#i headcanon Zeb’s love language to be physical touch

Currently obsessed with the concept of the Ghost crew being very physical with each other. Lots of hugs and shoulder claps. Arms around each other, hip checks, elbows in ears to the point they should be annoyed and pretend they’re annoyed but really everyone loves it
And then here comes along Kallus who’s lived most of his life in an isolated ISB environment, suddenly dragged into this physical situation where he’s being touched quite often and he does not like it.
I like the concept of Kallus teaching the Ghost crew about giving him space, since I see the opposite in fics where Ghost crew teaches Kallus stuff, especially things like warming up to physical contact. Like, no one needs to get used to physical contact. You shouldn’t teach someone to not be uncomfortable with unsolicited touching.
But especially after they start giving him space, when Kallus gets comfortable around them and starts initiating his own physical contact, like a shoulder clap or a small hug or something.
Zeb bluescreens the first time Kallus hugs him. And I want a moment when there’s a group hug and Kallus willingly goes for it and the whole crew just about shrieks with delight

I have this headcanon,
Basically Kanan's primary love language is physical touch but he doesn't want people to think he's a big softie and he always looks for an excuse to hold his family.
So, after Kanan went blind he used it as the reason to hold people more, mostly the ghost famliy, because he "can't tell if he has their attention."
This is a complete lie, as he is force sensitive and knows when he has their attention. Ezra, the only other force user in the group, doesn't know how being blind and force sensitive works so he doesn't say anything.
Onto the family
Hera caught on really quickly but wont say anything because she's happy that he's happy. She also likes that he's being more affectionate.
Chopper calls him out relentlessly but Hera is the only one believes him.
Sabine, I think, had a lack of affection from parental figures (mostly her mother) and Kanan sort of adopted her, so she has a second dad. She's fine with it.
Zeb isn't a touchy guy and he did ask that Kanan to not unless it was totally necesary. Zeb did catch on when chop started calling Kanan out but chalks it up to the fact that he doesn't like being touched.
Ezra's love language is also physical touch, Kanan is the father he missed out on, he isn't gonna complain.
