#i was thinking of 4d in terms of time being the 4th dimension

The whole time I've been reading Flatland I've tried to picture what a comparable version of it would be for a 4 dimensional being visiting a 3 dimensional being. I've been picturing 4d vision as being able to see the entire surface area of a 3d object all at once, but now I think that might be comparable to a 2d person thinking that 3d vision only means being able to see all of the exterior edges of an object at once, without picturing any of the planes that connect the lines. I think a more accurate description of 4d vision might involve being able to see *every single* cross-section of a 3d object all at once, from *every possible* angle at once, as one coherent visual whole. And the idea of someone being able to see every single cross-section of a body all at once, brain and guts and everything, laid out all together as if on a flat plane, is a horrifying mental image

Is Spinel 4 Dimensional?
Tumblr media
https://my-little-universe.fandom.com/wiki/Spinel
Finally, after hours of research, analysis, and a ridiculous amount of editing all with only 5 hours of sleep I have completed my masterpiece! The idea I found in the two previous posts was interesting, to say the least. So, I just had to run this idea into the ground with the power of the Internet!
WARNING: EXTREMELY NERDY CONTENT BELOW
Side effects of content consumption may include second-hand knowledge on physics and geometry, rant-induced headaches, accidental consumption of glorified nerd spaghetti, and unintentional theory crafting.
READER’S DISCRETION IS ADVISED.
Definition of 4th Dimension:
Before determining if Spinel is 4 dimensional, we need to define the 4th dimension. From a math perspective, it’s just another coordinate. Just like the x-, y-, and z-coordinates or length, height, and width on a 3-dimensional coordinate plane, adding a fourth coordinate gives you a fourth dimension to move along.
Of course, that doesn’t exactly explain what the 4th-dimension IS. In simplest terms, a 4D shape is just a bunch of 3D shapes fused together (which is very fitting for Steven Universe). Take a cube for example.
Tumblr media

A 1-dimensional cube is just a line.
Tumblr media
https://www.vexels.com/png-svg/preview/139342/basic-square-outline (edited)
Fuse 4 lines and you make a 2D cube or a square.
Tumblr media
https://www.vexels.com/png-svg/preview/155839/stroke-cube-icon (edited)
Fuse 6 squares and you make a 3D cube which is obviously just a cube.
Tumblr media
http://centerofmathematics.blogspot.com/2015/03/throwback-fact-magic-squares.html (edited)
By this logic, a 4D cube, known a tesseract, is a fusion of 8 cubes. These are many ways to draw a tesseract including a view from one of its axes like seen above.
A full view of a tesseract can be very hard to see in a diagram. A fusion of 8 cubes means there are...a square has 4 lines...multiply by 6 squares per cube...times 8 cubes per tesseract… THAT’S LIKE ALMOST 200 LINES (192 to be exact). Luckily there’s a way to kind of see what a 4D cube would look like.
Tumblr media
https://www.pitt.edu/~jdnorton/teaching/HPS_0410/chapters/four_dimensions/index.html (edited)
You essentially just have to cross your eyes to “fuse” these figures together. If you have trouble, just try to look slightly over it.
Another way to interpret the tesseract is with a “beach ball” cube.
Tumblr media
https://researchblog.duke.edu/2017/04/26/visualizing-the-fourth-dimension/
This is just a cube that has been printed along the sides of a sphere to give it a bloated appearance.
Tumblr media
https://researchblog.duke.edu/2017/04/26/visualizing-the-fourth-dimension/
When shining a light on its north pole, the cube creates a 2D plane.
Tumblr media
https://researchblog.duke.edu/2017/04/26/visualizing-the-fourth-dimension/
This can then be converted into a 3D object and connected with circular faces.
4 Dimensional Being Abilities:
The easiest way to explain the abilities of a being that is 4-dimensional is to consider how a 2-dimensional being would interpret us as 3-dimensional beings. In a 2-dimensional world, 3D beings would only be cross-sections. This would make us appear to only be blobs of shapes floating in mid-air.
Tumblr media
https://store.steampowered.com/app/619210/4D_Toys/
Moving into the 3rd dimension (i.e. a different z-coordinate than the one the 2D world is in) would make us “disappear.”
With this in mind, a 4D being would essentially be extremely powerful. They would be able to see everything in the 3rd dimension at once. They could “disappear” by moving into the 4th dimension. Heck, they could remove your heart without cutting you open, much like a 3D being could remove a dot from a circle without cutting it.
