Stronger Together (Pt. 3)
Warnings for the whole series: Transphobia, Racism, Language, Angst, Fluff, a long ass fic… Haha.

A/N: Thank you so much for requesting this! It was extremely fun to write. I may or may not try to do a part four to this, it would just be a really fluffy fic, but we’ll see! I currently have a few other requests I need to tend to. :) Thank you so much again.

“Are you kidding? It’s Lillian Luthor.” She scoffs.
“What do you mean it’s Lillian Luthor?!” You shrieked.
“Rao… She hasn’t told you… She’s nothing like her mom or brother… trust me on that. She’s a good person, one of the best I’ve met.” She rambled.
“I know she is.” You sigh.
Kara looks at you worried, but you smile softly, reassuring her that you’re not upset, just worried.
“Her mother is probably the reason she isn’t here… She loves doing these things.” She sighs.
“Well then let’s go save our girl.” You suggest.
Kara nods. She starts walking towards her car, but you stop her. She looks at you questioningly.
“Tell me her address... “ You mumble.
She only heard you due to her super hearing. She looks at you with a confused look in her eyes.
“Please?”
She nods and tells you. You reach your hand out for her to grab and take off, flying towards her house. You land there within ten minutes.
“Woah what?!” She exclaims.
“Yeah… Kind of sort of not human, I’ll explain later… To both of you.”
You walk up and knock on the door. Lillian opens it and looks at you with a dark, cold expression.
“What do you want? If you’re here about the protests, I don’t want to hear it.” She sighs.
“We’re actually here to talk to Lena Luthor.” Kara steps in.
“She’s busy.”
“Is that why she’s sitting in her room staring at the ceiling?” You ask with a raised eyebrow.
“Excuse me? She’s not even home.” She blatantly lies.
You sigh and push past her with Kara not far behind.
“Hey!” You hear her call behind you.
You both ignore her and walk into Lena’s room.
“(YN)..? What are you- Kara?” She sits up.
“We’re here to get you out of here.” You state.
“How did you find m-”
“I gave her the address.” Kara interrupts.
Kara walks further into the room. “Whatever happens, we’ll figure it out, okay?”
“We’re stronger together.” You state.
You’re about to walk further into the room when you suddenly feel like there are pins and needles stabbing into your skin. You start feeling dizzy. The brunette drives the kryptonite knife into your flesh, but you knock it out of her hand before she can do an extensive amount of damage. Your hand grabs your side and you crawl over to Lena with the little strength you have. Kara looks over at you and sees you falling and the green glow coursing through your veins.
“Shit… Alex, come in… Code green at the Luthor’s estate. Director Danvers, come in.” Kara mumbles into her earpiece.
By the time you’ve fallen unconscious, Lillian has started getting up. Luckily, Kara being on her toes 24/7, she sees it coming and throws a punch, hitting Lillian in the jaw hard enough to knock her out for the time being.
“What… what happened… Is she going to be okay? Kara… what do we do?” Lena panics, looking down at your unresponsive state.
Alex and a group of DEO agents show up in record time, containing Lillian and putting the Kryptonite weapon in a lead lined box. Alex walks into the room and sees you laying on the ground, green coursing through your veins.
“Shit… I thought it was yo-” She starts.
“It doesn’t matter, we need to get her to the DEO and under the sun lamp stat.” Kara commands.
Her sister nods and picks you up with the help of Jonn. You’re taken to the DEO with Lena and Kara following close behind.

“Your girlfriend is Kryptonian... “ Kara says, breaking the silence.
“How do you-” Lena begins saying.
“Kryptonite only has an affect on Kryptonians.”
“I was going to ask how you knew if she was my girlfriend, Ms. Danvers.” Lena chuckles, nudging her friend.
“OH… Well she risked everything, her identity and unknowingly risked her life for you…” Kara shrugs.
Lena blushes at the statement. You hadn’t even gone on a first date, but she knew she was in love with you. You’re strong, powerful, physically and mentally… charming-
“Luthor… you okay there? You’re staring off.” Kara interrupts her thoughts.
“Yeah.” She smiles and looks down at her hands.
They pull into the DEO and get out. They’re informed that you have not awaken yet, but they want to be there when you do.

