So I have been listening to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way album as it turns 10 years old this year. I’ve been having flashbacks to younger me rocking out to this album but there is this one song that I only can think of a certain fictional character.
Which Song? Government Hooker
Now if that doesn't tell you who I am thinking of. He is from BBC Sherlock....
I only think of a fan video of Mycroft Holmes to Government Hooker.
Ngl have I re-watched the video couple times on repeat because I remembered it? Yes, yes I did... Does it still hold up? YEs and I am Screaming ..
Why am I like this?

Yo dude what else is on the dirty bass playlist, that sounds like a fun one.
so no lie for the longest time it was just pleasure drive and hypnotize by biggie (because that bass line is filthy) and I did just listen to those two songs on repeat for my entire commute, however, I have now added some other hipster nonsense:
seven nation army - white stripes (obviously)
gigantic - pixies
less I know the better - tame impala
i turn my camera on - spoon
alaska - maggie rogers
the chain - fleetwood mac
keep on running - andy bull
paper planes - mia
polyester girl - the gurge
ooh la la and strict machine - goldfrapp
it’s never over (hey orpheus) - arcade fire
hits me like a rock - css
left hand free - alt-j
government hooker - lady gaga
playgirl - ladytron
juicebox - the strokes
knee socks - arctic monkeys
hang me up to dry - cold war kids
electric feel - mgmt
and, I’ll admit this is probably too fringe for anyone else’s tastes, but howzat by sherbet because I have been waiting for someone to sample that bass line for what feels like my entire life.
