I miss them

I was working so hard on this, really hope someone will like it! My precious rodydeku lovechild, Haruki-kun, in bnha-style! I don't like everything I managed but so far this is my maximum.

Some background info: Haruki's quirk is emotion manipulation - his animal, similar to Pino, reflects his own mood, but when it's touched by someone else, their emotions get translated towards Haruki! He can slightly influence how the person is feeling, and it's very suiting, because he is very kind.

After a faithful encounter with a broken support item in the support department, where Izuku took him to have a word with Hatsume Mei about his gear, Haruki decided he's gonna be the best inventor to help all those heroes outside and make their lives easier.

He also has a freepass into the dynariot's support department agency, but he doesn't feel that he is good enough to work there yet, so after graduating from UA he is still mostly spending time under Hatsume's wing. I hope you like him as much as I do!

Rodydeku

I absolutely enjoy them! They carry on pretty naturally a Opposites Attract dynamic, with both of them coming from different upbringings and situations but able to come to understand each other quite well! No wonder Rody left a big impression on the fandom after the movie,

(and I love that Izuku getting a summer boyfriend got a whole movie about it xD)

(from the way the poster for the fourth movie had a more somber mood I don't think we will repeat this experience :< or maybe he had a situationship in his Vigilante Era who knows)

Also, since I’m bored to and trying to get my brain into POTSOD mood…

Who wants to hear about the plot I’d come up with for RODYDeku as it sadly got cut from actually happening? (I might include a flirtation and a small kiss ala ‘saving the day and summer romance’ but… not an actual thing)

Reverse Uno - favourite characters to write? favourite fandoms to write? favourite relationships?? what are your favourite kinds of aus? what kinds of fics do you look for?

Favourite characters to write: so far I've had the most fun writing tomura I think, tho that was also hard. I also like writing all might and izuku, though i think I write from izuku's pov more often. I've also enjoyed writing the shounen tantei-dan a lot. There was just something very relaxing about it. I remember REALLY enjoying writing five from umbrella academy and delving into everyone's relationships in the one fic I wrote for it. I think I would enjoy writing from eri's pov one day. And lately I've had a want to write tsubasa fanfic, tho I don't have any ideas for what to write. Haibara was fun to write for too the one time I wrote her. Nejire as well - delving into her character and relationships was fun even if that wip hasn't seen the light of day in months.

Favourite fandoms to write: it really changes depending on my current hyperfixation. Right now it's bnha, but sometimes it's dcmk, and I also get cravings for various CLAMP mangas. Digimon and umbrella academy were fun the times I wrote for them. I enjoy writing for avatar as well, but I think that really depends on my mood

Favourite relationships: mostly platonic. I struggle with romance. I love dadmight, and aodeku, and rodydeku. I like the friendship between izuku and ochako and iida a lot, especially throwing shouto in the mix. Natsuo and shouto bonding is a favourite of mine, tho that's more something I've read than written. I also like platonic izuku and shigaraki A LOT. And the fact that spinner cares for tomura so much makes my heart melt. I think erasermight is one of the only ships I really like, but even then its in a really specific slow burn way that could make me just as happy platonically. Mirio and izuku and eri friendship is good too. Very much like big brother mirio. There's also a trend in my fics/wips of yoichi having parental feelings for toshinori??? But I feel like that's a very specific au thing that I wouldn't really care for outside of that kind of scenario.

With dcmk it's platonic coai, platonic kaishin, the friendship between conan, haibara, and the detective boys. I'm also a sucker for conan and amuro friendship, as well as hattori's undying loyalty as shinichi's friend.

With tsubasa you could literally pair up any of the characters platonically and I'd be like !! That sure works. I think I have a certain fondness for syaoran and fai interaction.

Pretty much the thing that drew me and keeps me obsessed with digimon is literally Ken and daisuke's friendship.

What are your favourite kinds of aus?: canon divergent. It has to be something that works somehow in the universe we've been given, otherwise I'm not interested. Time travel is a favourite, and also little small changes. Even big changes. Just the way something changes and how the story's affected. I would kill for more fic set during all might and izuku's ten months training period where there's some tiny little change. I feel like that's a favourite period of time of mine in bnha, its where I always start writing from.

The kinds of fics I look for: they're usually canon divergent. I generally don't read fluff fic or short coda fics. What I look for seems to be little changes from what I see while I watch. I'll see something and go, oh but what of something happened during this time and they were forced to sort that out. I especially like time travel. I also,, have a habit of breaking my fluff rule for dadmight simply because there's not a lot of good dadmight out there. I generally don't read romantic stuff cause I'm fussy about it. I'm a big fan of hurt/comfort tho. I'll read shorter stories just for hurt/comfort. And I also generally dip out of longer stories because of my attention span.