You jolt awake on the sunbed, not remembering where you are all too well.
“Hey hey hey. Calm down, you’re at the DEO. It’s okay.” Lena lays a hand on your shoulder.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt? Where’s Kara? Did they get your mother?” You babble.
“We’re all okay. Everyone is okay. My mother has been dealt with thanks to you.” She smiles.
You let out a sigh of relief. Kara walks in and smiles at you. You look at her Supergirl outfit and back up at her. She nods. “It’s me.”
You nod and you all sit there in silence.
“Guess I have some explaining to do…” You chuckle.
Kara stares at you and starts giggling.
“What the hell?” You laugh.
“You’re Kryptonian.” She giggles.
“Oh… No, I thought I was a white martian.” You say sarcastically.
“...You guys are weird.” Lena rolls her eyes.
You both shrug.
Alex walks in and informs you that she needs to run some tests on you and inspect the stab wound. You nod and let her do so.
“The wound should be healing soon due to the radiation of the sun bed, so I’ll have to ask you to stay here for another hour or so.” She smiles.
“Thank you, Ms. Danvers.”
She nods and smiles, stepping aside for Jonn to walk in.
“Ms. (y/n) Lar-El. Glad to see you awake.” He walks up to shake your hand.
“Pleasure to meet you..”
“Jonn.” He informs you.
“Pleasure to meet you, Jonn.” You smile.
“Same to you. I wanted to ask you if you’d be interested in training here. Maybe work alongside Supergirl and everyone here.” He asks.
“I uhm… I would be honored, sir.” You stutter.
He smiles and nods. “Ms. Danvers will speak do you about the details later, get some rest.”
He and Alex walk out. Due to your super hearing you hear Jonn quietly cheering and Alex chuckling. You and Kara both laugh slightly.
“Thank you by the way…” Lena smiles at you.
You smile at her softly and nod. “Always.”
She leans closer to your face, you can feel her breath on your lips. You lean forward and close the gap, earning a cheer from Kara. The kiss grows more heated and Kara takes that as her queue.
“I’m just gonna… go.” She says awkwardly, locking the door behind her.
You briefly hear Kara let out a faux gag followed by her mumbling, “I did not need to see that...”
You chuckle and pull away, staring into Lena’s eyes.
“Do you really want to do this here? We haven’t even gone on our first date yet, Ms. Luthor.” You smirk at her.
She desperately. You chuckle lowly. “Okay.”
“Okay.” She repeats.
She runs her hands through your coarse, curly locks and moves to straddle your hips.

See Lena doesnt want to hurt Kara! She may have said it was due to sticking to the mission but she freaked out trying to stop those canons.
Ok F**k off Alex!! "She lied to us for month's' pot calling the kettle black!
Alex is getting in my nerves, so quick to condemn Lena and not listen to Kara at all.
So quick to listen to Jonn and Malefic but won't give Kara a chance to talk for Lena.
Lena is really struggling with not listening to Kara, she clearly wants to but can't bring herself to.
Yes Kara, you are finally understanding why Lena is mad.
Oh f**k off Alex! Using 'protecting them' as an excuse when EVERYONE knows! Alex can also f**k off because she's completely changing her tune where Lena is concerned, suddenly bringing up Lex being out of prison when Lena was trying to cure him, then bringing up reign when she was actually the only one to understand at the time. F**k the writers as well! Just because YOU couldn't figure out what was wrong with Sam Alex!
I swear to God Alex and Jonn can both f**k off! Malefic is worth the chance, but Kara fails to talk to Lena twice and now it's OK to blow her up?!!

😂😂 OK of course Malefic is free, besides everything he did, I mean yes he helped but bloody hell, as long as it's not Lena everyone is forgiven for all things. Jonn and his brother can kill as they see fit and it's all fine! Where's Alex's attitude here? Yeah Mal changed but it doesn't erase anything he did, but apparently as long as you're not a Luthor you get forgiven for all things.

Alex can f**k off this episode, she let personal feelings cloud her judgment, yes Kara did to but Kara isn't the director of the DEO. Alex is thinking too much about what happened to Kelly and is willing to change her entire attitude, not listen to Kara at all leave it till the very last second to take the actual genius Brainys advice and oh she then let's Malefic the source of all that anger WALK FREE?!! Alex and Kara swapped personalities here, Alex decided to be season 3 Kara in her approach to Lena and Kara took on mind wiped Alex?? This is just last writing.
Rama Khan was boring, simple ass.
Lena is broken, she wants to listen to Kara but it looks like every time she's about to let her in again Lex's voice is telling her that Kara is a liar. Look how deflated she was when she found out the DEO was tracking her, another 'lie' from Kara is all Lena is shown.
Andrea as Hope we ace!
A little disappointed that Lena let Hope go out when she has previously shown concern for Eve.
You can really understand Katie's interview in this episode , Lena is 100% convinced she is the good guy, her broken face when she realises 'good guy's' Don't always win.
Not arsed about Hope/Eve being arrested, Eve worked with Lex, tried to kill Lena and actually shot James so she can do one.
Sooo up to now, Kara, Alex, Brainy, Jonn, Andrea, Malefic can all kill people and either be forgiven or have their redemption, if Lena is left out in the cold I may be done with this.

