I already love your blog. ❤ Would you be willing to do a lil sad loving from the singles of Stardew? Maybe Farmer gets injured somehow while farming, nearly drowns cause a big ol fish drags them into the sea, or comes back from the caves super beat up? I'd love to hear what reactions you feel they'd have, and how they'd take finding out they almost lost Farmer. :o

Bachelorettes

Abigail:

Oh shit!

Oh fucking shit!

She panics right out of the gate, running to where you had fallen. She’s terrified, she can’t think, she can barely breathe.

Somehow she manages to get you to Harvey, and spends the next few days shadowing you, making sure you don’t do something stupid and get hurt again.

Emily:

She knew something was wrong even before she found you. The world just... felt wrong.

When she finds you, nearly dead, she feels like the world is falling out from under her. She can’t lose you. She can’t!

She feels sick as she waits for Harvey to finish patching you up. The world seems a bit more sinister now.

When Harvey lets you go home, she goes complete Mother Bear on you, taking care of you until she’s certain that you’re okay.

Haley

She was at work when she learned what had happened, that she had nearly lost her love and she wasn’t even there to help you.

She blames herself. She knows it’s stupid, but she blames herself completely and totally.

It takes a lot of convincing from you for her to not become your minder 24/7.

She’ll recruit her sister to help her look after you as you recover. She doesn’t trust herself to do it on her own.

Leah

It doesn’t register for almost half an hour afterward. She knows that something bad happened, that you got pretty badly hurt, but it doesn’t feel real. It feels like something out of a dream.

It’s only when she see’s you on the bed that it hits her.

She refuses to leave your side while you’re in the hospital, because she knows that if she does she’ll break down and have a full on freak out.

She does what she can to make you feel better. But she will start taking first aid lessons from Harvey. Next time they might not get you to him fast enough.

Maru:

When Maru finds you, she starts folding in on herself.

While you’re with Harvey and recovering, she’s working on new inventions, anything to make your life safer.

New armor for the mines. Smart fishing rods. anything to keep this from happening again.

It’s only when the two of you are safe and home that she lets out all the things that were tearing her up inside while you were recovering.

Penny:

Penny actually blanks out for a while. She can’t process it, she can’t handle it, at least not right now.

With Harvey’s permission, she curls up with you in your hospital bed, mindful of your injuries.

At a loss for what else to do, she reads to you as you recover. She also makes a point for you to start taking safety classes so that you don’t wind up in a situation like this again.

She can’t lose you.

Bachelors

Alex:

He carries you, bridal style, to take you to the clinic.

He can’t sit still while Harvey’s looking after you. He just... he feels so damn helpless! He needs to do something, anything! He needs to do something to protect you. but what the hell can he do?

He curses himself as an idiot that he couldn’t do anything useful.

He puts his baggage on hold to look after you, but as soon as you’re better he recruits Harvey into teaching him to how to address people’s ills.

Elliot:

Stays by your side the entire time. He only leaves to use the restroom and run errands for you.

He sings for you, writes you a new poem, and does whatever he can to make you happy and more comfortable.

He begs you to be more careful, or at least stock up on medicines from Harvey if you must.

He starts developing his more practical skills to aid you in your various endeavors, to make sure you’re not alone if you’re ever hurt.

Sebastian:

Lurks around the clinic during your recovery, hovering over you and keeping you comfortable to ease your healing process.

Luckily he isn’t alone, as Sam, Maru, Abigail, and his parents pitch in to help you.

Goes to the Adventurer’s Guild and starts learning how to fight, so maybe you might have someone to protect you.

Shane:

Ah shit. Ah shit, shit, shit!

Shane automatically starts blaming himself for what happened, He should have been there to help you, to keep you safe.

Marnie helps him keep it together, and keep him away from the bottle.

He starts taking first aid courses, even getting hired as an intern at Harvey’s clinic.

He swears that he’ll never let you get hurt like that again. He can’t just be your husband, he needs to be your partner.

Harvey:

Oh Yoba! Someone get the doctor! Oh, wait, that’s him.

You and you’re health are his only priority as you recover, keeping you happy and healthy is the only thing on his mind.

He convinces you to start taking self-care courses to keep yourself healthy when you’re out there on your own.

He still gets a twist in his gut every time you go out there on your own, even after you’re all better. He knows you’re an adult and you can take care of yourself, but it still makes him terrified.

Sam:

All the fear and panic he had boiling inside of him while his dad was away at war comes rushing to the surface.

He suddenly has a lot more understanding for him mom, dealing with the constant terror that your love might die.

His family accompanies him and helps him take care of you. You’re family now after all.

Sam feels closer to you now, and to his parents. He’s still going to do everything he can to keep you from getting hurt again.
