Hi Magna! How are you doing today :> I'm so happy to see you so excited btw, you're amazing.
I watched all of your top 5 animes and i must say your taste is top notch ✨💕 Hellsing Ultimate was actually the very first manga i read and the first anime i ever saw haha. Alucard is totally hot 0//0 (but my fav anime and manga ever is Fullmetal Alchemist)
I'd like you to tell me your top 5 manga and why you love them too :>
Have an awesome day!
Your Secret Sanny ✨
OMGGGGG WE'RE ANIMANGA BESTIES 🤩
FMA is definitely up there too, I watched it when I was way too young lol I might me due for a rewatch soon.
The order here my be a bit more important lol
BLAME!
Again with the media that makes me go 🤔🤨?The art is messy and black heavy, and it just fits so well with the story. The oppressive feeling of The City, and the seemenly doomed mission we follow, it just gives me chills.
The whole world building is very, confusing and sometimes even inexistent, but I guess it just incites to explore and try to discover more and more. I'm so not normal about BLAME! 😔
CLAYMORE
Claymore is an epic. I mean, a story with monsters and woman warriors who aren't extremely sexualized? What's no to love right? The creature design is superb, if has such unique designs, actually, the art in general its just really good. The story gets a little slow in the middle (lots of explanations and exposition) but it's so worth it, for the whole experience.
PLUTO
This manga wasn't even on my radar, but I picked it up after going to a Naoki Urasawa exhibit in São Paulo. It hit do hard, such an amazing thriller. It has the mystery, it has the action, and it has the philosophy. If you haven't read it yet I highly recommend.
YOTSUBA TO!
On a lighter note, Yotsuba its just the best. The comedy, the cute moments, the memes, everything. It's all about the little moments and the comedy of daily life. I've never smiled so much reading something, fr.
If I'm in need of a cheer up, I'll just read some Yotsuba.
SAILOR MOON
I heve to be at least a little bit cliché lol As a full story the manga does a better job than the 90's anime (but i like it too tho). It has its flaws sure, its far from perfect, but the themes there, especially at the end strech, are incredible and reletable.

I adore your Malec headcanons and I was wondering if you could recommend fics that get both characters right? This newbie trusts your opinion after reading your hc and tags 🤗! I keep going back to a few ones I love about THE conversation they must have had after Edom etc. or about the whole immortality thing in a way that feels genuine and true to the characters. It's pure catharsis. Btw I'm team Immortal Malec 🥰
Hello Nony 💖💖💖
Thank you so much for the kind words, I’m thrilled to hear people enjoy my little rants 🤭🤭🤭 And beyond honored someone would trust me with something such as fic recs! Hey nothing is worse than getting a bad rec, right. It’s big trust.
Now I have to admit, I’ve been in a big reading slump and haven’t read as much as many other people around here, and for me sometimes a fic with a good feeling overvalues fully-IC fic.... but with that being said, I’ll try to rec a few that I can think of right off the bat! 🙈
    •·················•·················•
And the Oscar goes to... by Lecrit
One of the very first fics I read in the fandom, before even finishing the series, while filtering very carefully by year to not get spoiled for later seasons. It’s a very good-feel kind of fic, simply indulgent and full of pining-pining-pining. Positive and sweet and so cute. The social media bits are especially delightful!
Body of Memory by glorious_spoon
Amnesia! What a wonderful trope! And yet so often is used in a way that sucks all the happiness out of your soul— not this one though! There’s angst, yes, but by my book it’s a healthy good kind of angst, one that pushes the plot forward and has a good taste to it. Other than that I want to add and say that the writer made a wonderful job to make you truly believe the amnesia, as a reader you know more than the lead character and yet you’re filled with wonder and a sense of mystery as he explores and discovers this ‘new’ world he had woken up into!
Best Laid Plans by SuperficialPeasant
Full disclaimer, I only read the first 10 chapters, without any connection to the story, I haven’t read much since, though I’ll defiantly go back to finish this one. The characteristics are  overwhelmingly good, the author does not lose herself in smut, every heated scene is different and extremely IC and gives you a better understanding of what makes the character tick. The writing is wonderfully eloquent and interesting, there’s plot and there’s interesting dive into each characters! Now again, I did not yet finish it, but I am confident the rest of the story is as good as the start!
I know you did not ask for it, and I’m indulging myself, but one of the very, very, very few Jimon fics I read was this one:
quiet moments (where we fall in love) by sobsicles
I feel like it was such a wonderfully written falling in love story (you can truly pinpoint the momentum in which the falling in love happens, it’s so drawn out that you actually see how it’s escalating and developing, it’s all shown, not told, and it’s wonderful.) so I simply must present this, just.... in case.... you know.