Honestly, the more I think about this the more it doesn’t make sense to me. So, you are telling me, Lena Luthor who has multiple PHDs and own a 500 company does not know her best friend was Supergirl?
Kara Danvers is not the best of all liars, like hell, she even told Lena she flew to her office on a bus. SHE FLEW TO HER OFFICE ON A GODDAMN BUS. I mean like okay, I let Lena write it off as Kara being a goof, that she is. But! listen, how many times Kara suddenly disappear then comes Supergirl to save Lena or how many time somehow Supergirl knows something only Kara would know. As the proclaimed genius Lena Luthor is, and you are telling me she cannot put the two and two together? Plus, Lena is Kara’s best friend. They spend a questionably amount of times with each other. Are you telling me that Lena did not ever, ever notice how similar Kara and Supergirl speech pattern is?
Lena knows about Jonn’, Alex, Brainy, Nia and Sam. shit wait also James too, I forgot. Are you telling me that she never assumes that the whole friend group somehow all know this mystery blonde that’s flying over National City who looks ridiculously like her best friend that she might or might not be in love with, but Kara Danvers, an ace reporter who is known for digging up the truth, does not know about the whole alien organisation? Not to mention, Alex, the director of said organisation is Kara’s sister.
Are the SG writers trying to make Lena dumb? I mean the one reason I can personally come up with is that “love is blind” but Lena and Kara's relationship is supposed to be purely platonic. So, what is the reasons that Lena can figure out Sam was Reign (and cure her from being a world killer) but not Kara is Supergirl? Like look me in the eyes and tell me, Lena never recognise those blue eyes behind the glasses are the same that are sporting the red cape?
You know what pisses me off the most? Okay. Lena never suspects a thing. The way she’s reacting is, well... reasonable, yet a little bit too salty for her? Like isn’t she suppose to be logical? To not letting emotions to get in her way? Okay. From the way they put it, Lena does rewatch the clip that Lex reveals Kara’s identity with. And tell me that most or even all of the times that Kara didn’t use her powers to keep Lena safe? Because she did. The most ridiculous one was the one Kara risked her own safety and her secret just to fly Lena to the hospital asap? I mean... be mad but that girl was only trying her best. Like Lena said, she never makes herself as a saint, and neither does Kara. Supergirl is like a god because the people of National City made her. Kara has always been nothing but humble, as Supergirl or not.
I refuse to believe that Lena Luthor would actually react this way and try to hurt the one person that she ever loved and the one person that she knows full well that loves her back. Especially, not after the heartfelt apology that Kara did and giving her valid reasons on why she did what she did. I mean Lena didn’t tell her about Sam or making Kryton or even working with Lex.

They're stronger, together.
Chapter 1: Movie Night
It was a peaceful autumn evening in National City. The trees were making the turn from bright green to a nice orange colour, the skies were a bit darker than usual and the temperature was starting to drop. All in all, fall was rather beautiful in the city, though Kara had to admit that the colours were much more interesting out in Midvale where they seemed to pop just a bit more than they did here.
“Alex? I’m home!” Kara yelled into the small apartment she shared with her sister. Tossing her work bag down and hanging up her coat she did a quick scan of her living space and found her sister to be in the kitchen with… of course, a beer in her hand.
With a small smile on her lips, she rolled her eyes and took her shoes off before making her way into the cozy little place she called home. “Drinking already? Don’t you think it’s a bit early for that?” She said quietly, knowing full well that Alex would drink wherever and whenever she pleased. As she asked, the blonde-haired Danvers made a beeline towards their fridge in search of something to eat.
“It’s past five and Haley was a pain in the ass today.” Alex shrugged whilst taking a long sip of her beer. “Did you at least have a good day today? Maybe make up for the crappy one I had?”
Kara just shook her head as she grabbed a cold piece of pizza they had had for supper the night before. “Snapper was a butt today. Apparently, I don’t write well enough and I need to stop writing about all the aliens in the city and start writing stuff that’s “newsworthy”,” she said, making air quotes around on that last word. “And, to top it all off, the DEO had Winn working for them all day so he wasn’t even at Catco to talk about how much of a big ol’ meanie Snapper is!” She whined before taking a bite of her pizza.
Alex let out a soft chuckle as Kara’s face morphed from looking like a puppy that had just been kicked to a puppy that had just been fed a piece of roasted chicken. “Well, if you need me to, I can always kick him in the ass. Or go flash my badge at him and give him a scare.” She gave Kara a huge grin, taking another quick swig of her drink.
“Nah, I can deal with him. It’s not like he scares me or anything... I mean, I’ve dealt with aliens ten times bigger than him. A man who scowls and shouts constantly is like a walk in the park...”
“Liar. You’re totally scared of him.”“I am not!”“Crinkle,” Alex pointed out, shoving her finger on Kara’s forehead to prove her point.
“Damn crinkle…” Kara groaned as she pushed Alex’s finger away.
“Anywho, you say you’re not scared of him and yet here you are, talking about the mean old man who critics your work and yells way too much. If you’re not scared of him, you have a horrible way of showing it. Seriously, it’s like he’s always got a stick up his a--”
“ALEX!” Kara shrieked and shoved her sister gently. “Don’t say that! He may not be the nicest person on earth but… golly that’s just… no! Don’t say that!”
The redheaded sister just laughed and shook her head. “God, you’re such an innocent little bean, Kar. I don’t think I’ve ever heard you swear once.”
“Cuz I don’t… swear that is… swearing is just… it’s unnecessary. I’m a writer which means I’m more… y’know… with words… and since I’m… that, I find gooder… I mean, better words to use to express myself.”
“Oh yeah… you’re great with words sis.” She chuckled as Kara finished up her cold piece of pizza.
Kara let out a sigh and shook her head, gently pushing her sister out of the way as she headed towards the living room. “Whatever…” she said as she turned to stick her tongue out at the taller of the two girls. “So, what are we watching for sister’s night?” She plopped herself down on the couch, grabbing the remote with her greasy pizza hands and looked up at her sister.
“Hmm, who’s turn to choose?” Alex asked as she followed suit and sat down on the far end of the couch, pulling her legs up so she could lay them on Kara’s lap.
“I think I chose last time since we watched that musical.”
“Then it’s my turn and I choose…” She sat quietly for a few seconds before her eyes lit up with something Kara couldn’t pinpoint… until she could. Uh oh...
“Oh, Rao… Alex no… please no…” She let out a groan as she looked at her sister, a pleading look on her face. “Anything but that…”
“Nope! You said it was my turn to choose! And I choose “The Shining”!” Alex now had a huge grin on her face.
“You’re unbelievable...” Kara mumbled under her breath before flipping on the TV and finding the movie in question on Netflix. “You know how much I hate these scary movies…”
“For a crime-fighting alien, you sure are scared of a lot of little things…” Alex chuckled. “I mean, you’ve literally gone to space, fought dragons, travelled through time… hell, you’ve even gone to a whole other universe and yet these movies and Snapper scare you.”
“Okay, stop right there. These movies are just… they’re terrifying. And Snapper? Well you know I hate being yelled at.” Mumbling quietly, she pushed her glasses up on her nose before pressing play on the movie. She knew she’d regret watching this later but it was Alex’s turn to choose the movie so she was willing to sit through this painful experience.
“Don’t worry sis. Big sister Alex is here to protect you.” She pat Kara’s head with a shit-eating grin on her face. She let out a laugh when Kara tried to shove her away.
“Y’know, I am older? Kinda? I mean I was stuck in the Phantom Zone so technically I’m older than you.” Kara chuckled as she looked at her sister.
Yes, she had been stuck in the Phantom Zone for twenty-four years. She would be older than Alex if it hadn’t been for the fact that she was knocked off course when she was sent off to Earth, away from her dying planet. But because of her experience in space, she’d stayed 12 for twenty-four years, never ageing, making her younger than Alex when she finally arrived on earth and therefore younger than Alex now.
“Technically is just technical.”
“Thanks captain obvious.”
“Shuddup. You know what I mean. Whether you like it or not, I’m older than you right now and I have been since you got here and I will be until the day we die.”
“Whatever. Let’s just watch your dumb movie.” Kara said with a playful eye roll as both girls finally turned their attention back to the movie at hand.

