THE MONTH OF TXT
There's lotttsss coming up from txt and im super excited but also. a tad bit worried.
SWEET- 5th July
When I heard this was gonna be a full album i was sooo hyped. Since we have JPN versions of all the Titles now, we could expect at least a handful of original tracks right? No we just got one :/ I have yet to listen to the whole album, and who knows, it might be an enjoyable listen front-to-back, but im still disappointed.
As for the song herself: I wanna talk about it in another post but Hydrangea Love is an easy classic txt homerun. Slower romantic track. Killer vocals. Huening Kai. What more do you need?
Im genuinely confused about how the album dropped. SRR JPN dropped in late June, then Hydrangea Love also dropped before the album was set to release? Why?
Do It Like This- 7th July
here the marketing is confusing me. They announced it as a "comeback", and are clearly treating it as such. Did Jun have to go caramel for a collab track? I dont remember making this much noise for Valley of Lies.
I suppose Jonas Brothers is a much bigger name, but they haven't done anything relevant since their comeback in 2019 either.
Idk the hype around this is very high and it can very easily fall through. It can very easily end up sounding like a pop song from 2015, no txt-ness in sight. Ryan Tedder is the producer i think which puts me even more at edge.
Another thing is the timing. Placing both the JPN album and this Collab so close to each other doesnt seem like a good idea to me. How do we get the time to properly promote both? I thought they were shooting for a proper comeback later in the year (it still might happen, which furthers my point.) The US leg just ended, there is Lolapalooza...
I just think there is too much going on surrounding txt. Its been one thing after another for years at this point. I would rather have them properly rest for a reasonable stretch of time, and have more complete projects, rather than rushing one-song-releases.
Our Lost Summer- 28th July
Again marketing i was like "what is this???🤔" in the comments till a kind moa explained its a tour documentary. From Disney Plus :/
But why Our Lost Summer as the title though? Doesnt that automatically make you think of 2020? We didnt lose that summer we made the best out of it. Shouldn't it have the sentiment of Our Glorious Summer?
To be fair i did want there to be a One Dream Season 2, a full-circle moment. bc One Dream was about their first time taking on the U.S as txt, and after three years its their first world tour. But without Mnet's involvement.
I hope this can be introspective and delve into the persepectives and experiences of each member and kind of like round up their career until now (i basically want a doc about txt as a whole not just that summer). Instead of just "here's some tour footage". Honestly id take that too bc ive been hungry for high-quality tour footage. The whole thing on streaming would be the ideal but. I'll take anything 🤲🤲
Man looking back at it all will be great that moment in time. felt so unreal. Best time of my life? Arguably.

Having watched a good amount of SBS's Gayo Daejeon, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. Disclaimer: I didn't watch every performance, especially from groups I don't know or that didn't show up on my feed, and I got very tired of watching the show anyway, it was so long. I also didn't find the camera work that awful. To me it didn't look worse than usual, but maybe that's because I didn't watch the entire show?
Aespa: As always, they didn't sing live, so their performance was a bit dry. The dance intro was fine, but the Mirotic cover was bad. Their vocals were too soft and the song completely lost its charm. I'm sure they only covered it because they're an SM group and it was part of TVXQ!'s tribute, but the song did not suit their vocals at all.
Itzy: Good performance, nothing special for them. I feel bad for Lia, but the group performs better without her. She has the prettiest and best vocals, but Yuna and Chaeryeong are covering her parts well and the group just looks more cohesive and complete on stage with only 4 members more or less on the same level dance-wise.
Enhypen: I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but they have better vocals and dancing than TXT. I've thought this for a while - not to compare them. I liked the dance break, but sadly they didn't sing live. It was still a good performance.
Le Sserafim: I'm very bored by LSF's performances. There was some live singing, but not enough, the dance breaks/intros weren't great, and nothing stood out to me. All their performances feel the same now, so I'm not really impressed anymore. LSF aren't really improving either, especially not in live vocals, so it's like I've seen everything they have to show. Also, not to be petty, but Chaewon looks terrible with long hair...
IVE: Good remixes, some live singing, but the girls are just such bad performers. Their moves have no power and look so clumsy, and the amount of hair twirling Wonyoung in particular does is excessive. They also don't look good together as a group. Their bodies types are too different, which combined with their lackluster dancing, makes them not so visually pleasing.
TXT: They sang live some, their dance break with the hands was one of their best - it was genuinely really good - but the Christmas remix of Chasing That Feeling of all songs was a bit of a miss. It was a good performance. TXT are just never that compelling to me on stage. Beomgyu did well. I notice he's been getting a lot more center time.
Yeonjun: I've seen nothing but praise for his 3D performance, but he would've fit Seven so much better. His vocals didn't suit 3D in the slightest and I doubt the song would've done was well if he sang it - never mind the fact that Jungkook is 1000 times more famous. 3D has powerful and charismatic vocals and Yeonjun's vocals were weak and thin. I don't particularly like his vocal tone, but it was terrible in this performance. The dancing wasn't charismatic either imo. It was a poor song selection. LC would've fit him better - though he would've struggled singing it a bit, his vocals and his dance are more like Jimin than Jungkook - and out of all of Jungkook's recent songs, Seven's probably the best fit for Yeonjun, maybe Closer To You as well.
Yuna: I wonder if it's because I'm not a Jennie fan, but I thought she did well. The song is very meh, and the performance was only good for a cover, but she did well. I like her rapping better than Jennie's, maybe because it was softer and also because of the vocal effects.
(G)I-dle: Their outfits in the Queencard performance gave Mean Girls in the best way possible and I've never heard their vocals so clearly. I really liked their performance - simple, but well executed.
NCT 127: They killed it, smashed it, knock it out of the park, I was blown away. I did not know they could perform like that. Their vocals were amazing, their energy was amazing, they performed Kick It which is such a hype song, I loved it, best performance of the night. Why don't they just sing live all the time if they sound like that!? I didn't watch their performance of their new song though, or any of the other NCT units.
Shinee: Sherlock is a pretty fun performance and Hard was good too, but their live vocals were missing for me. For such an old and iconic group, they should do better in that regard.
Stray Kids: This is the performance in which the bad camerawork was most noticeable to me. The audio leak issue was also weird but not quite as bad as Redditors made it sound. They really need better choreos and outfits. As always, I liked their energy and they sang live, but I don't like the songs, only LALALALA, so their stage wasn't really for me. But they always deliver.