    •·················•·················•
Those are pretty random and not even fully canon-ish, however I enjoyed myself while reading those, and I hope you might have some fun with them as well! 💕

hello, have you ever thought about creating a playlist/list of all your favourite Yuzuru interviews? can you pleaseeeee create one (if you haven't), since you seem to know a lot about this
I were to skim through my Yuzu playlist to make the list but then ended up getting into the spiral of re-watching my fav vids and finding out even more vids I hadn’t watched XD so I’m sorry this took such a long time.
So… if you know me, you’ll know that my first reaction to this question is SHUZO!! I absolutely adore all the interviews that Yuzuru has done with Shuzo Matsuoka-san, as Shuzo-san most of the time knows which question to ask after following Yuzu for so many years, and Yuzu is also very comfortable around him. Therefore, on the top of my fav list are some of Shuzo’s interviews:
First interview of Yuzuru & Shuzo - Houdou Station 7.11.2011: baby Yuzuru impressed Mr. Shuzo with his ambitious goals and 4T training
Inteview after NHK Trophy 2014 (translation here) insights on how Yuzu felt going back to competition after the collision. Yuzu later said that he learned a lot from this interview & it helped him get gold at GPF 2014
Interview after NHK Trophy 2015: His hot-blooded side and interesting competitive mindest
Interview after GPF 2015: Explanations to his reactions at GPF
Interview after NHK Trophy 2016: Insights on how he copes with expectations, and it’s interesting how he changed his goal in the middle of the interview
Some interviews from Pyeongchang:
Interview with Shuzo Matsuoka (subbed) - Houdou station 19.02.2018: funny and insightful as always
Interview with Shou Sakurai (full translations): I really like it as it touched several important topics with just enough details and some good humor from Yuzu
Interview with Nakai (partial translation here and here) [update: just found a subbed version here]
Press conference at Japanese National Press Club (subbing in progress by gladi and tadakixd)
Other than that, here are some other older interviews that I like:
Interview after NHK Trophy 2014 (my translation gifs here): a very inspiring interview that I hold very dear to my heart, I got a lot of motivation from it
“From a boy to a young man” - GetSports (14.4.2014): it’s not fully translated yet, but I made translation gifs for my favorite part of the interview here
“Scenery seen at the shelter” (4.3.2012): it’s not subbed, but I translated most parts (part1 and part2) Yuzuru’s reflections one year after the Earthquake 3.11, it was very real and heartbreaking to hear his 18-year-old struggling with such hardships and emotional conflicts
Asaichi 2015: I like it a lot, full of small questions, cute answers, but I only recommend part I and first few minutes of part II.
Kenji’s Room ft. Yuzuru (5 episodes) (summer 2015): this one is more like a talkshow than an interview, but I like it a lot as they spent enough time to explore from the most trivial snippets to Yuzu’s reflections on big changes in his life. Plus these two joked around a lot, it was cute and casual :D
Talkshow with Yuzuru, Plushenko and Mao at NHK Special Exhibition 2016 (partial translation here & my translation gifs here): the content is nothing new, but the interaction btw Plushenko & Yuzuru is adorable
I also like some interviews just for their interesting snippets:
Yuzuru answering to the question of how to raise children like him (translation gifs here): hands down - best answer you can get
Yuzuru pisses off his mom while doing image training (x)
JP media literally roasted Yuzu on set for the many times he failed on 4S over 2 seasons XD (x)
Baby Yuzu said his honest goal and regretted immediately (x): absolutely the most adorable thing ever
Mascot cannot stop caressing baby Yuzu (subbed) (x): I just laughed so hard at the sound effects
Cute short interview with PJ Kwong (x)
Yuzuru’s 5-minute answer to the question of how many quads are necessary for Pyeongchang + facepalm at the end (full answer here, translation here)
Haha sorry that this turned out to be such a long list :))) There’re tons (like TONS!!) of old and new contents about Yuzu that I haven’t watched, so this is just a very subjective list of mine :”> hope you’ll enjoy this!

Day #1 of UK trip in Manchester with chithi, Madhu and chitya :)
I'm going to copy paste chithi's account of the day as she does such a good job of explaining things and events of the day :)
Day 12 : 27th June 2019, match day, girls day-out day and Dishoom day*
Appu and Niveditha arrived. 910am? Hot breakfast of rava upma and apple, ID filter coffee.