“Alright, I’m off to bed.” Kara smiled as she shut off the TV. They had watched “The Shining”, gone through three more bottles of beer (two of which had all been drunk by Alex) and two big bowls of popcorn (one and a half being eaten all by Kara).
Kara had to admit that the movie hadn’t been as bad as she had expected it to be. She’d only jumped a few times and she hadn’t broken Alex’s hand like the time they had watched “Chucky”.
She stood up and walked into the kitchen to put the bowls into the dishwasher and the bottles of beer in the sink. “You should get to bed. Didn’t you say the DEO has been way busier without Jonn?” She asked her sister, glancing at the redhead who was currently getting up off the couch.
“Yeah… being the director of a highly trained secret organization is way harder than you’d think. Supergirl will be on duty tomorrow right? It’s your day off from Catco?” Alex asked as she walked over to her sister. She leaned against the doorway as she watched Kara clean up.
“Yup. Thank Rao it is. I don’t think I can take another full day of being yelled at by Snapper. I’ll pass by the DEO around two. That sound good? But I’ll be on call whenever you need me.”
“Sounds great sis. I’m going to bed though. Goodnight.” Alex smiled. She kissed her sister’s cheek before walking off towards her room.
Once she finished cleaning everything up, Kara followed suit and tiptoed to her own bedroom, calling it a day and heading to bed for a good night’s sleep. “Tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a better day.” She hoped that that would be the case because today had been a lousy day. She shut off the light before slipping into a gentle slumber.

Pre-Order 'Kulkija': nuclearblast.com/korpiklaani-kulkija About 'Harmaja', the band's frontman, Jonne, says: "'Harmaja' is an unusual KORPIKLAANI song with its slow tempo and emotional strength. The song is about longing and I managed to charge it with a great emotional atmosphere. The text refers to 'Sylvian Joululaulu', a well known poem about longing by Zachris Topelius. The video was shot in the pool of the Maritime Safety Training Centre in Lohja. The water was so cold that even constant visits to the sauna couldn't stop the coldness from creeping into my bones. It was very difficult to remember the lyrics, keep my head above the surface of the water and sing – while at the same time trying to look like I wasn’t freezing to death. All for art! We managed to create a nice contrast in the video with the angel. Director Ville Lipiäinen found her accidentally while grocery shopping. I don't know if he stumbled on her wings or what, but the angel also flew to the same pool in Lohja. The story is about a man missing his dead wife who then returns from the afterlife for one last goodbye, so that the poor man can go on with his life. He manages to drag himself out of the stormy waters back to dry land. Lipiäinen knew exactly what was needed for the video and managed to create just the right atmosphere. The shots change slowly, there is no rush with anything and the story stays just right above the surface until the more stormy ending.” About 'Harmaja' (The Grey): The blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla), the bird in the song, has been unable to migrate south because of a broken wing. The song depicts anxiety and the fading memory. A Finnish poet Zachris Topelius wrote in 1853 a poem titled 'Sylvian joululaulu' about homesickness which is referred to by 'laulu kaipauksen' (a song of yearning) in the song. INTERVIEW: KASABIAN AT LEEDS FESTIVAL

Inside the arena, the anticipation was almost palpable, as tens of thousands held out for alt/indie giants, Kasabian.
Alongside a stacked line-up consisting of Muse and Liam Gallagher, (and a plethora of hidden gems scattered around the smaller stages), Kasabian made their presence known with an impactful setlist spanning their 20 year-old discography.
Belting out established bangers like ‘Underdog’, ‘Club Foot’ and ‘Re-Wired’, the group also peppered their performance with a cover of Nirvana’s ‘All Apologies’, as if the night wasn’t memorable enough.
Out of the small amount of interviews the band did over the weekend, Rachel was lucky enough to have a quick chat with a surprisingly relaxed Tom Meighan, literally moments before they took to the stage.