So Could Spinel Be 4-Dimensional?
Short answer: no. With what we’ve seen from the Movie and Future, Spinel could not be 4-dimensional.
Spinel would be super OP. She would have no problem defeating all the Diamonds AT ONCE let alone Steven without any of his powers except the power to stick to smooth surfaces, apparently...
Tumblr media
https://makutas-chronicle.tumblr.com/post/187538461056/spinel-garnet-and-true-kinda-love (You should check out this post. It brings up some really good points about the song “True Kind of Love”.)
Her whole reason for attacking Earth would be completely pointless! As a 4D being, she would have SEEN what happened to Pink Diamond and left the Garden before the show even started.
Even if gems had the technology and the massive amount of resources to create a being beyond their comprehension, what would be the point? Spinel was only meant to be a playmate. If they wanted Spinel to also have surveillance on Pink that could MAYBE justify creating a gem as complex as her. However, that still gives Spinel enough power to overthrow the Diamond Authority BY HERSELF.
The only way the events of the movie could take place AND Spinel could be this powerful is if she spent her time in the Garden suppressing her ability to avoid peaking while playing the “game” with Pink.
Tumblr media
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBTN4ewBPQc
Maybe after thousands of years of suppressing her power, she lost the ability to use it? But then how did she get the Injector if not by walking into the 4th dimension? When she reset, wouldn’t she regain the ability without the memory of suppressing it? Wouldn’t she constantly morph and contort whenever she moved as her ability becomes goes haywire!?
Tumblr media
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyhqb1ciB2s
I think it’s more likely that she can only infer the 4th dimension. Kind of like how we infer the 3rd dimension.
Yeah, apparently humans can’t actually see into the 3rd dimension. We only see the 2nd projections of 3D shapes and use light, shadows, and our position relative to objects around us to interpret depth.
Tumblr media
https://researchblog.duke.edu/2017/04/26/visualizing-the-fourth-dimension/
Maybe Spinel just has advanced retinas. Maybe she can see into the 3rd dimension and infer the 4th.
Tumblr media
https://researchblog.duke.edu/2017/04/26/visualizing-the-fourth-dimension/
Yes, she wouldn’t be able to flatten her gem or be the next dictator of all gem-kind, but it could explain what we see her do. She could walk around without half her head being gone one second and her leg the next.  She could have seen where the Injector and the Rejuvenator were through the 4th dimension. She maybe could have even navigated into the 4th dimension with her advanced vision and some effort.
The only thing this theory can’t explain is where that Rejuvenator came from and why it was so close to the Garden...Did Pink have a backup plan in case Spinel tried to follow her!?
Tumblr media
https://vocal.media/geeks/everything-you-need-to-know-for-steven-universe-the-movie-part-2
And that’s it! If you made it this far, you’re just as hopelessly nerdy as I am! Only you didn’t spend hours of your life writing a 10-page paper on whether a fictional character could take over the universe...
Special thanks to  a-second-chance-su-au for inspiration. I never would have made this nerd spaghetti if you hadn’t handed me the ingredients! Check them out if you like SU AUs featuring CG Spinel.
Do you have any suggestions? Criticisms? Ideas you want me to obsess over explore? Did I miss something? Do you have a counter-theory? Then just send in an ask! I’ll try my best to respond. Have a nice day and drink your energy beans!

So, to pick up from last post, I was haunted this AMT by a visualization of need and want or need versus want. It followed the visualization of High and Low pressure systems, which was obviously motivated in that there was a mini-Nor’easter blowing across the water. So, I could see the low going past us and blowing the rain or snow back, just as I could see the other way driving the heat or wind up so it comes back from the northwest, which I believe is no’thwest.
I could see that need and want are next to each other but oriented in perspective and thus in motion. That is, while you can separate need and want pretty far apart, as in a want is entirely separate from a need being a luxury, being something beyond how need is defined, then you see the problem is that at exponential, meaning where this doubles, you can only tell need from want by following the threads that label one or the other.
This connects to the MM or MoM Storyline in which the want and the need are highly entangled. As in, when you get this need fulfilled, you want that need fulfilled because now you have that need fulfilled. I always want more of this because I need this, and that need has become both more general and more specific. Infusing.
