Watched the MLB movie and I just. I WANT to gush about it but the fact that Marinette’s regular voice actor and her singing voice actor sound SO different just took me out of it every time and left me feeling very disengaged;; At least Adrien’s singing voice kind of sounds like his speaking voice (and Gabriel’s is 👌 bc my king Keith Silverstein can actually sing and he can sing REALLY fucking well) but Marinette’s. The voices are COMPLETELY different and it threw me off every single time. Like obviously her singing voice is really good and I understand why they picked that person to do her songs but bro you could have at least TRIED to get someone that sounds similar to Cristina Vee. It drove me nuts every time she sang bc I was like “That is CLEARLY a different person entirely!!”

I’m realizing this might have been a dubbing issue but still 😭 I feel like I would have enjoyed the movie way more if it didn’t look like Marinette was lip syncing the entire time bc there was such a huge disconnect between her speaking and singing voice

#Also I can’t fucking believe they did that to my boy Plagg. They RUINED him #He did not deserve that #Miraculous Ladybug #MLB #MLB movie #ALSO. Also. Personally. YALL. everyone go watch story of kunning palace i swear it’s worth it im still riding an insane high after i finished it last night.

it’s a very good solid drama for 30 episodes kinda slow burn but well written with good characters and decent plots.

and then in the last 8 episodes, the guy’s sidekick tells him “maybe you should show her how you really feel. show her the real you” and he proceeds to go batshit feral insane. which after watching her pine after and then reject the most morally upright guy ever it fucking WORKS ON HER because she is ALSO insane!!

after that it’s just 8 episodes of him being sloppy desperate for her and begging her to give him an answer while she’s just there buffering because she has to readjust her whole worldview with this news that he’s liked her all along?? she went out to meet her former crush and when she got home he sat her down and made her eat a dinner he made. that was drowning in vinegar. because if he had to drink vinegar then SO SHOULD SHE. and after she doesn’t eat much at dinner he plops down a tray of her favourite cake. that he had given her before earlier in the drama. announces that he made it with his own hands. and she’s like :0 “you made it for me even back then?? but back then we were only….” and he’s immediately like “only? only what? what were we back then? what about now? is it different now? what are we?” and she’s just like .

I think the problem with me with Jean Grey is that she always in some way screws so much with Scott I know it's an horrible comparison but the MCU is one of those times I cannot fully say about the comics since I'm still new but not just the movies there were times with the animation if I recall that she would even though be with Scott but her heart is conflicted by Logan and the fact that she kind of egged Logan on about it where with from with the whole Rouge Magneto & Remy even though Remy wanted Rouge he backed away and stood far for allowing Rouge for what she wanted to do in order to get what she always wanted cause no one else has Remy cared for someone so much as Rouge he WANTS her to be happy to where with Jean trying to explain she kind of purposely mess with Logan even though she is in love with Scott and majority does but she still has an opening for Logan once in a while and though I do and don't like Jean this is the thing I cannot stand seeing of her messing with other people feelings especially when she knows that Logan does care about her and yet she always goes back to Scott 🤨

not TO TOOT MY OWN HORN too much, BUT... yeah my Shinso really is the best. Or rather, I should say, one of them.

Something absolutely ferocious about him when he is depicted as beefy and stern but squishy as a gummi bear on the inside. Literally incapable of smiling but can't ever be mean to you, either (unless you're in trouble and he's worriedddd). Thick hands, even thicker heart that just bleeds and bleeds and bleeds for you and only you, HE'D LITERALLY JUST DIE IF THAT'S WHAT U ASKED HIM TO DO. Pine for one billion years if you didn't love him back.

He's gotta be kinda pathetic tho, too. Not in a... lame way, but like: his bed has one sheet on it kind of way, and there's only ketchup in his fridge... like, he sees no reason to pull himself together unless it's you who's asking (he does take care of his cat, though. I really do love a cat man more than anything).

AND SHINSO STILL GETS KINDA JITTERY touching you, at least those first few months. He's so realistic, he's like: "oh I know they can't be chased away that easily har har," but then he's kissing you and he's so scared there's a chance one day it might stop that his heart is hurting and he's making it all intense for no reason. And as you end up closer and closer together on his bed, your knee moving to straddle his lap, YES HIS LEG IS BOUNCING IT'S SO AJSDGLAJKSHFJKAHFKJAHFKJNJKHKJFHADLJKFHA and he keeps trying to distract you from looking at him too hard.

He has to blow your mind w/ that peen of his to make himself feel better about the whole thing. Like why are you hurting all day the next day for no reason and he's acting like nothing happened (except he doesn't brush his hair still asjkdfhjk).

Anyway I could go on fucking FORVER about this guy I want him 20 feet up in my guts immediately I would have 1000s of his children but he barely even wants two I NEED TO USE HIS HERO MONEY TO DONATE TO CHARITY AND HE WOULDN'T EVEN STOP ME.
