okay here's my first rough draft of the family tree from uriel vii to uriel ix! (please ignore that i accidentally wrote "uriel viii" as "uriel vii".) some points of interest below:

so martin never had any children of his own, despite ocato pressing him very hard to produce one. he did near the end of his life (about 10ish years before he passed) adopt a young boy whom he named vaseius (i'm not sure what race the boy was actually haven't decided), the name being both a more imperial sounding name than whatever the boy originally had, and also a sly little reference to martin's strong ally and friend ku-vastei of the ebonheart pact. vaseius wasn't a bad emperor, but due to being not of the septim blood he wasn't popular. but somehow he kept the dragonfires lit, and could wear the amulet of kings, so most people didn't worry about it.

ariella is a canon character, before geldall was retconned to be the crown prince in oblivion she was the crown princess, but you don't really ever hear about her past arena afaik? apparently jagar tharn didn't imprison her like he did uriel vii and the other heirs so that he could use her to inject himself into the septim dynasty by blood. she was 15 when jagar took power so i made sure she was at least 18-19 (i forgor which) before she had her child with him, pelagiad v. but she somehow pissed jagar off and so he imprisoned both her and pelagiad v in a time-stretched oblivion plane like he did uriel vii and his other heirs. idk if it was the same plane or a different one. if it was the same one and when uriel vii got out he just didn't let her out too, that's pretty evil but ig par for the course for uriel vii. but it was probably just a separate plane and everybody forgot about her/were unable to free her with the others

anyways she finds a way back with her son around 3e463 and contests vaseius for the throne, since he's not technically a septim by blood. she starts a lot of unrest about the whole situation and eventually vaseius "dies mysteriously" (see: assassinated secretly) and ariella takes the throne for a while, followed after her death by her son pelagiad v. his son, abnur (named after an ancestor of his on the tharn side, ofc), follows pelagiad v after his death.

worth noting is that ariella and to a lesser extent pelagiad v strongly smeared vaseius and even martin, who had actually been a very popular emperor. so people didn't really like either of them, especially not vaseius. but by abnur's time most people had forgotten what they were mad at martin for, and so his son was named martin ii. i wrote down that martin ii died in battle but idk what battle or anything yet. his sister morihatha took over from him since he had no other heirs, and she kind of finished the war he started, and was known as a stern but kind ruler. her son uriel viii (accidentally put vii on that chart just ignore that) was fairly long-ruling emperor, and mostly popular the entire time, but due to reasons i haven't worked out yet, he became unpopular near the end of his reign as is believed to have been assassinated.

now, uriel's son "tiber ii" took over. tiber ii was only 13 when he was coronated, and he insisted on giving himself that particular imperial name, despite it being considered kind of sacrilege to put yourself on the same level as tiber septim like that. he was a particularly mean and cruel emperor, very unpopular, probably got a lot of people killed. he was deposed by his half-brother, martin iii, just a year after he was coronated, and due to his young age, was exiled to akavir instead of executed for his crimes. although some say he got lost in the ebonheart pact on his way to akavir...

martin iii's daughter and successor, eloisa, was beloved by the empire, but she was a sickly woman by the time she was coronated. the elder council tried to cover up that fact, but she unfortunately died three years later due to her various illnesses. she was succeeded by her younger brother uriel ix in 3e633, who is still the emperor as of 3e634! he's gonna come up in this story, probably sooner than you expect!

I was straight up boutta prepare to go to bed... after saying am gonna talk lil more bout my own original supernatural species thingy... I forgor... So speedrun, not much rambling hopefully it'll be coherent.

So a portion of my characters have odd names (who am i kidding its nearly all of em) but like there's Panacea. Name means cure-all, his powers are also a cure-all. He's immortal in a way that he doesn't age but got a weakness that can kill him.

I call those OCs of mine "Unknowns" (they have a fr legit actual name to em that the public doesnt know but i also apparently dont as well cuz i wrote it down smwhr i swear i did. but i forgor... i dont where i put the thing and i cant remember the thing).

So like, my Unknowns are a typa being that's a result of some scientists fucking up a perfectly okay human being--

It's a thing that happened cuz of the aftermath from Satan's own temporary reign and near destroying the universe where some materials, ingredients, and what not that wasn't supposed to be accessible to humans ended up getting accessible anyway and yall know what humans love best? Fucking around and finding out.

Panacea is an unfortunate victim. (bullshitting 101 im boutta write stuff ive only thought bout like mins ago but i liike it for him) Basically gonna have Pan once living life happily as a nurse for a children's hospital until the poor guy, wrong place, wrong time, got kidnapped and here we are. Aint human no more, no memories too.

