I really liked this au, so I might continue this sometime

pardon my inactivity but.. heres an au that me and my bf started developing for the past couple days... for now we’re calling it the “snake in the grass” au

basically the cast r all mythological creatures - mika being a naga with a bounty on his head for stealing the village’s food, and yuu being a werewolf who takes up the job of a bounty hunter due to a lack of better work

in town, naga are said to be hideous creatures because no ones ever really seen one, and rumor is that they kill any unsuspecting victims that pass - but... that doesnt turn out to be the case when yuu gets apprehended by the thief hes been trying to track down himself

and though the naga did have intent to kill he gets interrupted by a child - one of many orphans hes talking care of - which is when yuu realizes just where all the food’s been going

and though yuu manages to escape, he keeps on going back to try to learn more about the surprisingly attractive snake dude and his makeshift orphanage, even bringing him food to help feed the kids

its just a bunch of concepts right now but take this anyway (’: dont tag as kin/id

uuuuuuuuuuuh we dont have very much planned yet but heres some more stuff..

werewolves are considered one of the more aggressive creatures that live in towns, so theyre typically feared by the more passive ones, and usually take on jobs like being part of the city guard/other combat jobs.. this is why yuu took on the job of a bounty huntera side note, hes notorious for being unpredictable and .. especially aggressive, so the only people that really tolerate him are shinoa, yoichi, kimizuki, mitsuba, and guren (who is a werewolf who is actually a part of the city guard, so by extension yuu is known amongst some of the higher-ups)

speaking of higher-ups, the hiiragi bloodline is still considered powerful in this au, and most of them take the form of kitsune and have a different number of tails depending on their status (this includes shinya because we are lazy, but he only has one tail)

yoichi is a faun (and a trans boy), kimizuki is a satyr //to match heehe, shinoa is a kitsune of course because shes a hiiragi, and mitsuba is a harpy

so as said in the last post, mika is caring for little orphan kids of varying backgrounds and creatures of all sorts.. which is why he steals from yuu’s town in the first place. naga have very bad reputations in cities because they typically live in isolation and are responsible for the majority of crimes throughout the land. (we’re thinking of having all the vampires be naga but we know for sure that krul and ferid are naga in this au)

the cast have animalistic behaviors corresponding to the creature theyre based off of, so werewolves have heightened senses and strength, naga have very quick reflexes and really strong grip + are mostly nocturnal, etc

more will be revealed in the future but i hope this has quenched ur curiosity for the time beingg
