LOL ok this is a character I can write about First Impression: Back when I started playing AK I had no idea the brainrot it was going to inflict on me and the early writing definitely didn't prepare it for me either. I thought her design was really cool and from the early interactions I was like "hmmm.... I get an impression this woman doesn't like the doc.... surely it mustn't be that deep..." Impression Now: It Was That Deep. I think Kal'tsit is one of those characters that really really shines the writing of the game. Is her backstory insane?? Absolutely. Is it really tragic?? Certainly. Is she morally upstanding?? You bet there's essays out there I won't get into on her morality. There's so much I can say about her it's so hard to condense it into a short post. Favourite Moment: I think nearly everyone in the community will agree that The Sarcophagus Scene hits DIFFERENT. The full and honest confession about the reasons she hates the Doctor, how she fully confesses to wanting to kill them were it not for past promises she made to Theresa and for Amiya's sake. It's the first time in the game that she speaks without any coldness or emotional distance, but with pure vitriol. I love women who are violent and angry, who want to bite and maim and murder but are doing everything they can to restrain it. Idea for a Story: GODDDDDD I don't know!!! This game's lore is so deep and her backstory is so long timeline wise that there's so much I want to see. I think I'm VERY curious about the backstory behind her and MON3TR, I want to find out how she got a sickass biomechanical sentient killing machine spine. Also if the theories are true and Talos-II in Endfield is a post-apocalypse Terra, I want Kal'tsit to still be alive because I love suffering. Unpopular Opinion: "She gives too much world lore exposition!! I don't want to read 30000 words of Ursus politics" move over bitch I want to hear all of the incredible detail about how some city was founded by some guy and the paragraphs of history pertaining to it up until the present. I am a slut for hyperdetailed worldbuilding and she is the one who always provides and I love her for it. Favourite relationship: Theresa is dead but hey as Arknights fans maybe half of all pairings are with the deceased. There is no heterosexual explanation for the contents of that "suicide note":

I think immortal beings who, after possibly millennia of living many different lives, decide to devote themselves fully to a mortal who wants to give them a place they can finally call home in whatever life they have left is... idk it does a lot. Favourite headcanon: I like to think that Ada/Closure is the only person Kal'tsit has anything close to a friendship with on Rhodes Island. We've had two VN-only events with the two having interaction and just based on the way the two interact there's a clear difference in the way she treats Closure compared to everyone else. Hell, Ada is the only person Kal'tsit has been willing to share her world lore backstory secrets to (and actually tolerates her jokes!!!) Women who drink 5 redbulls and 6 monster energies a day Solidarity!
