a few months ago i made a post 4 one of my other fandoms abt whether I'd get along with the characters if they were my classmates. it was not well received (which is fair) so naturally

im doing it again but with dead poets society :)

neil: my beloved. my boyfriend. my son. i just want to get a hug from him. i could fix him. etc etc etc. if he were my classmate i would admire him from afar cause he seems like one of those nice/friendly popular kids and popular kids are unapproachable to me. but the nice popular kids in my theater class were the best and i imagine I'd get along with him like i got along with them; NOT making a move to be his friend cause he's so TALENTED and INTIMIDATING but if he were to approach me and make small talk it'd be easy :)

todd: my baby. literally me. if he were my classmate we would literally never talk ever. even if we were paired up or at the same table we might only talk if we were both in conversation with the same person. otherwise we'd simply work on the group project individually and call it a day. if the teacher came over and asked "hows everything going :)?" one of us would quickly say "fine!" w/o consulting the other and then we'd resume working. even though he's probably nice i might assume he resents me for some reason idk

charlie: tbh i dont think I'd like him all that much!! he seems like the kind of guy 2 act like we're friends and drag me into a conversation with his friends and ask me why i never talk to him :((( like sir im content just sitting here in silence. this is just me projecting my resentment of certain classmates onto him, sorry! maybe he'd be the friendly class clown type i actually DO end up sorta friends with, idk. anyway

knox: my behated. i dont even want 2 talk about him. next

cameron: honestly i do not know. ummm. I'd either think he's annoying or chill. im sorry but he DOES give me the vibe he'd assume i have no clue what's happening or smth cause im super quiet/dont seem super attentive. but maybe he'd realize i do understand the lesson and we'd be good to work on a project together. we would like being paired up for stuff but after school end we'd peacefully go our separate ways

meeks: again i!? do not know. he seems sweet, i think I'd enjoy his company if we were at the same table/working on something together :)

pitts: i literally NEVER talk about him here or ever but ngl out of all of them i do think pitts and i would be besties. or at least chat abt stuff besides school easily/be friend of a friends. we'd like. end up sitting across from each other at the lunch table and start chatting cause our friends are busy w/ something else. i have no reasoning for this i just feel like its true! maybe cos he reminds me of the three (3) guys ive gotten along with at school, so. yeah :)

bonus: if keating were my teacher i would love him but also he would TERRIFY me on account of, again, im literally todd, and i do NOT want to be singled out in front of the entire class or anything, thank you!