The men headed out to Old Trafford and the girls arattaied, and then headed to Altrincham - market town in West Manchester. Trams full day ticket. Very useful.
Arattai continues. Explored the small market with kiosks full of wonderfully smelling food. Thursday is trinkets and antiques day in Altrincham - interesting to see shop selling only dog leashes, dog sweaters, dog coats etc. Remarkable 😜.
We spotted an old Indian rupee in an antique shop. Also saw what is called a eudimonium.
Lunch in a vegetarian kiosk - tried polenta fries with mayo, Jamaican jack wrap and banana +peanut butter smoothie. Great food 😊
Macchiato at Caffe Nero for Niveditha. Pen pencil purchased at a quaint Japanese shop. Walked around the shopping high street of Altrincham. Decided to visit the IWM, North again.
Tram station. Passed Old Trafford exactly when Dhoni hit a six in the last over. Crowd was cheering rapturously - cdnt resist the temptation to get down and go to the stadium. Also possible to meet the match goers - innings break coming up soon. Got down quickly, met the threesome, selfies, chatted excitedly - the atmosphere was electric in the last over, what with chants of Dhoni, Dhoni...
Sea of blue in the stands, hundreds of Indians
After the brief meeting with Appu, Madhu and Sampath walk to IWM. Passed thru the Manchester United stadium, which is very close to the cricket stadium also. Less than 10mins.
The stadium is huuuuge. More after the stadium tour tomorrow 😎. The ManU Enterprise is very impressive and amazing. It is on a scale that was much more than what I had imagined.
IWM after a longish walk. Hot sun. Niveditha was very impressed. We had about 90mins to tour the museum today.
Today we watched a 5min documentary abt Al-mutanabi street bombing in Iraq. Also a huge exhibit from the World Trade Center air crash of 2001. A mangled piece of steel which formed part of the structural columns of one of the skyscrapers. Tragic memories.
Left the museum around 5, went to Media City tram station and took a tram back home.
The junta came home around 730? Brought victory back home. And then we all set out to Dishoom for dinner.
Appu had painstakingly studied their menu online, talked to many people who recommended it. Brilliant choice 👌.
The place has got a few more things out of the ordinary, other than of course the food. For one, no reservations - once we get in and book a table, we are handed a pager which is expected to buzz when a table has freed up and has been allocated to us. We also got instructions that at least one person of the group should wait at the restaurant and we need to be in the signalling radius of the paging system.
But all this hanky panky was justified by the food. Well worth the wait!
The waiter attending to us explained the menu, various sections of the menu, the recommended dishes in the small plates (pav Bhaji is classified in small plates here, BTW), main course, dessert and drinks sections of the menu. Have never seen this before in a restaurant. In fact he took the trouble to repeat everything twice at 2 ends of the table for us, since there was so much noise around us 😅
Dinner was a sema jolly affair with pav Bhaji, chilly cheese toast, grilled paneer and pineapple Tikka, chole batura and sheera, lassis, tulsi-sour, masala chai, jackfruit biriyani with raita, wonderfully creamy dal makhni, roomali roti, kulfis, kala-khatta gola ice.
Podhuma 😜🤗😜🤗.
Deserving special mention is their toilet. With "souchalay", "mahilayen" and "purush" written in Gujarati Each WC has a wash basin inside with brass fittings and not to mention the rosewood toilet seats 😅😅. Niveditha's recommendation to please visit the toilet. 😃😃.
Walked back home. Piccadilly arcades, Market square and then via northern quarter. Deserted alleys. Bought onions for hot breakfast tomorrow at a 24hr SPAR outlet. Home at about 12am.
Sema fun. US junta had Airbnb cancel their stay for some power failure problem. So innum super and we all stayed together.
Retired for the day. The boys in eager anticipation of the next day's stadium tour.
Good night 😘

all i know abt transformers is the shia movie and the fact that darren criss plays one in the cartoons i think? should i get into transformers is what i'm asking
Oh god this is my favorite question. I’m not sure how to answer it but its my fave. Pull up a chair. I hope you’ve got some time on your hands.
The short answer: yes. You should at least give it a try. Transformers is a 30+ year old muti-media franchise that gets rebooted almost every 3 years so it basically has something interesting to offer almost any fan. If you end up not liking it that’s cool but there’s a lot to try before you decide.
The long answer is: yes you should and here’s why and here’s a rough idea of all the options you have to sample. I’m about to go on a long rant anon so you can check it out now or later or whatever but I’m just warning you ahead of time.