You played a mega set at Reading last night, played a few covers such as Nirvana’s ‘All Apologies’ and a dash of Daft Punk’s ‘Around the World’. How was it?
Thank you, it was absolutely amazing considering I got out of hospital on Wednesday. It was one of those pivotal moments, a great vibe. Massive crowd.
Kasabian had to cancel their gig at Custom House Square, Belfast on Tuesday 22nd August when Tom came down with a case of ‘severe vomiting’. In a statement from the band, they told fans they were ‘absolutely gutted’ to have to cancel at such short notice but as ‘Tom was taken to hospital, put on a drip and told to rest up’ there was nothing else they could do. The date for a rescheduled gig will be released soon.
So we’re six albums in, five of which are number ones, how have you remained sustainable?
‘Cause we’re good, that’s pretty much it. Most of the bands I know that come out in the noughties (whatever that term even fucking means) went and disappeared apart from Monkeys and Muse and certain other bands. With regards to the new (phenomenal) album ‘For Crying Out Loud’, I asked Tom “who made the decision to stick your roadie on the cover?”
Well, its kind of that the guy’s not going to be around for long bless him, and he’s getting on, so we thought we’d make him a martyr. Serge’s idea – it’s great though, ’cause this guy’s been doing guitar tech for years since the sixties and his first band was the Kinks. Massive history that bloke.
The new album cover for their sixth album, For Crying Out Loud was designed by the artist, fashion designer and creative director, Aitor Troup, who collaborated with Neil Bedford – long term collaborator and photographer and emerging visual artist Daft Apeth to create his third album cover for Kasabian. Neil Bedford photographed veteran roadie, Nick Graham, in a series of black and white portraits as various Kasabian characters. Aitor Troup felt that Nick Graham ‘really represents the band’. He has been with them since the very beginning, and is one of the Kasabian family, so a rather inspired concept from Serge.
The new album lyrically is not we’re used to with Kasabian, you seem to have spilled your guts here. What’s your favourite track on it?
It’d be hard to tell. I love this album because its very human and very real, talking about John was a Scientist and things like that- it ain’t like bloody 48:13 either with puzzle lyrics where you had to fit together to understand whatever Serge was on about. This album to me is personal, this is my favourite without a doubt, it’s a comeback, it’s [about] hope.
We live in an online-obsessed world where no one ever seems to switch off. How does Tom switch off, if you do at all?
Netflix & chill. I love going out for food these days, I never used to be bothered about anything like that. I was more bothered about going out and getting big. I’m quite fond of Italian, although someone took me to a Lebanese, but that wasn’t my fault. Someone pressured me into that…

Yeah, see the thing is with Brucey is he’s one of those people that you think is always going to be around, you can’t ever imagine him going away – he’s just always been there and you think he always will be. It’s really sad. He was in Bedknobs & Broomsticks!

I only buy Calvin Klein pants – white ones and my mum washes ’em. I’m not like P Diddy – I don’t wear ’em and bin ’em but yeah Calvin Kleins. White.
What’s happening now for Kasabian? Obviously, we’ve had the new album but what’s next?
America. They love Acid House out there, so we’re going over there for a bit. Then we’ve got three or four weeks off and we’re doing some Europe dates and the arena tour. Then it’s Christmas with Father Christmas and all that bollocks – wrapping presents and hugging everyone.
What do you think to new music nowadays, who do you listen to?
Some great bands. Mega bands but no support [for them]. No bands are getting played on the commercial radio. It’s rigged – it’s the same bollocks going on – the same fucking Lego-head, same A-list. I think what Mikey Jonns is doing is great, its amazing and Radio X are also amazing and championing the new talent. Sadly I don’t get chance to listen to anyone, I’m too busy now I’ve got a kid and a family, and I’m not 18 anymore going out looking for bands. I’ve got shit to do with my kid. I’m a performer – that’s my job.