I also think this connects back to a few days ago: the conception of 4D using 1segments as dimensional dividers because each 1segment generates dimensions that pair across the 1segment, either as a string of 1’s or 0’s bracketing the line at 0’s or 1’s. So, when we shift the Irreducibles so they align across what becomes the imaginary unit circle, meaning we rotate around the midpoint between 2 1segments, we generate a continuous 4D, meaning a 4th Dimension which occurs at every iteration of Irreducibles counting as paired across 1 axis so the Ghosts align in the other.
That’s why there are cycles or counts within time. And this is why time needs an object. I’m seeing the informational limit in somewhat different terms.

On the Flexispot website, there are 114 four and five-star reviews for its Soutine OC10 ergonomic office chair. Almost all of these reviews speak to the comfort of the Soutine. I’ve spent a little time with this chair, and I can tell you, it is pretty comfortable—to a point. But is it $259 worth of comfortable?
youtube
Why Should You Trust My Opinion on Office Chairs?
Like many people, I have a bad back (and knees, and a bum shoulder). But, before becoming a writer for MUO, I spent 18 years in the automotive industry. Eighteen years of kneeling, reaching, lifting, bending, twisting, and generally contorting your body in different ways takes its toll. As a spry teenager, these movements don’t bother you very much. Once you turn 40, though, all bets are off.
Tumblr media
That’s terrible news for someone who now makes their living as a writer. These days, I spend most of my time in front of a computer, and my backside doesn’t easily forgive me for it. That's why my work hours must be spent in a chair that won’t leave me in pain.
I’m also short—5-foot-4 on a good day—which means many chairs aren’t designed with me in mind. In hindsight, maybe I should have taken a job at a chocolate factory.
I’ve got old-guy aches and pains despite still being young, so chairs are important to me. That's why, when Flexispot offered to send over their latest ergonomic office chair, I jumped at the chance.
How Is the Soutien Office Chair Different?
Tumblr media
Good ergonomic chairs should have adjustable seat height, adjustable width and depth, lumbar support, a backrest, decently padded seat material, armrests, and the ability to swivel. The Soutien has all of these features. This fact is critical if you are planning on comparing the Soutien with other options.
For the lumbar portion, Flexispot built what it calls a 3D, “bionic-engineered” support into the OC10. Essentially, this is a fancy way of saying that the chair has another layer of lumbar support in addition to the backrest. I was curious about that bionic-engineered term, however. Did NASA scientists design it, or was it merely another buzzword?
To quell my curiosity, I reached out to Flexispot customer service to obtain additional documentation on this designation; however, the only information I received implied that the terminology may be more marketing than actual engineering.
This 3D lumbar support system offers three different height adjustments, and customizability is one of the key selling points of this chair. The Soutien also has a 4D armrest. 4D doesn’t mean that the armrest will transport you into the 4th dimension. It means that height, width, and depth can be adjusted, in addition to a three-position armrest angle.
Tumblr media
The Soutien comes in two exciting flavors—black and gray—and has a weight capacity of 299.2 lbs (135.71 kg). It also offers 90 to 135 degrees of tilt, controlled via tension knob, an adjustable seat depth, and a one-piece-molded foam seat.
The chair also includes "360-degree silent casters." This feature keeps you from disturbing your coworkers and might even help you sneak up on the peanut butter and jelly sandwich in your lunchbox.
This Soutien's height adjusts between is 45.7 and 48.4 inches, the maximum width is 27.2 inches from armrest to armrest, and the backrest is 20.5 inches wide at its widest point. The chair uses a five-caster base, and the Soutien's seat height adjusts between 16.9 and 19.7 inches from the floor.
Armrests are height adjustable from 23.6 inches up to 26.4 inches. The seat cushion adjusts forward and backward between 16.1 inches from the lumbar support all the way ahead to 29.1 inches. At the deepest point, the chair measures 23.8 inches from the headrest to the cushion’s frontmost position.
The Soutien also uses “German K&R temperature sensitive fiber fleece mesh” for additional ventilation. I tried to determine what was so great about German fiber fleece mesh over other mesh nationalities but could not find any information on what made this fabric the best choice for this chair. Nor could I find a Martindale or Wyzenbeek rating on it.
What’s in the box?
Tumblr media
Inside the Soutien chair package, you’ll find the chair backing, with lumbar support installed, the base, the support strut, the arms, the headrest, a hardware kit, and the casters. You’ll also find a screwdriver and the T-handle Allen wrench needed to fit the mounting hardware. The majority of the components, save for the control box, are made of high-density plastic.