Planned Works/Ideas for October
Hello everyone, as I mentioned previously I’ve been working on some stuff. I also have been feeling very inspired as of late and will be writing some more. I wanted to get this October started off right so here is a list of some things that will be coming your way hopefully sooner than later. I don't feel comfortable giving exact dates because as I've mentioned before certain factors can cause my writing schedule to be sporadic (also why I will not be participating in kinktober) Since some ideas are more developed than others his list will be separated into three categories:

First up here are the fully developed ideas that are in progress.

The tall, shy, handsome, boy who sits behind you in every class you share has a secret. Like many other people on campus, he was hopelessly in love with you. It began three years ago, freshman year, and every day it only got stronger. Over the years this has led him to do some… questionable things he's not a bad guy by any means he's just an awkward college boy in love. At first, it was innocent just sitting behind you in classes that you shared. He hoped that this would give him some time to gain some confidence to talk to you while still remaining close to you. He really didn’t mean to begin eavesdropping on your conversations or reading your texts over your shoulder, he just wanted to learn more about you before he approached you. But as time went on the worse he got from smelling your hair to following you around campus to lurking your socials to finally finding your dorm room. He told himself that he was just trying to return a jacket you left in class so he racked his brain for all of the information he “gathered” and remembered your room number. It was just supposed to be a quick drop off of the jacket he played out the scenario in his head a thousand times. knock on the door, tell you he picked it up when you forgot it, give it to you, and leave. But, when he knocked on the door it opened slightly you weren’t there but you left it cracked indicating that you would be back soon. The change in circumstances caused him to panic and so he decided to just go in and drop it on your bed as opposed to waiting at your door for you. As soon as he fully entered the room the door closed behind him and after folding your jacket placing it on your bed he goes to leave. Turns out you left your door cracked for a reason, he twists the knob and pulls with all his might but he can’t get it opened. The door jammed and he’s stuck in your room. Before he even gets the chance to panic he hears you right outside the door.

Klaus kills a woman. Unbeknownst to him, this woman was the soulmate of a powerful witch. In revenge the witch curses him vowing that the day Klaus finds his soulmate they will be made immortal but their soul would be removed leaving an eternal one-sided soulmate connection where Klaus is completely connected to them ( can only love and desire them, unable to hurt or kill them, able to see their thoughts and feel their emotions/pain.etc) but they have no connection to him. The witch finally takes the only reverse to the spell to the grave with him and his wife leaving nobody else to break the spell. The story will center around an interesting toxic yet slightly romantic relationship between Klaus and the reader where over years they are continuously on and off again. Klaus does everything to get the reader to love and stay with him and the reader uses this to their advantage. When they’re together its great but when they’re apart things never go well. In the end, the reader can always leave him but he can never leave them so he takes any measure to keep them by his side.

The Cat Owns You Part 2
After returning home from the café Soobin you’re finally able to transform. Now being human you keep up a nice façade for the evening eating dinner and watching television peacefully. Having you around for these few hours has him believing he made the right decision after a while he took you to your room before retiring to his own for the night. He drifts off to sleep happily thinking that he found a simple way to fix his loneliness issue a cute catgirl who resides in the room beside his. Nothing could have prepared him for what would happen a few hours later. Waking up to feel his hands and legs in an uncomfortable position he tries to adjust himself but he can’t, opening his eyes to look he realizes that he’s tied to the 4 sides of his bedpost. Before he can question what’s happening he sees you making your way toward him with the collar he purchased earlier in your hands. You notice that he’s awake but continue on fastening the collar around his throat before positioning yourself to sit on him, straddling his spread body “(Y/N) what’s going on” he asks trying to sound stern but it comes out as more of a whisper as the reality of his situation really begins to set in affecting his body in a way he didn’t expect. “Shhh don’t worry I’ll take care of you” you whisper in his ear sending a shiver through his body. Every second that passes he can feel his resolve fading he knows that he wants whatever is about to happen and soon he won’t be able to say no you know this too. He quickly yet unconvincingly rushes out “ no you can’t do this” causing you to chuckle “ Yes I can, I can do whatever I want you signed the papers” before he can ask what you mean you continue “I own you”
