im surprised by the amount of ppl who think it's alright that kim k openly starved herself to fit into a dress, which also, let's be honest, 1) looked bad on her, 2) Marilyn very specifically didnt want anyone else to wear so it was incredibly disrespectful 3) possibly and probably damaged an iconic piece of fashion history just for a few photos 4) didnt even fit the met theme .. so she did all that for what ?? and like ure so right that she's the poster child for comodification of women's bodies, ppl idolise her body more than most other celebs so it's going to be so bad for ppl with eds or disordered eating generally, and give ppl ideas etc

exactly exactlyyy like her whole brand is her Body so i think she should watch what she's publicly saying about it like? but i feel like that would require forethought and consideration for others that the k*rdashians obviously do not have LOL. and yeah it's really really sad that so many of marilyn's wishes have been disrespected in death, people literally treat her like a piece of public property :( after the shit she was put through when she was alive, too. it's really messed up. also i knowww lol it's so annoying to me that it didn't even fit the fkn theme omg. it truly all just was to cause controversy / for a chance to cosplay iconicness for a moment lol. kind of a sidenote but i feel like today's celebs want to reach that level of revered fame so bad but they literally do not have the range to do so, so they just pull stunts like this instead. the whole thing really was not worth the end result - like u said it didn't look great, the dress prob got ruined and nobody thought it was cool or a Moment. just disrespectful. anyway so true there's just sooo much entitlement + lack of self awareness there. it's crazy