Assembly
Tumblr media
The assembly difficulty rating of this chair was about a three out of ten. It wasn’t hard to do and didn’t take much time. I had the chair together in about 15 minutes. The best part of this assembly was that I didn’t need to break out my toolbox to get everything together.
By including these tools, I think it’s safe to assume that the manufacturer wants the assembly to be easy for most people. Two people would be ideal for getting the chair portion situated on the base, but a single person can do it if required. In my case, I got it together without any help.
The instruction manual for the Soutien also states that you should tighten the chair’s bolts every two months. Most people aren’t going to do this. If you’re one of those people, I would recommend throwing a little Loctite on the bolts.
Who Is the Soutien Office Chair For?
Tumblr media
The Soutien is meant primarily for office environments and for commercial workers. Given its price point, you may find it in some home office environments, but the target market seems to be more business-oriented.
A corporation might likely scoff less at the $259 price tag than the average work-from-home freelancer. That said, this chair is handsome enough to add to your at-home computer setup if you have the coin.
A Week With the Soutien Chair
Tumblr media
Last week, I replaced my ordinary office chair with the Soutien and got to work. Over the next seven days, I spent countless hours in this chair. I work a lot, and during testing, I occupied the Soutien for 6-8 hours, with regular breaks. I also adjusted the chair to the correct height using the Mayo Clinic’s Office Ergonomic How-to Guide.
This guide suggests a 90-degree elbow position and a knee and hip position that are just shy of 90 degrees. This adjustment led me to probably my favorite feature of the Flexispot OC10—the low seat height. I mentioned earlier that I am a short guy, which means at even the lowest point of most chairs, my feet aren’t flat on the floor.
Related: How High Should Your Monitor Be?
To combat this, I usually use a padded memory-foam footrest that I picked up on Amazon for about $35. With the Flexispot Soutien, however, I was able to lower the seat so that my feet could sit flat. I was pretty giddy about this development.
I could also adjust the neck rest’s height to fit the natural curve in my neck. As a result, when I am using my computer, I can lean back, and my head and neck are fully supported.
I find this position comfortable, and I’d be lying if I told you that I hadn't nodded off a few times while in this position. It’s good that short naps have been shown to increase performance and alertness during the workday.
Overall, I found the Soutien chair pretty comfortable, though I have some reservations about this chair’s long-term use in my home office.
What We Love About the Soutien OC10 Office Chair
I love the height of this chair. I think that it is great for shorter people. If you’re looking for an office chair that will suit your short stature, then you will like the Soutien.
Tumblr media
I also appreciate the lumbar support with a single caveat—I found the lumbar pad’s adjustment unruly. This pad articulates vertically along the chair’s back and uses a detent system to secure the height. The pad descends by lifting it, clearing the detents, and allows the pad to lower. But, these detents are challenging to dial in.
The pad kept skipping the topmost detent on the initial adjustment and would instead move into the “descend” position. I found the best way to adjust the pad was to sit in the chair and gently lift the pad through the detents. By doing so, I found that I could finally take advantage of all three positions.
The padded cushion is just the proper density for my comfort. I like a chair on the medium to medium-hard side, and this is about where the padding lies. If you’re looking for a more memory-foam style seat, then this is not the chair for you.
I also have a love/hate relationship with the adjustable armrests. As a short person, it’s always hard to get into the correct ergonomic posture. Usually, my arms or legs are too short, and I have to find a way to accept my discomfort. With the armrests, I can adjust them so that they fit my arms at the correct angle.
Tumblr media
So, why the love/hate? Well, this has to do with the adjustment of the armrests—more on that in a moment.
Finally, I like that you can adjust the tension in the back of the chair. If you want to relax a bit, just lower the tension. Additionally, if you wish to disable the tilt function altogether, it can be accomplished by twisting the knob on the underside of the chair’s left portion. This is great for video meetings when your camera is on, and you should be paying attention.
Related: X-Kit Laptop Stand Docking Station: Your Back Will Thank You
What’s Not to Love?
For all the armrests offer in accommodation, they lack a lot in overall practicality. The adjustable width function amounts to a plasticky sliding that doesn’t stay put. This means if you decrease the width of the armrest, a little leaning will revert the armrest to its original position. This isn’t the end of the world.
Tumblr media
What’s more annoying, however, is the fact that on my demo model, the right armrest is a whole 1/4 inch lower than the left armrest at every position. At first, I thought this might be an error I made when putting the Soutien together. So I removed both of the armrests and reinstalled them, paying careful attention to positioning and torque. Regardless of my efforts, the armrests still showed this 1/4 inch variance.
