"Holy shit," Aelin mumbled, completely absorbed in her novel, unable to tear her eyes away from the page. Where the protagonists had finally gotten over their bickering and were currently tangled up in bed. Very tangled up.

She screamed his name as his tongue flicked around that little cluster of nerves, feeling her body clench and relax all at once as she crested for the third time. And he hadn't even entered her yet--gods, this was lining up to be the best night of her mortal life.

"You alright there, love?" Rowan sauntered over to her side, glancing down at the book. And wheezing. "Fucking gods!"

"Problem?" She raised a brow without looking up, absorbed in the way the woman was screaming as she orgasmed.

For the third time in half an hour.

Rowan's hand rested heavily on her shoulder. "Not to burst your fantasy bubble, Fireheart, but that?" He chuckled softly, trying to hide the fire in his eyes. "Not possible."

"Oh?" She threw him a knowing little grin.

"There's a reason it's fantasy," he returned, though she heard his breath catch.

"And there's a reason so many women enjoy themselves a good smutty fantasy, babe," she snickered. "Who needs the internet when you've got a centuries-old faerie male with three lifetimes of sexual prowess to make the ladies scream?"

"Certainly gives you ideas, I'll admit." Rowan's voice was just the slightest bit raspy, the only hint of how affected he was by this little discussion. "But it's still not realistically plausible, love."

"Bullshit," she scoffed, "it's totally possible." She winked slowly, finishing the scene and closing the book so she could meet his dark, burning gaze with her own. "I know it personally."

"Fireheart," he groaned, head falling backwards. "You're a menace."

"And proud of it!" She beamed. "Three orgasms is completely plausible, darling."

"In half an hour?" He remained incredulous. "Something tells me your idea of time is a little off, my love."

"We'll see about that," she smirked.

"Oh?"

"Indeed." Tossing the fantasy romance aside, she stood, rounding the couch to slip herself into her boyfriend's space, her wicked, delighted eyes twinkling up at him. "Unless you don't think you're up to it, old man."

"Old man?" His voice dropped to a dangerous, dark octave. "Ill show you old man, love."

"Will you, now?" She fluttered her lashes.

"I'm gonna make you forget that book," he promised.

"Hmm." Her voice was airy. "I'm not convinced." Quick as a breeze, she dodged his grasp and fake-ran for the stairs, not even trying to escape when his muscled arms locked around her waist, heaving her over her shoulder before she had time to squeal. "Ro!"

"That's right, baby, keep saying my name," he purred, wasting absolutely no time in striding up the stairs, two at a time, and tossing her onto their bed. "Three times in half an hour?" His smirk was pure sin. "Why don't we break that record, hmm?"

She most definitely agreed.
