also just generally tired of seeing chaotic characters being labelled adhd and then being portrayed the way they are. not to brag, but i’m in two school courses a year up, and top three in my class in both and i’m adhd. yes, it is harder to focus but we CAN focus and we’re far from single minded neurodivergents.

also, during brooklyn’s here race is right up there with the manhattan boys, so you can see that he takes responsibility and is fit to lead Manhattan, no doubt one of the toughest boroughs to lead

Like guys please,, a little difference in there would be so refreshing!! If you hc a character as ADHD and make their only "ADHD trait" being chaotic, maybe take a step back and tey to figure out a way to improve upon that. Maybe give that character other traits as well, go into detail about how they deal with their ADHD, something along those lines. And if you see a character that's hyperactive or chaotic, and immediately label them as ADHD with like,, no other reasons than "they move a lot and are kinda dumb :)" just,,, idk maybe reevaluate how you view people with ADHD and like do some research or something :/