I have to assume that Flexispot oversaw every aspect of quality control because this is a demo model. To me, that means that this chair is a representation of the best quality across the entire line. While 1/4 inch isn’t a huge difference, it is a noticeable difference. The armrests are also too firm for my tastes. Though this is subjective, and many people might appreciate a firmer armrest.
Related: The Best Ergonomic Keyboards for Computer Comfort
Overall, these issues make the armrests feel cheap. The strange detent for the lumbar pad adds to this feeling. The only non-cheap-feeling adjustable component of the chair is the headrest.
In general, the moveable parts of this ergonomic chair gave me a bit of pause. Given the number of positive reviews on the Flexispot website, I expected a bit more quality.
Should You Buy the Soutien OC10 Office Chair?
Tumblr media
If you’re looking for a mid-tier mesh office chair that will provide some ergonomic benefit, then the Soutien fulfills its purpose, though it does so without much fanfare. While it wouldn’t be my first choice, it might get an honorable mention.
I like the height, and I think the chair is best for short people like myself. But the quality control issues and the cheap armrests make this chair feel a bit over-priced. In fact, you can find similarly featured ergonomic chairs on Amazon for around $200.
However, if the Soutien's aesthetic aspects appeal to you, then the price might not be hard to swallow. If you fall in love at first sight with this office chair, then you’ll want to try it out for yourself.
Flexispot offers a free 30-day return policy if you purchase directly from its website to help with this. If you’re interested in going this route, I would suggest saving the packaging as a restocking fee will apply if the chair is not in “like new” condition.
Overall, the Soutien OC10 office chair could be a decent addition to your office space, but if you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, then you’ll want to consider other options.

4. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
((They’re 500 billion years old. They’ve seen a lot. I will say this: their mental health back in the 4th dimension was already not great, and at least two things cemented their slide into the state their mind is in today:
1. Bill taking them back to witness their own birth. This is possible to do in 4D, and in fact Morpho begged him to take them there, but what they saw was so horrible that it scarred them. It’s at least partly the source of their preoccupation with pain, which makes them a pretty good torture technician for Bill.
2. When they first leapt into the Nightmare Realm, the abrupt change from their dark, cold world to one so warm and dazzling set something loose inside them that the Authorities back in their homeworld had try to snuff out, but they never completely succeeded. Morph used to be extremely withdrawn and tightly strung before coming to the Realm, where over time they became much more cheerful and laid back, finding a new passion for learning and plenty of ways to have fun with their friends. It was only later that their long and complicated relationship with Bill (as well as creeping boredom) started poisoning the whole thing. And even then they are not ashamed to be what they are in the slightest.
3. The version of Morph that I tend to default to on this blog, the one that serves @birchtreedemon and knows Sixer, HER, and others, was shown a vision of things to come by one of their few true friends. Weirdmageddon.
It profoundly disappointed them and finally tipped their loyalty further away from Bill for good.))
11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?
((They’ve been afraid more often than they’d ever want to admit. When they started building their version of the Portal back in 4D by Bill’s instruction, they were afraid, because they could tell they were doing something momentous that would ruin them completely if they failed. When they first made the jump into the Realm, which was horrifically painful for them, they were definitely scared and confused and wondering if their life was ending–and in a way, it was, before they were reborn as a demon.
They have been afraid of Bill before. He’s not a nice person to live with and a lot of the things they refuse to let themself remember are times he was abusive or cruel to them. They are traitorous, yes, but they know they are not as strong or powerful as Bill. They’re far from the strongest Henchmaniac, either.
Most recently, their attempted combat with Thoth was one of the most terrifying experiences of their life, all 500 billion years of it. They were almost frozen with terror before their anger spurred them back into action, and when Thoth had them in his grip, they seriously thought it was all over, their life was going to end right there.))
19. What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?
((Hm. I think they are more focused on what they can get from a relationship than what they can give. They’re just plain selfish. They also have a need to be the more experienced or worldly person in the relationship, they like being with someone they can guide the most. Not everyone wants their guidance, but they appreciate being in the position of a teacher or mentor all the same. They also haven’t been in many, if any, committed relationships of a romantic or platonic nature, period. There’s maybe one or two people who come real close.))
