The Dinner & Battle of the Bands Breakdown!

Ok these episodes......are SO WHOLESOME! AHHHH SEEING THE GIRLS INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER! THOSE 2 SONGS ARE ALSO REALLY CATCHY I ALREADY LISTEN TO IT 8 TIMES NOW! These episodes are going to be the last breather before next week...well gotta go up the emotional roller coaster before crashing down.

This will be details and other stuff I notice during my rewatch as always, Spoiler below.

The Dinner

Marcy outfit is cute

Anne fold napkin like in "Lily Pad Thai"

Frobo's ability updated: Grill

Felicia let people stay in her house

Idk what Sasha's flower is but it probably symbolized smth

Sasha has 1 dagger on her shoulder, 2 in her hair(she kept one which was use later in the ep), and atleast 25 in her boot

A painting in the background is 1 frog reading story to 3 tadpoles

Anne wearing another traditional Thai outfit!

Those purple flower are so familar...i cant remember the name but there's a symbolism behind it

Sprig wore a different suit

Return of Grime's smile

Frobo holding bottle in the background

Sprig being passive-aggressive

Can we appreciate the facial expression in this show?

"Anne took the blame and say it was her idea," this show how Anne is willing to sacrifice to help her friends

aSasha is annoyed that she doesn't get the inside joke between Anne and Marcy

"Sergeant Campbell BilGEwater and the Horsefly Rebellion of 48'" guess there's a lot of amphibia history we don't know...

"For a frog ur pretty smart," Grime really look down at frog huh?

Sasha and Sprig interaction is golden.

"Well maybe I dont wanna change? Do you ever think about that? Or were you two busy riding your high horse?" notice how she say you two and not ur family, it may referred to how she Anne and Marcy has change

"We're supposed to be friend for life! We don't split up," Marcy is really trying her best to keep friendship together

Even Sasha know frog doesn't do dessert battle(see how she said "no!")

Anne's theme can be heard when Sasha said "I like how I am"

Marcy being sensitive about friend and family continuity from "Maddie and Marcy"

The house in the background have light, guess the family over there finally get back together(the house was abandoned in Stakeout and destroyed in Handy Anne)

"Where we gonna live?" HP with his 10/10 dialogue

AAAAHHH seeing the girl interact with each other is so wholesome. I really like how they are talking about Anne's(and marcy) changes and its affect on Sasha. ALSO HOW DOES GRIME BECAME A S TIER CHARACTER UNDER 11 MIN!? Overall this is a really fun episode(even through i said that to every episode...)!

Battle of the Bands

"It's just one time" Sasha also said this in previous episode

The wheel of fun include: "Potluck Dinner", "Massage Train", "Battle of the Bands"

The trio band name is "Sasha and the Sharps"

Sasha's guitar case have a sticker written "Fangs" and a beetle

Her guitar has a tiny grime sticker!

Sasha is sweating when playing the guitar

Marcy being clumsy

"If that's ok with you Sasha" Marcy really want her friends to be together

When Anne sings "Finally me is no big deal", she blushed meaning this sentence really mean so much to her.

Anne's pupil is bigger when she ask Sasha about "No Big Deal" lyrics

Anne's outfit is a dragonfly, Marcy is butterfly, and Sasha is moth, all of these can symbolised change(for dragonfly can represent self realization too)

"Why is it always have to be your way?" Anne can now talk about to Sasha when she doesn't agree with something

"Once again I'm forcing you to do things my way"Sasha really want to become a better person

Sasha isn't really happy when leaving Anne and Marcy

"If I'm not in control at all time, I'll go crazy! It actually kind of exhausting" Sasha doesn't like the feeling of needing to control either

Vote Toadstool pin, maybe Toadie kept this from the last election in ss1

RETURN OF DUCKWEED

Mrs. Croaker playing her...uh...instrument by...yea im gonna skip this one

Sprig and Wally playing their instruments!

Marcy have brown pupil

Anne and Marcy's band name is "The Sharp"(cuz u know, no sasha)

There's a tuba-like instrument in the back of Frobo

There's a paper on the curtain that wrote "You got this!"

I'll make a seperate post about the song's lyric later, probably :)

HP and Sprig ARE PROUD

The light in this scene is pink, notice how Sasha is in the dark and seeing Anne and Marcy on the stage is like a "light"

We can see some drums, mop, and ropes in the backstage

Stumpy, Chuck, Felicia, Ivy(on top of Felicia's head), and Tuti can be seen in the crowd

THIS SCENE. THIS SCENE IS SO WHOLESOME! SEEING THE GIRLS TOGETHER

Also the girls' outfit is same/similar to their respective gem

THIS IS IT! THE MOST WHOLESOME PICTURE IN THE SHOW!

This is it. The most wholesome episode in the show. The girl's interaction with each other, Sasha and Anne friendship is healing, callback to many character, and one final happy photo....I am really scared for next episode. This is the final peak before everything's go downhill, get ready.