Lena shouldn't be the only one who answers for her 'crimes'.
I keep seeing posts about Lena going to jail at the end if all this, but all I have to say is if Lena ends up paying for her 'crimes' Jonn Jonzz best end up paying for his blatant outright MURDER of Manchester Bla..... oh.... what's that? You mean the 'heroes' are allowed to kill people, let them drop to their 'deaths' and adorably smile about it right after, beat the crap out of them and mess with their minds all because they are the 'heroes'???
Well... That's some double standard crap right there!
Seriously though, I will never let go of Manchester Blacks death at the hands of Jonn because he got mad! And Kara being shocked for all of 5 seconds!! Before we cut to the next scene where she's like 'it's OK, you can still be a man of peace, what's one murder of an unarmed, traumatised man that could no longer do any harm? Pish posh Jonn! Let's go celebrate James being OK!"
I see people saying Kara will be pissed when she learns Lena killed Lex and should go to jail....... Erm..... But according to what we saw of Kara's POV Kara was the one who LET Lex die! Then she smiled all proud of herself because the crowds were cheering her! But this is OK?
Kara "Lena? Wait..... 'You' killed Lex??'
Lena " why do you sound surprised?"
Kara "I was pretty sure 'I' let Lex fall to his death by not bothering to save h....."
Authorities "what was that Supergirl?"

Erm... I mean, he broke a damn and nearly killed people! It was necessary!"
Authorities "Mr Jonzz we've heard enough you're under arrest".
Kara "you can't do that!!"
Authorities "Supergirl, were you there to witness it?"
Kara "yes! And everything Jonn said is true!"
Jonn and Alex "Supergirl!!" 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Authorities "so you have been covering up this murder because you decided it was OK?"
Kara "what?.. Erm... no... That's not...Erm...we're the good guys! We get at least one murder and it's OK according to the plot!"
Authorities "OK, we've heard enough, you're under arrest Supergirl".
Supergirl "what???"
Alex "Supergirl is under my jurisdiction officers, I'll take it from here".
Authorities "Director Danvers?"
Alex "yes"
Authorities "both Mr Jonzz and Supergirl have or do work under your authority?"
Alex "yes! So I would appreciate you letting me handle....."
Authorities "so you have been aware of these crimes and the cover up and have been part of it?"
Alex "erm.... well"
Authorities "Director Danvers, we have a warrant for your arrest as well"
Everyone "what?!!"
Authorities "you can't do what you want simply because you call yourselves the heroes".
Authorities "oh and Mr Jonzz? Have you been using your mind wiping powers on people without consent?"
Jonn "erm.... well.. I don't LIKE doing it".
Authorities "ugh... you do realise the very things you want Miss Luthor arrested for you are guilty of yourselves?"
Everyone "it's totally different!!"
Authorities "why?"
Everyone "because we're the HEROES!!"

Lena isn't hypocritical if she gets mad at Kara.
Ok, so I'm still seeing some people saying that Lena is hypocritical to be mad at Kara because she was keeping secrets from her. The main one being the Harun El and giving humans superpowers.
Again, I don't think we're watching the same show, or if we are these folk really arent paying attention.
Lena told EVERYONE at Thanksgiving her hypothetical theory of giving people super powers and was immediately shot down. Now Lena doesn't need to stop doing something just because her friends only gave the idea 60 seconds of thought. The Superfriends aren't Lena's board, or her bosses. So why would she bother to tell them she was going ahead with her research when she knows they already disapprove? That would just be pointless.
Now cast your minds back, Lena TOLD James what she was doing. James APPROVED and praised her for it. His dubious look while she was sleeping was for him and him alone. He never told Lena he had reservations. The only issue James had with her research was her partnering with the government, not the idea itself. (Plus someone seemed pretty happy to keep those powers, or am I the only one who saw James enjoying training at the Fortress?)
Alex, Alex wasnt a fan of the idea, but then she was mind wiped and no longer had a personal connection to Supergirl. When Alex was working with Lena at the DEO she looked through that microscope and realized what Lena was doing. "So that conversation at Thanksgiving wasn't hypothetical?" She wasn't against the idea at all, the only concern Alex had was that it could put Lena in danger. Then you know what she did? She worked every day with Lena on it. She even told James when she visited Cat Co to see Kara that she was working with Lena. James acted butt hurt at the mere mention of his ex but he didn't protest what they were doing even though he already knew.