35. How does your character behave around people they like?
((Around people they like casually, they are quite social and chatty. They will talk your ear off if you let them, the fact that they don’t actually speak notwithstanding( they just project their meaning into your brain). Lots and lots of stimulating conversations over drinks. They’ll take you out somewhere different every time. Says something about how lonely they really are, I think.
There are very, very few people they feel comfortable and understood enough with to truly be their close friend, but once you earn Morpho’s intimate companionship, expect them to first of all to enjoy being in your personal space as often as you’ll let them. Physical contact is a thing with them, always very gentle and affectionate. As I’ve mentioned, they give good hugs. Some people they do actually enjoy seeing improve in terms of power or knowledge, and they’ll help those people any way they can. Being able to keep up somewhat with their imagination and intellect is an important factor. They do as much as they can to earn the trust of the people they truly care for, because they don’t want to lose them. Sure, they are always thinking about how they can possibly convince you to let them exploit your potential for their personal gain, but that doesn’t mean they’re incapable of caring about you!
People who they show that side of themself to probably come the closest to seeing what they would be like if they were a normal, kind person instead of a villain.))

Kinda impressed by the fact that even despite having no language like this whatsoever to communicate with junkies can find a way to express these things in a way that other people whove gone through it can somehow recognize it
Or maybe they dont recognize what im recognizing at all, they are just communicating other more sensory aspects of “it” (act of third eye being open) and the people whose third eyes actually opened recognize these aspects
I can do anything now if only i remember what this was/is like. I can succeed in any field because I understand how all of them work in principal. Or at least if i remember what i recognize now well enough and can decipher it with enough focus to find a coherent way to use it
Being smart is the ability to recall them more quickly or the ability to understand their connections with each other better or understand them on a “lower” level ( the integral of x, x being thought). Maybe there is no “third eye opening” but its just that you get down on a level few people ever do. But there is no bottom it is an infinity of x into itself, also known as x derivative of x over x intergral of x
Hang on im starting to think of aspects of this i dont understand. Like what are coderivatives or whatever you call them. I cant understand where they fit into this because i dont remember exactly what they are. And time and space being two different dimensions (x and y) or space (y) being the derivative of time (x) oh wait that is exactly what im trying to say, i feel like it could be easier if writing by hand bc i could draw actual derivative symbols instead of counting on words u can type to express what im trying to say
(Wrote this last but put it here bc of organization) Remember this to help you understand: it isnt a chain bc its not just a line its in multiple dimensions. I.E. space. But it is because neurons fire in a chain I.E. time. We can only measure one direction in time but three in space.
Ok this is gonna make me sound even crazier as if I wasnt sounding crazy already. But time travel is not “movement” (one point to another) in the fourth x dimension aka 4th derivative of x (which would be to us like a wormhole), it’s movement in derivative of y? I think y, maybe i have this wrong. Neurons are oriented in space time. The amount of energy they have in them, their location in space (x,y,z coordinates), their location in time (along the x dimension) are all ways to describe the “point” they occupy in all dimensions. (Is the space time continuum represented by the x times xyz space section of all dimensions?)
Time travel is not just derivative of x, which is moving forward aka to the future, but integral of x which is moving “backward” in time aka the past
So not only can you move “outside” i e 4th derivative of x aka the fourth dimension of space (i didnt finish this thought. earlier and am trying to remember deeply enough what it said. It looked like it was a summary of the main idea that not only “” , but also you can move y derivates .” So you actually have an infinite number of dimensions being the derivative of one another in an infinite number of directions)
When they said everythings a fractal that was real
Things go in every direction all at once. And all those things go in every direction of their direction, which is infinitely more times greater than the first “every direction all at once” (which was infinity). Do you understand?
Good god. How did they figure this out. Like when you see media depictions of being high like tool album covers and stuff they have all that fractal stuff and when a sci fi movie wants to convey something deep the zoom in on the molecules until it looks like the universe zoomed out. They understand at least some aspect of this idea.
