Something about in the npmd proshot hearing the actual audience cheering for Ruth while she hits those GOT DAMN HIGH NOTES OH MY GAWD <3 in Just For Once . Fucking makes me wanna sob. In universe there's obviously one to hear it but max but we know she deserves it. We know that performance warrants that praise and that reaction but Ruth doesn't. Does this make any sense.
