that did not completely agree with Canonseeker was relentlessly attacked by him in the comments. He was later banned from the subreddit for some stuff having to do with Fixing RWBY. At this time, I had no knowledge about his alt accounts.
So, I see Canonseeker start to be active on Tumblr under the RWBY tag. At this point, I had no reason to really be suspicious of him, cause it seemed like he had changed and wasn’t attacking people who disagreed with him. What I did see, was him getting relentless anon hate from what seemed to be members of the HTDM. He denied the various accusations, that he was harassing people, that he was using alt accounts to evade bans, and the like.
So, yeah. I defended him. Not my proudest moment, now that I know what I know about him.
So, then came Calxiyn’s post about her experiences with Canonseeker. And there it was, right on my Tumblr feed. Hard evidence that Canonseeker had been lying the whole time. That he had been harassing, that he had been making fake accounts.
So, not only did I reblog another post from another blog (who has mentioned that they do not want anything else to do with this discourse, so I won’t name them.) that said in part that Canonseeker cannot be trusted, accompanied by one of the screenshots from Calxiyn’s post, where Canonseeker admits to lying about his identity on her Discord, and making a second account and pretending it’s his friend.
Then Canonseeker goes and posts about how the user that made that post is lying about Canonseeker saying that they’re “anti-RWBY”.
At this point, I was fed up. I had defended this guy. And here he was, up to his old tricks, with no attempt to have anything resembling self-awareness or personal responsibility. So I called him on his crap. Told him that he needs to take a step back from the fandom and learn from his mistakes.
That’s when the trouble started.
Canonseeker started spamming my inbox, saying that I was spreading lies about him. I reminded him that there was proof of his activities. Every time I brought up the fact that he had been caught red-handed, he became more and more unhinged. Throwing up random screenshots from the likes of Judgemental Critter reading him the riot act, and others. This is part of his standard shtick, he’ll use out of context screenshots to manipulate. I made the observation that he was acting just like my emotionally abusive ex did when she was caught in a lie. He then went on a tirade about how I’m projecting my ex on to him, and am taking out my hatred of her on him.
Which is ridiculous, considering that relationship was over five years ago. I’ve healed, and come to terms with my emotions regarding that. I don’t hate my ex. I understand that she was a serial manipulator who would use people until they dared to question her, then toss them aside. Just like Canonseeker.
By that time, I had learned about his porn stash. I asked him about it. He lost it. Amid the denials, he began to say that I had called him an “art thief” when I had never said anything of the sort. (I have no doubt that he has already either paid someone to make doctored screenshots showing that I did say that, or made them himself. While I can’t prove this, it would fit with how unhinged he was.)
He then has the sheer audacity to tell me to stop lying. I responded by telling him that would be impossible, as I hadn’t told a lie throughout the entire conversation.
It was about at that point that he blocked me.
Oh, by the way. All that was over the course of two days. He was so obsessed with being right, that he harassed me for two days straight.
All because I chose to believe proof of his activities over choosing to remain blinded by his lies.
To borrow a phrase from Canonseeker himself, this is Csnonseeker. And this is what he does.

The Rise and Fall of John Phoenix
I have gone on a deep dive into the bowels of the Internet, and seen too much of the Abyss, and tumblr is about to come on a journey with me. Let's begin.
Tumblr media
So. I'm Erlkonig on FFN and Gheyn on AO3, but I mostly read on AO3. Today, I went to FFN to see what Ace Attorney stories it had, and one unfamiliar name kept popping up.
John Phoenix.
Who is this character? Apparently, a lawyer who is Phoenix Wright's British, green-suited nephew. Most works involving John Phoenix are short and satirical, and seem to view the character with derision or outright hostility.
Bizarrely, John Phoenix seems to span several authors: Just on the first page (most recent, see screenshot), I see Konrad Kross, barrylawn, and HoboSix. Farther back, the username HomelessSeven (likely a pseud of HoboSix) appears, as well as hexeptafan, LosAngelesttorney, and LockedAttworney. There's also a raft of users specifically with John Phoenix in their name!
