QSMP has made me miss Youtube Community Captions more than anything else has.

Like I didn't know it was a thing until they announced they were getting rid of it and I checked it out and it was a good system. I could go through videos and edit text timed incorrectly or had misheard what the person said.

In the comments of QSMP clips, PEOPLE ARE TRANSLATING FOR EACH OTHER! Imagine if they could do that with actual captions.

I'm a dumb monolingual, I don't know a damn thing, but I could translate nonsensical English like panicked screaming and American slang like "y'all'd've" and "jeet?" I could translate some British slang to with a bit of google