The basic Transformers plot (which I’m sure you know but I’m gonna go more in depth in a minute) is that a race of giant robot aliens who can turn into vehicles and other things have been engaged in a civil war that has lasted millions of years. This is the basic plot that all tf franchises spawn from although some explore slightly different subject matters. If that doesn’t appeal to you I mean there /might/ be a few other things you might find worth sticking around for because there’s just so fucking much of it, but you’re welcome to turn back now because that’s the basic things tf has to offer: giant robot aliens, cars and planes, fighting, some drama. Those are what tf is best at, with some variation.
It has a very active and long lived fan base and each section of the fan base is interested in different stuff with some crossover. There are people who literally only care about collecting the toys, people who wont try any other series except g1, people who only like the comics, etc. Etc. You’ll probably find people who like what you do pretty readily. If you like the toys there are toy forums and blogs. If you like the cartoons there are forums and blogs made for that too. If you like the comics, same. There’s a pretty active following of the comics and cartoon series on Tumblr alone; I would try searching the #maccadam tag since most tf activity has been moved there since the bay movies came out. Id also use the tf wiki liberally because it has pm all the information you’ll need to know about the fandom and the canon lore. There’s also plenty of fan fiction on Ao3 and ff.net if you’re into that and pm anyplace that hosts fan art has tf fan art.
Now there are several series, including comics, cartoons, the Michael bay films, the cartoon movie, spin off books, and video games. I’m gonna go over my personal favorites because I like and know them best but there are more than these if you’re interested in digging deeper.
(More under the cut)
G1: there are a lot of forms of what fans refer to as Generation 1 or G1 but if you live in the US its likely they’re talking about the very first cartoon series.
Summary: the autobots and the decepticons stripped their planet of resources and went looking for a new planet to continue surviving on. They both crashlanded on earth where they lay dormant for millions of years until conveniently awakened somewhere during the 1980s, where they continue their war all over again
Why you should try it: listen its cheesy as hell and full of nonsense plotlines and animation errors but not only is it good fun but at least watching an episode or two might give you a decent grasp on what spawned this enormous franchise in the first place.
G1 movie: this movie was a game changer. Its technically right in the middle of the g1 cartoon but it works as a standalone film too. while it has many trappings of the cartoon its better animated and has a more consistent and dramatic story.
Summary: Optimus Prime and Megatron fight, OP dies (yes he fucking DIES for the very first time. thousands of 10 year olds bawl their eyes out), Megatron gets mortally wounded, and the Matrix of Leadership (aka an autobot holy item/macguffin [this is the proto-cube btw]) has to choose a new leader.
Why you should try it: decent animation, classics lines, tons of 80s rock music, and it establishes a lot of tf conventions that would be carried over to all series that come after it.
Beast Wars: haha the 90s couldn’t be left out of the transformers fun, now could it? This was one of the first all-cg cartoon series in history and while its not much to look at nowadays, it was a big step in the 90s.
Summary: the series doesn’t center on Optimus Prime and Megatron but their decendants. The war is long over but some factions are starting to clash once again. Several members of these factions do the whole “crash land on earth while fighting” thing except they wake up during times before humans and instead of taking vehicle modes, they take animal forms, thus the name.
Why you should give it a try: it establishes the idea of Sparks for the first time, it has historical significance in the cgi realm, and it has a decent storyline with interesting characters. If you can muscle through the 90s-computer-animation look it might be the show for you!
Transformers: Animated: I dont think its a secret that this is one of my favorite tf series of all times. It was the first cartoon series I ever watched of tf and it also features my favorite toy line.
Summary: Optimus Prime is much less a war hero and more of a ..janitor really. He flunked out of the academy and spends his time repairing space bridges. One time during repairs though, they stumble across the Cube and just their luck, Megatron and some nearby cons are looking for it. They portal away to earth where they, you guessed it, crashland, until they’re awoken sometime in the future and go on adventures in futuristic Detroit.
Why you should give it a try: I like tfa’s art style and story and characterisation best tbh; Optimus is younger and more unsure of himself but also more earnest, with more visible baggage. The rest of his team feel like a ragtag band of misfits (which I have a weakness for no lie lmfao) who are still trying to find their place in this conflict and the future ahead of them. Sari is also one of the more beloved human companions and the show’s take on classics characters feels fresh and interesting, and the interpretation of the autobots and decepticons themselves is surprisingly nuanced.