Brainy, he wasn't all that interested at Thanksgiving if I remember correctly. But Brainy was at the DEO and he worked work Lena and Alex on the Harun El without any protest. Brainy knowing full well what Lena was doing, what Alex was helping with and yet still devoted to being Lena's friend. To be honest Brainy seems to understand Lena better than anyone including Kara.
So Kara didn't know? Now here's the thing, Kara was there when Lena suggested it and didn't like the idea. Now remember Kara to Lena is just a civilian reporter, one that again already said she didn't want to give this idea the time of day. Lena may be best friends with Kara but there is a line that Lena won't cross when it comes to her research or business dealings. Why would she tell her civilian (reporter) best friend her secret work with the DEO? She wouldn't of course, technically there should be a bloody clause in the government contract to prevent that. "No telling Media acting CEO's or reporters". I mean that's just common sense. Lena didn't give Kara all the info when she was working with Rhea, even when Kara asked. She didn't even tell Kara about her work on the Lexo suit, because why would she tell Kara the reporter EVERYTHING she does?
Alex didn't tell Kara either, because just like Lena she believes her sister is just a civilian reporter. Alex the super secret DEO Director isn't going to go home and have sister night with Kara and tell her all the governments secrets. ( She would of it she knew she was Supergirl, but she's in the same oblivious boat that Lena's in). Alex may not know who Kara is, but it doesn't change her morals. It just meant she was finally free to see another picture without Supergirl blinders on.
You know who else didn't tell Kara? James didn't. Not one word. Actually kudos to him for not betraying Lena (again!)
You know who else didn't tell Kara? Brainy didn't either.
Kara only found out that Lena had been working with Harun El and manufacturing Super powers when she, Lena and Alex searched Eve's lab and found a chunk of it in a safe. Kara wasn't happy, but you know who defended Lena? Alex did!
Lena didn't tell Kara (or anyone) that she was working with Lex to save his life? I've already addr this in a previous post, but to summarize Lena doesn't have to tell her civilian REPORTER best friend everything she does. She already knows (or thinks she does) what people would say. But remember Lena was as far as she knew working legally with Lex. We all thought that to, until we found out he had the prison under his control. But still Lena didn't have to tell Kara any of this.
So yeah, Kara lying and decieving Lena about WHO she really is, letting her believe she's in danger, letting her freak out when she thinks she could have died, being a jackass ass to her as Supergirl then besties with her as Kara, manipulating Lena's boyfriend into breaking and entering and violating her privacy? Shall I go on? None of that is the same as Lena not telling civilian everything that's going on her in her life.
Lena keeps secrets because Kara as far as she is aware isn't effected by them. Kara keeps secrets and lies to Lena every 5 minutes. Lena has never betrayed Kara's friendship, Kara betrays it all the time. Lena has never taken Kara for a mug, Kara does all the time. Lena never went to Mon El as asked him to betray Kara, Kara did this with James.
People say that Lena is responsible for most of her own (or any) of the shows problems? Well you know who else to could have prevented many of the problems? Kara could have if she had trusted her best friend.
Even Lena would have questioned Kara's sanity if she had revealed herself immediately. But by season 3 Lena has ready saved the world and was Supergirls ally and Kara's supposed best friend. The whole Kryptonite issue could have been avoided completely if Kara has been honest, she course have just talked to Lena, Lena would also have known she could trust the DEO to help Sam.
Honestly I'm just bored of Kara's lies, deciet and manipulations getting a free pass because she's the certified hero and Lena who doesn't share everything she does with a civilian being condemned as the liar and responsible for every bad thing that happens. No one condemned Alex, Brainy or James for not keeping Kara on the loop, why? Is it because they are the 'heroes' and Lena who only ever tries to help people and has saved the world A LOT is automatically seen as the one who will go bad? Note that Kara would be dead a good few times over and couldn't have saved the day without Lena. The finale is being a prime example, Kara, Alex, Jonn, Brainy, Nia, James? The didn't make that space suit, they didn't make anti Kryptonite shields for Kara. (Winn did once). Lena also isnt the only one to make mistakes. But she's the only one condemned for them. Remember when Alex and Jonn just 'trusted' Jeramiah? Oh and he stole the alien register? Yeah no one was condemning them, it was just an 'accident'.