So like, the process is like, being given powers of the thing you're most desperate for during the "examinations." In Pan's case, that was a cure-all. And like, after the transformation, everything bout their human life is stripped away from em and a single word appears in their mind that always has smth to do with their powers. And so that word becomes their name. (off the top of my head i can remember the unknowns are: karma, memoria, replica, reverie... theres a couple more of em i think i once counted like 12)

And the weakness thing! Basically, their weakness is linked to their human life, it's whatever "makes them feel human." Pan has hemophilia, but like the extreme kind where like: small cut? worrying, medium injury? VERY worrying, big wound? might as well die right then and there.

i have like 12 unknowns but i remember only managing to give only a couple of em weaknesses cuz am still figuring the others' story. (i have a lot to say bout memoria theyre like, one of the few that i got a full and proper story for. also yes memoria uses they/them theres a reason for that and i wanna say but tmrw tmrw).

Normally I’d ask to clarify what OCs because I have a good billion of them hidden somewhere but since you mentioned the post w Ribbon in it, I’ll be happy to talk ab my Multiversal Destruction OCs! Unfortunately i have too many of those so I’ll shorten it down to some specific OCs

Multiversal Destruction actually originated from past dramatic events that my friends and I took part in, one which was j*k3rp (triggering to most of us) and tcoop (The Corruption of Overpower) which is where MOST events originated from!

In a nutshell, a million years ago, species were at peace and then some God screwed with an Admin which then caused the start of racism and war! Shit went down yadda yadda, now some descendant of the lead Admins who is actually half Admin (SUPER RARE btw) and half Glitch is suffering his ass out because his entire admin side of the family are so dramatic and depressing!

Our roleplays haven’t been occurring for an incredibly long time but I hope it will someday, because I miss these idiots a lot! Currently my qpp Acurza has been working on our rp server and we are w Borelle and Florinaelle to do the roleplay! I’m not sure if others are joining bc we used to do the roleplays on Tumblr and not on discord lol (we’re not using tumblr bc it was VERY problematic at the time and we want no more remembrance of j*k3rp ever happening)

I’ll talk about my Half Glitch OCs since those are what Ribbon is! Usually it is Very well known that Glitches don’t ever have parents. They just spawn into existence, usually by mistakes and such. Half Glitches fuck with this rule by having a glitch parent and a parent of another species! Kevin(borelle’s glitch/admin oc with a problematic family) was assumed to be the only half glitch out there, but god damb that’s so wrong! There’s a team of uh.,? I forgor how many.., there’s a team of half glitches, also known as the MG-Switch (Mixed Glitch-Switch)!

Ribbon is a half Ribbon Demon! She was the leader of the MG-Switch after meeting two other half Glitches, Tide and Cider, who are Shadow siblings! Ribbon was an orphan for her whole life, but Tide and Cider were adopted by other Shadows who then adopted Ribbon! After a while, Ribbon was very indulged with the fact there could be more half Glitches out there and wanted to bring Tide and Cider along on the adventure!

Cider seemed excited, but Tide, not too much. Tide was always afraid of what could ever happen to Cider, and being the older brother, really wanted him not to be involved with anything dangerous, since in their era, Glitches are hunted down by Admins. Not too long later, they met a short piece of shit half Demon, Visor, also a half Glitch! Tide Hates Visor, but who’s there to please?

Ribbon had a diary on her for a long time and thought it’d be great to let the others take a look at it. They decided the book will be of them and their adventures as being half Glitches. Tide was okay with this, but wanted Visor to NOT have their hands on the book. Ribbon didn’t really know what to do there but wanted to always include her regardless. Cider couldn’t read and never got a hold of the book, but Tide wrote some small things about him in his entries

The real adventures started when Krylo had ran right into them while in the middle of running away from Glitch hunters. Krylo Never mentioned his other half and refuses to do so, so Ribbon never knew much of his backstory, but did end up developing a crush on him as they got to know each other better. With that, they all decided to be a group and wander around in hopes of finding others.

Then we got Korero, a half Angel. She sucks and is pretty much the stupider version of Visor. And that’s saying a lot since Visor is also very stupid. Cider was placed as 6th even though he had joined a long while ago. Next, Limbo, Bubbles, Silly and Naryx! Naryx is very important btw. Limbo I haven’t decided a species on yet, Bubbles is a half Point, Silly is a half Baxtrious (I THINK???? I FORGOR) and Naryx is a half Narrator :)

I haven’t put detail in much of these ones, but Naryx, uohoh… =) Naryx and Aaron O Nare are sibling in an AU I have (the one where Aaron is fucked up and Evil) and Naryx had gone missing ages ago. Turns out he was stuck with the MG-Switch before ending up leaving and wandering off elsewhere. Fun!

But yeah Naryx is pog and my friends love him lots hehe