Transformers: Prime: remember that 90s animation? Kiss that shit good bye my friend. This cgi is some beautiful shit. More than a few fans wish tfp is the art direction the movies had taken, storyline aside.
Summary: the autobots are already on earth, staking it out and fighting a more subdued sort of conflict with the cons. One day they get some human kids involved and stumble across some conspiracy shit and it all spirals out of control from there.
Why you should give it a try: great animation and atmosphere, gorgeous character designs, a solid interpretation go the characters, and it offers a more serious take on the story over all.
Rescue Bots: I’ve noticed this show doesn’t make the list a lot which is a shame? It has a much younger audience than any of then other series but its still quality and one of my fave tf series.
Summary: the ship of four non-combatants who were left in stasis before the war detect a transmission telling autobots to go to earth, so it…goes to earth. There they wake up on some island and are told they’ve gotta start building a repatoire with the native species…but they can’t reveal that they’re sentient aliens yet.
Why you should give it a try: ok ok, most of the series are made for 7-12 year olds with the teen and adult fans sort of in mind, this show…is a show made for pre-K kids, no joke. Its a lot less…murder-y, and this is especially saying something because it came out at the same time TFP did and in fact is supposed to take place in the same universe!
BUT, but it has a consistently well-written story and characterization, it addresses stuff I never thought it would, and its a nice break from the ridiculously high stakes of the other series. Honestly Rescue Bots is great and I wish more people talked about it because its a series totally worth watching, certainly as much as any of the others.
More Than Meets the Eye comics: there are a lot of comic series but so far this is my favorite one lol
Summary: the war is over, Optimus is done with everyone’s shit and splits the matrix in half, giving one to rodimus and they other to bumblebee. And what does roddy do with his newfound matrix half? Decide he’s going on a quest of course! And who better to go with than literally every unqualified misfit the autobot and neutral factions have to offer?
Why you should give it a try: ridiculous shenanigans, horror, drama, intrigue, strong characterisation, and a killer aesthetic. Damn it may not always give me what I want but its got a lot of exactly what I’m always looking for.
There are some video games (Fall of Cybertron, War For Cybertron, Transformers: Devastation), other comic series (Robots in Disguise, G1/UK comics), and the Robots in Disguise cartoon, however I don’t have a decent enough grasp on them to describe them super well I just know they’re pretty good and have had people recommend them to me. You’re welcome to try those as well of course.
Also if you’re into toy collecting or want to get into it there’s a lot of materials you can read and such but my personal advice is pretty simple:
1) go to walmart, target, a store that sells collectibles, a convention, or a garage sale
2) buy a cheap toy that you like. Don’t spend over like $20
3) decide if that was a fun experience or not and if you like having this toy or not
If you liked it enough to keep buying, then congrats, toy collecting might be right for you! Do your research, Don’t blow too much money too quickly, take it easy, have fun.
But yeah sorry this is really long but I do hope you consider giving transformers a try since I know I love it a lot and it really has a lot to offer. I hope this wasn’t like…a crazy response. That a crazy person might give. And that I didn’t scare you away or anything XS
the key is to try some stuff and have fun and if its not your thing that’s cool too! Have a chill night anon

if there was a p3p manga adaption of the femc route whould you like the femc from the game or her have an independently personality like shoji from the p4 manga?
Sorry for late response, had to think about it (and the post gets long cause I have to work through my thought process sorry ;w; but if you don’t want to bother with that go to the very end with the tldr; 8U). Hmmmm tbh I thought that Minato, Makoto, and Souji (still salty they spelt it differently in the US release >.>), and I guess Anime!Yu (both original and golden, to an extent), and even their Drama CD/Stage play counterparts (note I only know a little about these) reflected the game MCs in ways that reflect certain choices you can make (so like they’re personalities can all be sourced from the game but the media chooses to only focus on select personality traits). Like:
(under the cut cause length my bad)
P3 Male MC:
Minato: reflects the laid back choices, doesn’t really talk unless spoken to
Makoto: Originally reflects the asshole options before getting character development that gives him more humble personality (he was originally going to be more of an asshole but they felt no one would like him and I say it could’ve worked tbh).
DramaCD: Weird mixture of the above, He’s aloof and will be a little sarcastic, but he’s also laid back.