If i actually wanted my realization to be a groundbreaking thing i would probably need to spend a lot of years trying to convince people i wasnt crazy and only if i eventually effectively communicate my ideas across and spend a lot of time and energy to would it actually later seem like i were a tragic genius rather than a crazy person. also id need to try to hold on how i felt like when i was high for so long it would have a chance of disrupting my mental health/ability to function in society (same thing obvs) and driving me toward like hard drugs and that would not be good
Its so hard to explain the fourth dimension like i really dont think i could try to draw a representation of it like some people do (those cube things, i cant remember what theyre called), my conception of it is a lot more mathematical and verbal. But i still am pretty certain I understand it whether un-high me believes me or not
When youre trying to think about this stuff and you look away at your environment and think about memories and do other complex things that require much deeper chains of neurological communications in order to process them, it becomes a lot harder to focus in on these ideas because the complex things require a much higher/broader/vaguer level of though (higher broader vaguer being words we can use to try to understand what it means to be on a “higher level” as in OUTSIDE OF, DERIVATIVE OF X, IN THE FOURTH DIMENSION etc, just as like (above) and (below) describe location along the z axis if you think of the xy plane aka z equals zero as the “ground” and above means positive z and below means negative z.)
Its going to be harder than i thought to communicate this when sober lol but its still nice i was able to experience it lol
Other things to mention 1. Up until this point (but not after), some pieces of text are out of order than they were written, usually the paragraphs were all written together though not always 2. I wasn’t hallucinating per se but I understand how they work now bc some of the things in the corners of my vision, where my eyes are giving less attention to their light receptors, I’m seeing things off from how they actually are: I turn toward them and perceive them normally but when I turn away and theyre in the corner of my vision i see the distortion again. Its not like scary hallucinations or anything like for example I perceived a giant black slab like in space odyssey in place of the dark doorway, or a wall where there wasnt one. Its because my brain was focusing/thinking in different ways than its used to and so its less sensitive to the type of information it usually takes in from its environment and its interpretations of it are less precise and thus not entirely “correct”. Its a really interesting way of thinking about what it is that you actually notice and perceive. Like the experiment where they switch out the person asking for directions and the majority of people dont actually notice its a difference person
Yeah ok i cant really write much more bc im significantly less high rn, I could sit here the whole rest of the time and try to make sure I understand all this well enough each time I get less high but I really don’t feel like doing that its like, drifting farther and farther away and taking more effort to really grasp it with each drift towards sobriety and while thinking about how I might not understand all this stuff soon I’m tired lol and I appreciate the experience. Anyway yeah
More things I was thinking in the shower: Everything is a direction? And so everything is a dimension? Not just in space or time, thats only one section of it which can be described by a “shape” with three dimensions in the space orientation and one in the time orientation. All categories are their own dimension. In any given moment you are at an intersection of a certain (point) on [the shape representing the space time continuum] and all the other infinities
Question. Does the idea of god fit into all of this. “Who is doing the moving”—that would be god? “What is “moving””, etc. ? If “everything” is all infinities of infinities and this goes on infinitely, there is no possible way to be “outside” that infinity. Therefore you cant possibly “move” it all bc movement requires a force, and that force cant come from “outside” of it so therefore it all “moves” itself? How accurate is the term “movement” to describe what i am referring to? Which is our existence. Aka where the space time continuum is oriented within the “everything”. And by extent, where we ourselves are oriented within the space time continuum. I feel like i could represent this well with a 3d image. We are each our own space time continuum? With all this being understood i believe there is no possible way for us as humans to answer the question of whether there is a god, or what god is. I could be wrong about this but I dont think I personally would be able to. Same with the question of free will. The two are definitely interrelated. I feel like the ideas ive been saying can provide a different framework for talking about questions like this about god and free will and stuff, but the new framework would have to be engaged with/understood more fully in order to get any answers significantly more substantial than what we as humans have already.
“Third eye opening” is what i refer to this experience as but thats just an expression. The eye opening metaphor doesnt hold up super well when i actually think about what i mean by it. What i mean is the moment that you started to understand existence {in a certain way}, more “deeply”/“outside of just perceiving the space time continuum. But i dont think it actually necessarily refers to a specific threshold thats being passed, i just feel like ive reached a level today that is noteworthy because of how much i am able to understand. {In a certain way} is purposefully vague because again im not really sure if there is a threshold for what that certain way actually is, or how you might determine it. Its more that i reached a significant level of understanding existence today. But when people talk about the “third eye being open”, and they actually mean it, this is definitely in the realm of what they mean. Out of all the people in the world who make claims about having their “third eye open”, probably not very many of them mean something similar as i do when I talk about my experience of the third eye being open.
