i think it says a lot that the rowdy 3 and priest are the only people dirk seems completely terrified of
#no im not comparing them more like how dirk reacts to violent men#like dirk has a decent backbone despite the flurry of limbs and panicked expressions suggest#he stands up to todd like its nothing (probably because todd isnt a threat in the slightest nor is he yknow cruel)#he stands up to riggins despite being scared#he rags on patrick#hes straight up just pissed off at friedkin#he even gets snarky despite being scared of bart in s2#hes defiant towards ken#unclear with suzie but he does bitch about her he doesnt exactly do that towards r3 or priest#he only stood up to the rowdies when he so backed in corner that he had no choice but to lash out#rowdies are protective of dirk fanon my detested#making dirk come across as the most spineless person in existence and needs someone to stand up for him for /everything/ my detested#does he want help? yes! but that doesnt mean hes that incapable#i dislike this fanon because its so weirdly backwards to what is actually shown with dirk like its the opposite#i swear i wont keep ranting abt this or the other fanon i dont like#dghda rewatch