Sakuya Shiomi (stage plays): tbh I can’t really say considering they aren’t subbed, but he comes off as similar to the Drama CD (his facial expressions remind me of Movie1!Makoto tho)
P4MC (I will paraphrase Souji/Original Anime!Yu as someone already did this more in depth, but there’s the link I recommend reading it):
Souji: (his personality reflects a lot of how I play the game haha) He mature but has insecurities, he’s serious, professional, cool and independent, but can also joke around. He’s also a manly man (how some people view him) who is also very motherly (and fatherly). So he reflects those choices in game (ngl Souji and FeMC had a lot more vast personality choices than P3Male)
Original Anime!Yu: Socially awkward, very prone to his loneliness, he’s more the joking choices (but his are treated more of “Oh he’s being weird again” than with Souji it’s like “haha look at this cool dude crackin’ jokes! XD”)
Golden!Yu: More confident person of OA!Yu, I think has some aspects of Souji in him (but that could be more because he’s more confident cause it’s an NG+ for him). (I won’t lie I didn’t finish this anime so hard to judge). I dunno how to explain it, I guess it’s if OA!Yu tried to act like Souji?
Arena/Ultimax/PQ!Yu/MC: Despite the name he’s actually more like Souji’s personality.
Drama CD: From what I sped read for this, he’s more like Souji again.
Stage plays: Same as Souji from what I could tell (again don’t really know his personality that well).
So if I’m being honest, I’m a fan of Souji’s (and also means game!Yu) adaptation of the P4MC, and with P3…..I…kinda like Makoto more (I like Minato’s name more tho)….it might be because I hold a soft spot for asshole!P3MCs (which I’ll get to in a bit) like with Movie1!Makoto.
Now for FeMC. Well P4MC had a lot more personality choices than P3MC (I mean their only options were “decent/nice comment” “…./silence” was “asshole response” 8U), and the same can be said for FeMC. She has a very broad personality setting ranging from hyper, to happy, to sad, to silence, to angry, to sarcastic and/or asshole, to serious, to overwhelmingly positive (aka Maya-like), to “I will cut a binch.” That’s….much broader than P3MC’s 3 options tbh (ok to be fair he kinda has a 4th one and it’s “just tell the person what they want to hear” which can sometimes-usually fall under the original 3 tho 8U). There is one general consensus with her is that she has been known for being a stepford smiler to some (which if she ever gets an adaptation, would really be a great thing to explore. It feels like it sets her positivity apart from Maya). But from media we have gotten from her….
FeMC:
Anthology comics: (I know I didn’t include this for P3/4MCs, fight me) Depending on the story/artist they’ll heavily cover each of said personality options listed above. Tho interpretations that stand out a lot is “too pure for this world” and “cracks (bad) jokes” (and sometimes “is very perverted,” which tbh I’m always down for perverted FemC 8U)
Drama CD: Is upbeat and nice and will do anything for her friends, but at times will cut a binch (and I think they have to hold her back when she goes into that mode). (oddly enough this is how I usually play her too 8U)
Kotone Shiomi (stage play): From what I can tell……she’s similar to the drama cd counterpart?
So yeah…..going off of this….I’d say I’d be fine with a DramaCD type manga adaptation (as long as they explore that stepford smile trope really I’ll just be a happy little monkey). But, if I had to be REALLY honest…. I’d want an Asshole!FeMC. 8U I mean it wouldn’t be out of character, she has those options, and it’d be different (and maybe appeal to moe gap people, I think). I think it comes from two fanfics I read, the first one was waaaaaaay back when P3P came out, Persona 3 Portable: Minako’s Story and was the only novelization recap I’d read of either P3/4 (never read a Fairly English Story cause…I dunno, and I never read P4: Split Personalities cause it contained my NoTPs). And while it’s been awhile since I read P3P:MS (can barely remember  any of it tbh), I really liked how the FeMC was an asshole (even if it was mostly in her mind). It was just unique to me, it never crossed my mind….similar to how the FeMC and MaleMC maybe not being fraternal twins never crossed my mind and now to segue into…. The Fools’ Tournament. Ohhhhh my gawd. Just 3 years later I would find this fic (and this one is a full retelling of P3 to boot, and the only full retelling fic of Persona I’ve ever read/finished that’s been completed), and it’s consumed my soul since 2013. O_O This….this fic, it’s what really made me love the idea of asshole P3MCs (whom, btw aren’t related hence my segue). But no, no, Minato and Hamuko in this fic are freaking horrible to each other (and then they are super sweet and then super horrible and on goes this roller coaster), but it’s not like they’re karma houdinies. If they screw up they have to pay for it (as the author describes them, “they are very bad people trying to do good but keep screwing up”). I’m sorry I just….love this fic. ;w; Anyways, basically this fanfic is the reason why I think if they wanted to make Movie1!Makoto more of an asshole, it still would’ve worked if they worked it the right way.
