Good Vibes Only ♥ Ipsy Glambag August 2017
"We created three unique August Glam Bags, inspired by sparkly summer sunsets, the magic of the universe, and free spirits everywhere. We hope it inspires you to spread good vibes all month long."  -- Ipsy
If you have never tried or heard the glambag from Ipsy before, it is a monthly subscription that costs $10 and you get 5 products every month that matches your preferences you entered into your beauty profile. You can also earn points that can be used to purchase other products through writing reviews on the items you received and referring others to Ipsy. Note: Additional products tend to sell out fast when they become available, from what I have seen in the past.

First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay
First Aid Beauty is a cruelty free brand.
Claims from Ipsy
It’s gorgeous! The enticing, jewel-red color of this cleanser comes from the natural shade of its powerhouse ingredient, red clay.
No artificial colorants, or fragrances, but it smells amazing thanks to rosemary oil.
The gel turns into foam as you suds up, sweeping away makeup, dirt, and oil. Your skin will feel squeaky clean, but not stripped.
Aurora Pro Color Corrector in Pistachio
This is a new brand to me so I reached out to them and they verified they are both cruelty free and vegan. They also have a membership program where you don't have to pay any more than $3.50 for a makeup product which seems pretty cool. But their products aren't expensive in general if you don't want to sign up or a membership. I might do a one brand tutorial using their products in the future.

Green on your face? It sounds crazy, but we promise this color corrector won’t leave you looking like the Wicked Witch. Since green is on the opposite side of the color spectrum as red, it balances out ruddiness.
The whisper-light cream is perfect for layering beneath foundation, but works fab solo too.
Zero in on zits! Covering breakouts can be tricky, but pair this stuff and a concealing brush and your blemish will be wayyy less obvi.
theBalm Cosmetics theBalm Voyage Vol. 2 Eyeshadow in Kuwakaribisha
theBalm Cosmetics is cruelty free and I have another one of their eyeshadows and typically I do enjoy these. Plus the shade that I got in this bag is a perfect for...

Our fave new way to get glowing: this pale peachy powder is super pigmented, shimmery but not sparkly, and is totally buildable (in case you want your highlight to be extra extra).
We apply this underneath our brow bones and at the inner corners of our eyes whenever we need to wake things up a lil bit (AKA every day).
Looking for a neutral eyeshadow to balance out cat eyes, cut creases, and all that fun stuff? Look no further.
Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Arresting Volume Mascara
Make Up For Ever is not cruelty free as they do test where required to by law and is sold in mainland China. I will be donating this mascara.
Claims from Ipsy
We looove the fanned-out lash look, and this mascara’s petite brush is *perfect* for creating that wide-eyed effect.
More on that brush: It’s a blend of soft and hard fibers. The mixture allows you to layer on the formula and build up your lashes while combing through to nix clumps.
The color is gloriously rich. In just one coat our lashes were super dark (which made us super stoked).
Steve Laurant Precision Tip Liner in Black
A new brand for Ipsy and I'm so glad they are cruelty free! And I have added them to the cruelty-free guides. I'm glad Ipsy is getting more cruelty free brands and I hope one day they fully convert to only cruelty free brands.
Claims from Ipsy
New brand alert! We are v. excited about Steve Laurant’s debut makeup collection, which includes a signature precision tip eyeliner.
Housed in the chicest, of-the-moment rose gold tube, this fine-tipped waterproof liner will ensure a rockin’ winged eye.
We tested it out during a recent summer day and the water-resistant formula held up like a champ. Makeup meltdown avoided!
I am debating on ending my subscription with Ipsy and finding a similar subscription that has mainstream beauty brands that's 100% Cruelty Free. If you know of any, please let me know in the comments down below. I'm a little tired of having to give away or throw out the non-cruelty free products. Plus I think it's time for something new. I have loved my time getting Ipsy glambags and did debate on stopping this when I fully switched but never did. And I think the time has finally come. So yeah. Let me know of good cruelty free beauty subscription boxes or bags in the comments and I'll take a look at them.
