Beom Jae + Hye Young were like 😟 when Dong Soo was willing to ruin a bunch of lives and actually straight up kill a person in order to have wealth which fairs, but like all wealth is aqcrued through violence.

If Dong Soo had continued working at Moon law firm and moved up the ranks, he could probably have become almost as rich as he became working with Dong Soo. And he would have left just as many corpses in his wake. They would just be people who died from overwork or suicide rather than stab wounds or GBH or getting a car thrown on top of the car you're in.

Would Hye Young and Beom Jae have been upset when they found out any of the cases Dong Soo was working on had him with a ton of metaphorical blood on his hands? Of course, but probably not to the same level as they were when he got literal physical blood on his hands