Tldr; So yeah. I’m down for a well rounded FeMC (similar to Souji from P4 manga and game!Yu). But I’d be on cloud 9 if we get an Asshole!FeMC adaptation. (and I’m always down for her being a bit of a pervert. 8U

Our Jurassic Journey - A Documentary on Jurassic Explorer | INTERVIEW with Michael Pearce!
Fans of Jurassic World and its video game incarnations may remember our look at Jurassic Explorer, a fantastic three-dimensional game which lets fans get explore the world of a functioning Jurassic World park from a first-person perspective. Before you read today’s piece, we recommend you check out our other feature on the game, where we chatted to the Game’s lead developer, Michael Pearce.
Today we are breaking down an upcoming project tied into Jurassic Explorer, known as ‘Our Jurassic Journey’ – a behind the scenes documentary which will explore the creation of Jurassic Explorer. Ahead of the documentary’s debut in December, we wanted to catch up with Michael again to discuss more about what goes into creating a project of truly ‘Jurassic’ proportions. Check out the interview below:
Hi Michael – thanks for sitting down with us again! It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were chatting about Jurassic Explorer. I heard you and your team have been making a Documentary. So, what is 'Our Jurassic Journey'?
It's good to be back here, Tom! Last time we talked was just before we released Season 2 of our fan game, "Jurassic Explorer", which was more than a year ago now. Since that time our team has been hard at work making a Documentary which will explore the three-year journey our development team took to make Jurassic Explorer. We call this Documentary “Our Jurassic Journey: A Documentary on Jurassic Explorer".
What inspired you to make a documentary about the journey behind Jurassic Explorer?
There were a lot of little things, but I’d say there's two main reasons. Since we released Season 1, the project really blew up and got noticed by many members of the community. Having all those ideas and having the opportunity to expand on the game with Season 2 was a dream come true. By that time, we had learned so much about game development, art, music and our own abilities, and we wanted to share that process with everyone. I think people don't understand what really goes into fan projects behind-the-scenes, and how valuable those skills can be as game developers.
Our Documentary isn’t exclusively about Jurassic Explorer however, and this is the other reason I wanted to make a documentary. My brother and I have been making games since we were young (5 & 7 years old), and as we've grown up it's been a consistent thing we've both pursued. With both of us now entering the industry, I wanted to highlight our journey into employment within our dream sector too, and how we've progressed and gotten to where we are by working together.
How long can we expect the Documentary to be? Is it a short film? Something more?
Our Jurassic Journey will be roughly an hour and twenty minutes long. It’s feature-film length, purely because we had a lot to say and many things to cover.
This Documentary explores much more than just our fan project. It looks at game development all around the world, and follows us on that journey together. We always aimed to make it feel enjoyable to both those who have and haven't heard about Jurassic explorer before.
What was the biggest thing the process of working on Jurassic Explorer taught you?
So, as a game developer, it’s a unique industry. It's something that can be taught in schools, but it’s not as straight forward as getting taught other jobs. I think something a ton of upcoming developers are missing these days are the practical skills you learn when not only being in a development team, but by making a game together whilst directing and guiding the team yourself. Those three major skills become incredibly important when you make a game yourself.
There's a lot of programmers, artists and designers out there who have the theory down but can't find a team to work with, or can't quite complete a full game. It happens all the time, as it’s not easy to find a team or find the opportunity to complete a game.
So, I’d say my biggest takeaway from working on Jurassic Explorer is working on a game, completing it, and directing all of it as a lead dev. Learning all the intricacies of that process along the way was also beneficial. Those practical skills are incredibly valuable and I wouldn't have been able to gain them without the amazing team we've formed together.
Where do you hope to go in the future, now Jurassic Explorer is under your belt?
We dive into what’s next for me and the team in the Documentary, so I don't want to give too much away. I will say that there's a ton of opportunities out there that we're working towards.
We have many ideas and lots of experience that I think will hopefully continue to impress people, and put smiles on people’s faces. With JE we really identified both our skills and our own unique style as a team. I hope that all our future games can capture the same mood and feelings that JE prompted in the audiences who experienced the project
More than anything, I hope people will continue to follow us through our next journey.
Let’s talk about the team – how did you assemble a group of people who wanted to work on this project?
It began in 2015 when I made a (looking back at it, terrible!) 3D Model of the Innovation Centre from JW. It was never supposed to be anything more than that, and I simply did it as a fun learning experience. But, as I shared it online, it gained traction, and people wanted more. So, I made more.