I was thinking about some other stuff as i was lying in bed i didnt write it down unfortunately as i was thinking it but i think it was pretty much repetitions of earlier ideas but elaborated in slightly different ways. overall the final thought was that in sum here are was that i not only can finally conceive of the idea of the fourth (spatial) dimension properly, but i also finally understand that the spatial dimensions are only one tiny “branch” of the many infinities of dimensions that branch into infinitely more infinities of dimensions. I understand now what is meant by “space time continuum” in relation to “everything else”. Oh one other thought i do remember having is that human “religion” (we talked in one my classes how difficult that word is to define) has very little to do with the actual god questions, i.e. what god is and what movement is and how god “works”, but not absolutely nothing to do with them. It’s our (humans’) very very very imprecise way of trying to address these questions.
And one other final thing. My first instinct was to spend hours thinking about how to best and most precisely communicate my understanding so that other people (and sober me) can understand it. I don’t understand why thats what I immediately jumped to doing and still feel the urge to do, when I could much more easily have decided that I was content with just understanding it myself and spending the rest of life knowing that I now have this special knowledge. I always thought i saw knowledge for the sake of knowledge as the ultimate pursuit but I guess I also have the drive to apply it somehow. I wonder if this is true for everyone on some level or not. Oh yes I also had been thinking about how difficult human language is to express what I’m trying to say because its not really equipped for it. like i just want to put quotations around every single word because words are just approximations for the ideas they are trying to express even when talking about ideas that our language is actually designed to describe, not even to mention trying to talk about stuff that it isnt. math concepts (even the few that I actually know anything about) are super super helpful to me in trying to think about and communicate these ideas and now I completely understand what people mean when they say that math is our best bet for being able to communicate with extraterrestrial intelligent life seeing as we have no way of knowing how other beings might perceive information. Wait a minute. Whos even to say that even if our definition of “life” didnt ever evolve anywhere else in the universe, there couldn’t be something else that wasn’t “alive” by this strict definition but not exactly “not alive” either. Like it didnt have “cells” exactly like earth organisms but it was somehow distinct from “not alive” things just like earth organisms are. Like the same way that viruses are neither alive nor not alive.
That article i had to read in cog sci about the “levels of understanding” (i.e. sociology is an abstraction of psychology is an abstraction of biology is an abstraction of chemistry is an abstraction of physics) is something that can fit into this understanding and probably led me to it too, seeing as I have thought about it a good deal since when i read it a few years ago. “...Is an abstraction of” is kinda like saying “is the derivate of”. Or is it like saying “is the integral of”, sorry I’m getting really tired.
Is “How” the integral of “what”, or the derivative?
Ok NOW i am going to actually sleep and instead of trying to think about this more i am going to be content with the fact that i now have all this knowledge.
Your neurons take a snapshot
Even if i am right about all this there isnt actually a point in conveying it and making it understood by other people. Even if it is an extraordinary feat to be able to understand all this it wont be seen as extraordinary (whatever that means) unless enough other people can understand it well enough to understand its significance, or someone who does understand it can make it relevant in some way to the rest of humanity and the functioning of society. I can wake up tomorrow and choose to say “lol i was so high and just rambling nonsense” and choose never to engage with these ideas again and go about my life like normal, or i can take on the burden of choosing to believe they are real, and then deciding whether i need to make them and their significance known (I dont even know if i know what their “significance” is, or if they have one). I dont know which one would overall be the better thing to do.

Energy, Frequency, Vibration | Music and the Spirit Realm | Ed Roman
In the episode of the TruthSeekah Podcast TruthSeekah speaks with Ed Roman about Energy, Frequency, Vibration, Music and the Spirit Realm. Music is a very powerful and spiritual tool in many aspects. Music can be used to lift one's spirit, soothe, heal and is often used for devotion and worship. Music can also be used to cause people to be aggressive, enforce hatred and self loathing. In the ancient times we see music being used before battles and music was being played while marching into war. In the Bible we see the Israelites marching around the city of Jericho as they began to take the city. On the seventh time around they stopped and blew a trumpet or shofar and the walls crumpled down. My concern is not if this actually happened or not but I am more infatuated with the lesson implaying the power of music and sound in general. Nikola Tesla said "If you want to understand the universe think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration" and many people believe that the trumpet or instrument used in this story was some type or sonar device that used the power of sound and vibration. When it comes to understanding the spirit realm we can go back to the Bible and visit the story of David and King Saul. The scriptures say that Saul was overcome with a evil spirit or demonic presence and the only time that he could get rest or the spirit would subside was when David (being a Psalmist of the Lord) played his harp. There is power in music, in the stringed instruments and when someone understand intention they are able to create or destroy using vibrational sound. We see this story mirrored very closely in the story of Pythagoras and the flute.