John Phoenix's Friend
Enemy of John Phoenix
John the Tudors Last Non Alt
JP The Tudor Fandom Conqueror
John Sententia
. . . and so on. There's also what appears to be shared accounts Acquittal Central and Amazon Johngle. (More on Acquittal Central later.) Amazon Johngle's profile raises some further questions:
Tumblr media
Who is the "evil troll" mentioned? When scrolling through these, a few more names pop up with some regularity.
Storm Sente - This appears to be a character from Acquittal: Induction, an unreleased game similar to Ace Attorney. It was demoed in 2017. He appears to be the inspiration for the author SineSententia and JohnSententia (possibly pseuds?). Storm Sente and John Phoenix crossovers seem pretty popular. It's possible that John Phoenix originated as a crossover character: a Phoenix Wright relative in the British Acquittal: Induction universe. Indeed, the account Acquittal Central mostly contains stories in the Acquittal: Induction universe, rather than Ace Attorney.
Tumblr media
Dylan Fitchar - I honestly couldn't find anything about him, except this on the same wiki as Storm Sente (https://winecellar.fandom.com/wiki/Acquittal:_Induction). Apparently he is John Phoenix's nemesis.
Tumblr media
The other recurring name is dakoolguy.
There are 16 mentions of dakoolguy in story titles or searches, a whopping 13 of them by Enemy of John Phoenix. We're seeing one side of what may have been a feud, although it's hard to tell if the feud was mutual or whether the hatred was one-sided.
Tumblr media
There appear to be no stories written by dakoolguy. A search of username dakoolguy produces an empty page.
Tumblr media
However. . . I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a bak-and-forth between dakoolguy and barrylawn in the past. A two-way feud in which they both wrote mean-spirited stories about each other. Help me out, Wayback Machine. . . .
Tumblr media
Aha!
At the end of all this, John Phoenix is the OC of dakoolguy! It appears that dakoolguy has since deleted all their works, although the Wayback Machine records some twenty-odd stories from dakoolguy's side of the feud, written in April and May of 2020. Among their oldest works is the feud with barrylawn, as well as a complaint in Feb 2020 against r/AceAttorney the subreddit, and a May 2020 complaint against AO3.
Tumblr media
Clearly, dakoolguy had a long list of enemies. And without reading into all the works and constructing a timeline, its hard to say whether that was earned. Whatever happened, by September 2020, dakoolguy had deleted all their works, and their user sometime after that. The John Phoenix fan forum listed in their profile is also empty, although the Wayback page shows that the same barrylawn from the feud was a prominent presence on the fan forum. I was unable to click into any topic, not even through the Wayback Machine, to see whether barrylawn's participation there was friendly or antagonistic.
A closing note: The Wayback page of dakoolguy's FFN profile shows that they were at one point da_kool_guy on AO3. A search of AO3 turns up no such user. However, it does turn up a small handful of John Phoenix stories. Somehow, AO3 was able to escape whatever went down on FFN. One story in particular catches the eye. . . .
Tumblr media
The Adventures of John Phoenix, by keysmash, which appears to be a repost of the first chapter of the original 58k-word fix written by dakoolguy on FFN. And within the repost, there are three kudos. . . one from barrylawn. And within barrylawn's own list of works. . . is The Birth of John Ryuunosuke.
What is the relationship between dakoolguy and barrylawn? Are they rivals, friends, or bitter enemies? A glance at barrylawn's AO3 profile holds some clue.
Tumblr media
Dylan Fitchar! Could it be that John Phoenix's ex-nemesis was based on barrylawn all along?
In closing, although dakoolguy's may have chosen death for John Phoenix, he lives on through the works of his worst enemy, and through the collective memory of FFN, its pages an eternal tribute to the man, the myth, and the legend.
Update: @barrylawn thanks for writing in! I've become Herlock with flawed deductions lol. Barrylawn clarified that they first introduced Dylan Fitchar into the John Phoenix fandom, and that Dylan Fitchar is from the game Last Window: The Secret of Cape West.