I expanded from the Innovation Centre, eventually forming the whole park, and over time I found our first team member, Andreas Strom.
For about a year we worked on that early project (Back then, simply called "Jurassic World 3D Project") and released three versions to the public which got coverage across YouTube and social media.
After that, we restarted the project from the ground up to build it in new and better software, and alongside three other new team members (Bernard, Zack and River), we began work on Jurassic Explorer.
From day one we knew it was a project we could learn from, and we knew it was an opportunity to grow and develop our talents as a team.
The rest is history!
What did everyone who got involved contribute to the project?
We have a team of 6 members.  The core team consisting of Bernard, River and I.
I am the lead developer and 3D Environment Artist. My job is to not only lead the project and decide what is happening and how, but to also make all the art for the games. I also have been involved in directing and editing the accompanying films, too!
Bernard is our Music Composer, and is incredibly talented. All our melodies, musical pieces and anything you hear in both the games and the film will have been composed by him. I've worked very closely with Bernard on each piece produced, and have even been lucky enough to write out some melodies for the game too.
River is our General Programmer and will play a very important role in the next journey we undertake.
Andreas is our Character Artist which means he makes all the Dinosaurs and other organic visuals in our games.
Zack handled all the AI Programming in Jurassic Explorer and brought the dinosaurs who appeared in the game to life.
Lastly, we also had some help from my brother Brandon with programming.  You may know Brandon from the famous Minecraft Mod - 'The Aether'.
One member of the team found a very cool job after JE – can you tell us a little more about that?
I can't mention anything specific until after the Documentary is released. But, I will say it really puts into perspective how valuable projects like this can be. It's not just making something that gets you to where you want to go, but it’s keeping at it and persisting throughout the trials and tribulations that projects can face. You must make it your everything. You can’t just give up.
This whole journey for all of us has been amazing and the opportunities we're finding because of what we've learned along the way are both special, and extremely exciting!
I hope you're excited to find out more when the documentary releases.
Lastly, what is next for the Dimensional Digital Team?
A lot! We're not going anywhere, and this is just the start of another journey we're taking.
Creating this Documentary has been incredible for us, and has taught us so much. I've never done something like this before, so making a feature length film which allowed us to express ourselves this way has been amazing.
I hope that you all continue to follow our journey in the future.
Where can everyone follow up if they want to learn more?

Amazing picture book, see review So, I did not give this 5 stars, although if you're looking for a "coffee table" or "inspire me" book, this is definitely AMAZING. I was looking for a little "more" out of it and so returned it. I thought it would be a bit more detailed for the work itself. So, if anyone wants a book on altered books and books as art that is even somewhat instructional or has examples, then this is NOT the book for you. If I had room on my book shelf for something that is "eye-candy" then this would be IT. It is awesome to see these artist's work. I just wanted something more hands-on than what this book is. Go to Amazon
For lovers of books This is one of those products which is true to its theme from the moment you unwrap it.Being a book about the beauty and creativity of books it has itself to be worthy, which it certainly is. It is a pleasure to hold and to explore, as the design and concept have been carefuly considered. Go to Amazon
The Book as Art I do love this book! This is a wonderful book as is other books from the National Museum of Women in the Arts. I'm so happy Amazon.com carries this and other books such as "Push Paper," "1000 Artists' Books," ... with many more creative and imaginary content. Thank you! Go to Amazon
Bookmaking is art This book is a wonderful review of the art of books as contemporary sculpture. As a fiber artist-bookmaker-handmade paper maker, I bought a copy for my own library, then gave another copy as a gift to a fellow artist who was interested in using books and book images in art. Inspirational as well as informative. I look forward to seeing the actual exhibition. Go to Amazon
amazing Incredible women artists with amazing altered books. A truly wonderful collection. It is soo inspriring. The book itself is well presented, with lovely photos and so forth. this book shows that altered books arnt just craft, they are ART. Well worth the price!! (BTW if you couldnt tell from the title this is an art book not a how to book) Go to Amazon
Exquisite display of artists' books The collection of artists' books at the National museum of Women in The Arts is as fine a collection as you can find anywhere. Highly recommend this for a great gift. Go to Amazon
Beautiful and Inspiring I am a mixed media artist and art teacher who has discovered a love for viewing and creating artist books. This catalogue of artist books is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Even though this isn't a how to book, it has given me much inspiration for art projects for my students and for myself. Go to Amazon
Amazing book It's a very nice book, all the pages in full color. A lot of good ideas and all different. Go to Amazon
