i think one of my absolute favorite little details from fe3h is that “the dream is over”, the sorrowful string piece that plays when a playable character is killed—either as an ally or an enemy—is first heard during the scene when jeralt dies and byleth cries for the first time. it’s a nice subtle way to communicate how much byleth deeply cares for people, that their deaths affect her as strongly as her own father’s did and it never gets easier for her to deal with.

YES! I love them so much. @percyyoulittleshit introduced them to me with “Happiness” a few years ago, and I’ve listened to them since! I wish they had taken the white, fuzzy, glowy jackets from the Ice Cream Cake music video for their stage shows–that would’ve been my fave era! But I think Red Flavor is my favorite one so far ♥