Supergirl’s Government, not as Xenophobic as people think?
Why do i keep seeing posts stating that the government, Col Haley and now Lena are Xenophobic and that is the end of that?
Lets look back and remember what has recently happened. The American President turned out to be an alien in disguise. That was a massive thing! Marsden deceived all of the USA and conned people into electing her as the President. Now correct me if im wrong but one does have to be a US citizen (born one) to run for office right? (im British) So, Marsden tricked everyone and broke the first rule of being the President. People were/are undoubtedly pissed about this.
Marsden signed the Alien Amnesty Act, granting aliens American Citizenship. If a human President had done that it would have been seen as humans making that decision, humans extending the hand of friendship and acceptance. But it wasn't, it was an Alien, granting all aliens American citizenship. Easily and not so far fetched it could be seen as the first wave of yet another alien invasion. In fact id question this more if there wasn't any suspicion!
National City (Earth) has seen Alien invasion via Kryptonians and Myriad, what about Reign? They have seen the Daxamites and they have seen countless rogue aliens causing mayhem and out to destroy on a weekly basis. Remember that Jonn was an alien in disguise who pretended to be someone the government knew so he could be in charge of the organisation whose job it is to bring down rogue aliens. All of these things combined are undoubtedly cause for suspicion! An alien in charge of the country and an alien in charge of the DEO
So is it any wonder that the Government/people are scared and want to crack down on aliens (like Supergirl) and know everything about them? Its not the best way to go about it, not all aliens are bad because of this, but fear is understandable and it makes people do drastic things.
We saw the Vice President, who is now acting President come to the DEO and demand to know who Supergirl is. Of course she refused and she was fired. Note, she was fired not arrested or hauled into a DEO cell.
Haley was brought in to see what was going on at the DEO, not surprising since the President, the most powerful woman in the world turned out to be alien and she was the one to pardon Jonn Jonzz fo his deceit, oh and reinstated him. Alex? She may be the Director but she has also happily been working with Jonn, Marsden and Supergirl and other aliens who they have now seen aren’t as trustworthy as people first thought. Its not surprising they brought someone else in, someone the government chose and trust to get a grip on things.
Now Haley told Kara to stand down and stop getting involved in alien/ DEO situations, not so wrong to be honest. She was told by her government to let them deal with their problems. Lets remember that Haley and the President were content to let Kara do her hero things, as long as it didnt cross into their business. But Kara refused and keeps getting involved. Now WE as the audience knew Kara isnt dodgy, and she’s doing this because she is a hero and she wants to help. But the Government dont know that, all they know is they have constantly been deceived and they want to be back in control.
Now Kara refuses to stop getting involved in things that she has been ordered to stay out of. Yes i know, she’s a hero and that the point, to US yes! But to the President and DEO she is a rogue alien who is refusing to take orders, and is sticking her nose where it isnt wanted. Due to all the recent above events, its no wonder tensions are high! The most powerful alien on the planet is a law onto herself. Lets remember that people have already seen Supergirl go crazy and try to achieve world domination. Under that dazzling smile, short skirt and blond locks is freaking dangerous alien with the attributes to kill them all! She’s even tried once!
Supergirl refuses to stop getting involved! Blatantly ignoring the American government! Well since they have seen that they can’t trust all aliens, and Supergirl could have been in the know that the President was an alien (we know this, but the Government may not) so she could have been complicit in whatever plans Marsden may have had, she has also worked closely with Jonn, another known deceiver, is it so hard a stretch that Supergirl may not be fully trust worthy? That having leverage on her is the safest option at this point? Would they have tried to learn her identity if she had listened and stood down? Maybe, but Supergirl didnt. She refuses to listen, something that Supergirl has always struggled with, she has always been a law unto herself to be honest, same as Kal El.
Haley gets orders to find out who Supergirl is, she does and we see her surprised that Supergirl is Kara Danvers. She tells her that from now on Kara will do as she says when she says it. Alex protests and says ‘She just saved your life!’ Yes she did, and that is great, im sure Haley was grateful. But that doesn't mean Haley’s orders are any different, and saving Haley’s life doesn't mean Kara is now once again free to do as she pleases. That’s not how things work. Also, Haley just found Alex has been telling some huge lies and she’s right, Alex is lucky she isn't in more trouble.
Back to Kara, Haley says her life as Kara Danvers is over, ‘a member of the press working out of a secret government organisation’ yeah, am i the only one who sees Haley’s point here? Kara as a member of the press has unlimited access to what goes on at the DEO, not a good combo. Also, as a journalist Kara has the means to put a spin on how aliens are perceived, since we know that most of Kara’s stories either involve Supergirl or other alien news. Kara as a journalist, no longer affiliated with the DEO could reek some havoc with the power of the press should she choose to expose them. We know she wouldn't, but Haley and the Government dont know that.
Also lets remember, who owned Cat Co? Cat Grant! Who was worked side by side with Marsden when she was President? Cat Grant! Who was Cat Grants assistant? Kara Danvers! Kara could have been in league with Marsden and Cat from the beginning. Remember cat launched Supergirl as well. So who is to say that anything Cat Co does or prints isn't biased or trustworthy? Oh as a side note, who is in charge of Cat Co right now? Not who owns it, who is in charge of the day to day business and who is the editor? James Olsen! A known vigilante, who has had access to the DEO and is close friends with Supergirl. Honestly its no wonder the Government are paranoid. That is a lot of possible bias happening in the press!
Yeah Haley goes overboard, she basically threatens Kara’s family and friends leading to Alex to knock her out. But her point about conscripting Kara back to the DEO wasn’t all that wrong. As mentioned, the US government dont know who they can and can’t trust now, Supergirl is under suspicion. Better to have her conscripted on their side than out playing the rogue hero when she has been told to stand down and they dont know her endgame. Im not saying its right, but i do see their point.
Now for Lena, long story short since i already address this in another post, Lena developed the serum to give superpowers to humans to level the playing field with aliens. Given ALL of what i just talked about, can you not see her point? Lena is aware of Marden, she is aware of the Daxamite invasion, she is aware of the recent alien threats, because she was either there or directly involved. She has also seen, that without her help things would have gone south with the Daxamites and Reign. Lena mentioned her ideas to her friends and they instantly disagreed, clearly thinking they can sort issues out themselves, using Lena whenever she is needed, but only doing what they want her to do. So Haley approached Lena, Lena wasnt buzzing about the whole giving her research to help the DEO etc but remember while they were talking, on the TV another alien had ripped out three human hearts. I think this is the turning point for Lena, she isnt happy, but things are waaaay out of control and anarchy is descending. Helping the government that has asked doesn't make her xenophobic, she hasn't shown signs of that. Wanting to be able to be on the same playing field as aliens doesn't make you xenophobic, it means you want to survive and you want everyone else to as well.
Haley is a soldier, i think she is harsh as hell, but not Xenophobic or as bad as she is made out to be. She is trying to get a handle on an organisation that has been effectively corrupted and compromised. Soldiers take orders. Also i haven't seen Brainy being threatened? Did i miss that somewhere?
Same with the new President, anarchy is descending with the COL, rogue aliens, not knowing who they can and can’t trust. He’s taking harsh steps to regain control of the country. I haven't seen him ordering the rounding up or registering of all aliens, have you?
Do you know who is Xenophobic and wants all the aliens gone and is actively trying to kill them all? the COL! Do you know who is actively working against them? The DEO! Do you know who has actively and publicly spoken out against them? Lena Luthor!. So i dont see Xenophobia in Haley, the President (maybe he is, we have yet to really see this in his actions outside of Supergirl) or Lena Luthor.
