Since it’s April Fool’s Day (I'm late haha), let’s be fools about our own writing instead of pranking others!
Answer the following questions, then tag 3 others you would like to participate:
• Which of your characters are you an absolute fool for?
There are two big ones here. Across the Tracks!Tae, and Highway to You!Yoongi. Tae is such a confident, cheeky and caring rascal in Across the Tracks. He was super fun to write, and I am a huge softie for his disarming grin.
As for Yoongi, in Highway to You, he just makes my heart bleeeeed. He has such a loyal, protective heart and loves reader so so fiercely. This couple has to be one of my favourites in general. At heart their love is so strong and pure, among such a messed up and painful series of events. Don't mind me crying over them🥺😭
• Which genre are you most confident writing in?
This should surprise none of you: action! Pretty much all my long works are plot heavy, mafia au or adjacent stories heavy on the action side. Have I ever not had violence as a warning? Lmao
• Who is your favorite minor character in any of your fics?
Ohhhhh this is sUCH a hard question! I love writing in the boys as reader's friends. Some highlights have to be the very baffled and oblivious Namjoon in Big Enough for Both of Us, the iconic and loyal duo of Jin and Hobi in Across the Tracks, and the same duo as ultimate wingmen in Just in Time.
At the moment, I'm loving Tae in Supercharged... but you'll have to wait for that one!👀he's a very interesting character with a unique background, I'm not even sure it will all come up in the main series. I hope more of you fall in love with our mysterious villainous boy, though.
• Which of your fic’s worlds would you most like to live in?
This was difficult for the opposite reason to most other questions... because most of the worlds I've made wouldn't actually be that pleasant to live in, I've realised🤣remember what I said about violence? That said, I would have to pick Breathe Again or Still Waters Run Deep, my ghibli aus. Not much can go wrong there! I think they're the most pretty worlds with a little bit of magic sprinkled in🥰
• What is the silliest small detail you’ve ever written that still makes you laugh or smile?
There are a ton of details and hints in Still Waters Run Deep about Tae's real identity... a lot of things that reader writes off as luck which in my mind are anything but, so I hope people notice! Lots of 'probably a trick of the light'/'probably your imagination'/'you probably should be cold'👀
But though they make me smile, maybe they aren't so silly! If that's what you're after, it would probably be in A Dash of Love when Taehyung went crazy and ordered a bunch of squirrel plates, in a very obvious reference to that run!bts episode
• If you could cast anyone in an adaption of any of your fics (other than whoever has inspired/shares the name of the character) who would it be and why?
I am so bad with actors. I do not know, I'm sorry! I literally only picture the guys I'm writing about

Okay I have no plans to watch 911, but will probably watch vicariously through reblogged gifs. But I saw “tsunami” somewhere in the tags and isn’t this in LA?? I know. There’s a coast but fires happen on an annual basis vs a TSUNAMI. Lol is there context or was it just “an earthquake happened and now there’s a tsunami in Santa Monica.”
Also, Eddie looks lovable.
That is the context lol an earthquake happened and then there was a tsunami in Santa Monica XD
But friend...friend...the tsunami arc is like...my hands-down favourite and since you have no intention of watching it and I can't spoil you LET ME TELL YOU WHY :D
We have a character Buck who, canonically, is described as a golden retriever and who got smushed by a whole-ass fire truck and his leg got super pancaked. But it was okay, he did rehab, did surgeries and was better and going back to work! But then at his welcome back party he straight up puked up a ton of blood and almost died (pulmonary embolism because of the aforementioned pancaking).
So now he def can't work because he's ~on blood thinners~ so as to not throw up his lung again and Buck has, canonically "nothing outside of the job" (at least he feels that way) so he's mega depressed. So his bff (Eddie!) comes over and literally pulls him out of bed, throws his young son at him and says "you have your whole life ahead of you; case in point, go bond more with my son :)".
So Buck takes the small child....to the Santa Monica pier!! Literally to the farthest edge of it because we live for drama. And then TSUNAMI. So Buck potato-sacks the small child and makes a run for it but you know it's an ocean so it's faster and whoosh, down they go.

It's 2 episodes of terror and sweetness and pseudo-father-son bonding and ANGST because he SAVES the kid and then he LOSES THE KID (and also his mind and like half his body's reserves of blood because blood thinners + great bodily damage).
(Btw Eddie has no idea any of this is happening, he thinks Buck took Chris to the movies lol so he's just chilling, doing his job, literally saving people 1 whole-ass block away from where Buck and Chris are like drowning)
Anyway so Buck ends up literally stumbling through the streets, openly bleeding, screaming himself hoarse for Christopher, saving lives as he goes like the goddamn hero he is. And then he finds Eddie instead and has to try to tell him he lost his son....and then boom! Chris finds them (via a nice lady) and Buck straight up collapses on the street in the arms of his other coworkers/friends. Happy endings!
And we don't get to see Buck recover or watch him and Chris reunite or hug or talk about the 25 people he saved single-handedly while being unfit for firefighting service and I'm not at all bothered by any of that. :)))))
And then, to round us out, the most romantic of Ed Sheeran songs plays while Eddie and Chris come back to Buck and Eddie basically tells Buck he's like Chris' other father and we were all super normal about it.
Also, Eddie is eminently lovable. You have great instincts. <3 Enjoy the watching-thru-gifsets! And if that ever devolves into watching this goddamn weewoo comfort show, know that you have a support group waiting XD
